deny_v a_o resurrection_n whole_o but_o take_v a_o part_n for_o the_o whole_a or_o put_v the_o earnest_a for_o the_o inheritance_n say_v it_o be_v pass_v already_o in_o like_a manner_n those_o against_o who_o we_o contend_v they_o do_v not_o say_v that_o there_o be_v no_o resurrection_n at_o all_o yet_o in_o effect_n they_o say_v as_o much_o for_o they_o say_v it_o be_v pass_v with_o they_o and_o they_o look_v for_o no_o other_o kind_n of_o resurrection_n than_o what_o they_o do_v now_o enjoy_v but_o this_o their_o doctrine_n be_v no_o better_a than_o vain_a babble_n all_o true_a believer_n be_v to_o shun_v and_o avoid_v sect._n 12_o and_o yet_o they_o that_o be_v thus_o deceive_v as_o to_o imagine_v that_o they_o have_v attain_v unto_o the_o resurrection_n from_o the_o dead_a think_v to_o bring_v something_o to_o bear_v up_o their_o building_n from_o revel_n 20._o 6._o where_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n say_v bless_a and_o holy_a be_v he_o that_o have_v part_n in_o the_o first_o resurrection_n on_o such_o the_o second_o death_n have_v no_o power_n etc._n etc._n conclude_v that_o the_o resurrection_n be_v pass_v with_o those_o that_o have_v attain_v to_o their_o suppose_a degree_n of_o perfection_n but_o alas_o they_o be_v great_o deceive_v for_o the_o first_o resurrection_n here_o speak_v of_o be_v not_o the_o quicken_a of_o the_o spirit_n only_o but_o the_o raise_n up_o and_o invest_v the_o whole_a body_n soul_n and_o spirit_n of_o those_o holy_a one_o there_o mention_v with_o life_n and_o immortality_n and_o that_o this_o be_v so_o appear_v by_o the_o 4_o and_z 5_o verse_n where_o john_n say_v i_o see_v the_o soul_n of_o they_o which_o be_v behead_v for_o the_o witness_n of_o jesus_n and_o for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o which_o have_v not_o worship_v the_o beast_n neither_o his_o image_n neither_o have_v receive_v his_o mark_n upon_o their_o forehead_n or_o in_o their_o hand_n and_o they_o live_v and_o reign_v with_o christ_n a_o who_o know_v not_o that_o their_o body_n come_v also_o and_o be_v it_o so_o that_o by_o the_o first_o resurrection_n here_o mention_v be_v mean_v the_o renovation_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n by_o rise_v from_o sin_n to_o newness_n of_o life_n yet_o this_o be_v so_o far_o from_o conclude_v against_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n of_o man_n that_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n of_o every_o true_a believer_n may_v rather_o be_v conclude_v from_o it_o as_o say_v the_o apostle_n paul_n rom._n 8._o 11._o but_o if_o the_o spirit_n of_o he_o say_v he_o that_o raise_v up_o jesus_n from_o the_o dead_a dwell_v in_o you_o he_o that_o raise_v up_o christ_n from_o the_o dead_a shall_v also_o quicken_v your_o mortal_a body_n by_o his_o spirit_n that_o dwell_v in_o you_o and_o as_o eyelid_n be_v lift_v up_o and_o who_o carry_v a_o high_a look_n than_o thou_o every_o one_o be_v but_o filth_n and_o froth_n that_o oppose_v thy_o way_n what_o a_o eye_n of_o scorn_n and_o disdain_n have_v thou_o by_o which_o it_o be_v evident_a that_o thou_o be_v not_o more_o humble_a but_o rather_o more_o proud_a than_o other_o sect._n 2_o the_o second_o proof_n be_v thy_o unity_n the_o which_o that_o they_o have_v both_o touch_v and_o feel_v he_o and_o yet_o find_v no_o virtue_n come_v out_o of_o he_o no_o marvel_n therefore_o that_o the_o scripture_n seem_v to_o be_v lifeless_a and_o a_o dead_a letter_n to_o such_o who_o faith_n be_v dead_a to_o they_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n that_o the_o scripture_n do_v not_o enlighen_fw-mi they_o that_o go_v about_o to_o destroy_v they_o or_o in_o the_o other_o come_v with_o wicked_a hand_n to_o crucify_v and_o slay_v he_o because_o they_o deny_v he_o to_o be_v the_o christ_n and_o wherefore_o be_v it_o that_o some_o find_v wonderful_a comfort_n in_o the_o scripture_n and_o be_v thereby_o make_v wise_a unto_o salvation_n be_v it_o not_o because_o they_o come_v with_o humble_a and_o believe_a heart_n to_o they_o but_o they_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o dead_a letter_n to_o such_o who_o faith_n and_o affection_n be_v quite_o dead_a to_o they_o sect._n 5_o but_o to_o make_v a_o further_a manifestation_n of_o the_o divine_a authoriiy_n of_o the_o scripture_n i_o will_v lay_v down_o these_o follow_a consideration_n to_o prove_v the_o scripture_n to_o be_v a_o infallible_a teacher_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o salvation_n first_o because_o there_o be_v no_o man_n nor_o spirit_n or_o light_n within_o any_o man_n in_o this_o world_n â—hat_n can_v name_v a_o work_n of_o righteousness_n which_o as_o a_o act_n deed_n or_o duty_n of_o righteousness_n aught_o to_o be_v observe_v by_o the_o son_n of_o man_n which_o the_o scripture_n of_o the_o old_a and_o new_a testament_n do_v not_o make_v mention_n of_o fair_o discover_v and_o full_o comprehend_v therefore_o the_o scripture_n be_v a_o infallible_a teacher_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o salvation_n 2._o because_o there_o be_v no_o man_n nor_o spirit_n or_o light_n within_o doctrine_n of_o the_o scripture_n how_o much_o therefore_o be_v it_o to_o be_v lament_v that_o the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n shall_v be_v so_o vilify_v and_o reproach_v and_o that_o any_o shall_v be_v so_o delude_v as_o whole_o to_o neglect_v the_o read_n of_o they_o and_o let_v they_o lie_v in_o the_o corner_n of_o their_o house_n without_o all_o regard_n of_o they_o alas_o it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o professor_n in_o the_o marian_n day_n when_o one_o book_n of_o it_o be_v at_o five_o pound_n value_n and_o for_o the_o least_o epistle_n a_o man_n will_v give_v a_o load_n of_o hay_n and_o carry_v it_o up_o to_o london_n into_o the_o bargain_n but_o now_o we_o have_v plenty_n man_n dare_v abuse_v it_o and_o tread_v it_o under_o their_o foot_n and_o because_o it_o do_v not_o cry_v out_o with_o a_o vocal_a voice_n and_o reprove_v in_o and_o by_o itself_o alone_o therefore_o they_o conclude_v it_o be_v worth_a nothing_o and_o yet_o can_v high_o esteem_v of_o their_o own_o book_n although_o they_o can_v do_v as_o little_a but_o now_o consider_v take_v the_o best_a grain_n that_o can_v be_v procure_v lie_v it_o in_o a_o dry_a place_n where_o it_o can_v grow_v and_o will_v it_o become_v fruitful_a not_o at_o all_o but_o sow_o in_o the_o field_n and_o it_o will_v bring_v forth_o abundant_o even_o so_o lay_v thy_o bible_n in_o a_o corner_n of_o thy_o house_n without_o regard_n of_o the_o doctrine_n therein_o contain_v and_o it_o will_v be_v no_o way_n profitable_a to_o thou_o but_o lay_v up_o the_o doctrine_n thereof_o in_o thy_o heart_n where_o it_o shall_v be_v and_o it_o will_v become_v a_o fruitful_a word_n to_o thou_o for_o it_o be_v not_o likely_a that_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o scripture_n shall_v do_v thou_o any_o good_a or_o that_o thou_o shall_v feel_v any_o virtue_n in_o it_o while_o thou_o endeavoure_v to_o shut_v it_o out_o of_o thy_o heart_n but_o let_v the_o say_n of_o the_o scripture_n when_o and_o where_o they_o reprove_v for_o sin_n and_o exhort_v
