affection_n in_o meditation_n prayer_n or_o any_o other_o work_n be_v intense_a we_o use_v to_o say_v when_o the_o candle_n burn_v the_o mouse_n do_v not_o nibble_n but_o when_o the_o candle_n be_v out_o than_o the_o mouse_n nibble_v when_o our_o heart_n be_v warm_a and_o lively_a in_o prayer_n and_o meditation_n we_o be_v free_a from_o distraction_n the_o mouse_n nibble_v not_o and_o in_o case_n you_o meet_v with_o any_o distraction_n in_o meditation_n or_o other_o duty_n do_v stand_v to_o correct_v your_o heart_n in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o duty_n but_o go_v on_o with_o your_o work_n if_o a_o woman_n carry_v a_o child_n abroad_o among_o friend_n and_o the_o child_n cry_v and_o make_v a_o disturbance_n the_o mother_n do_v then_o correct_v the_o child_n there_o but_o call_v the_o child_n to_o a_o account_n when_o she_o come_v at_o home_n for_o say_v she_o else_o will_v my_o correction_n be_v a_o further_a disturbance_n to_o the_o company_n so_o here_o when_o you_o meet_v with_o distraction_n in_o duty_n if_o you_o call_v your_o heart_n to_o a_o account_n then_o it_o will_v be_v a_o further_a disturbance_n but_o on_o with_o your_o present_a duty_n correct_v afterward_o and_o thus_o shall_v your_o heart_n be_v the_o more_o fix_v and_o fixation_n of_o heart_n be_v a_o great_a help_n to_o meditation_n 4._o if_o you_o will_v indeed_o meditate_v on_o god_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n be_v sure_a that_o you_o lay_v out_o such_o object_n as_o may_v give_v entertainment_n to_o your_o thought_n for_o if_o there_o be_v no_o corn_n in_o the_o quern_n what_o grind_v will_v there_o be_v have_v therefore_o object_n lay_v out_o to_o exercise_v your_o thought_n withal_o upon_o all_o occasion_n and_o so_o when_o you_o have_v any_o spare_a time_n your_o object_n lie_v by_o you_o will_v be_v present_o upon_o the_o work_n of_o meditation_n only_o let_v those_o object_n be_v such_o as_o be_v draw_v allure_a thought-begetting_a object_n and_o thought-entertaining_a object_n but_o then_o 5._o if_o you_o will_v meditate_v on_o god_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n strengthen_v your_o love_n and_o delight_n for_o meditation_n grow_v upon_o the_o stalk_n of_o love_n man_n can_v extend_v his_o thought_n beyond_o his_o power_n to_o practice_n so_o by_o meditation_n on_o god_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n a_o man_n may_v extend_v his_o thought_n concern_v glorious_a within_o her_o garment_n be_v of_o wrought_a gold_n vers_n 13._o her_o clothing_n be_v of_o wrought_a gold_n be_v not_o that_o glorious_a clothe_v be_v outward_a but_o say_v he_o she_o be_v unkind_o must_v god_n take_v this_o at_o our_o hand_n it_o be_v a_o sleight_n if_o a_o man_n speak_v unto_o you_o and_o you_o do_v think_v of_o what_o he_o speak_v it_o be_v a_o sleight_n to_o he_o so_o to_o read_v what_o god_n say_v or_o see_v what_o god_n do_v and_o not_o think_v on_o it_o not_o to_o meditate_v on_o it_o what_o be_v this_o but_o a_o sleight_n unto_o god_n respect_n and_o because_o you_o think_v not_o of_o he_o he_o will_v not_o think_v of_o you_o but_o to_o end_v all_o god_n know_v and_o your_o own_o soul_n know_v how_o you_o have_v lie_v muse_v in_o the_o way_n of_o sin_n how_o some_o time_n you_o have_v lie_v devise_v mischief_n upon_o your_o bed_n how_o often_o you_o have_v chew_v the_o devil_n cud_n what_o swarm_v of_o unclean_a thought_n of_o proud_a thought_n of_o unbelieve_a thought_n have_v possess_v your_o heart_n oh_o friend_n shall_v we_o lie_v muse_v upon_o our_o bed_n in_o a_o way_n of_o sin_n and_o shall_v we_o not_o think_v and_o muse_v
