they_o shall_v never_o be_v remove_v from_o god_n favour_n they_o shall_v never_o be_v remove_v from_o the_o constant_a grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o their_o soul_n or_o hurtful_o in_o the_o way_n of_o a_o curse_n from_o outward_a good_a estate_n nor_o unreasonable_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o the_o earth_n now_o because_o some_o of_o these_o judgment_n seem_v sometime_o to_o fall_v on_o some_o righteous_a person_n who_o for_o a_o season_n be_v separate_v from_o the_o comfortable_a sight_n of_o god_n kindness_n and_o favour_n towards_o they_o and_o their_o estate_n in_o appearance_n be_v whole_o ruinate_v therefore_o the_o word_n do_v well_o bear_v it_o agree_v with_o that_o of_o solomon_n that_o the_o righteous_a shall_v not_o be_v remove_v for_o ever_o though_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v cast_v down_o for_o a_o time_n yet_o they_o shall_v be_v restore_v again_o therefore_o godly_a man_n must_v needs_o be_v in_o safety_n because_o they_o be_v god_n child_n who_o he_o in_o christ_n have_v beget_v to_o himself_o by_o the_o immortal_a seed_n of_o the_o word_n we_o see_v here_o the_o constancy_n of_o god_n child_n child_n the_o constancy_n of_o god_n child_n no_o wind_n of_o tempration_n can_v remove_v or_o overthrow_v they_o they_o be_v like_o rock_n in_o the_o sea_n endure_v every_o wave_n like_o tree_n plant_v by_o the_o river_n side_n god_n own_o plantation_n they_o may_v be_v shake_v but_o not_o overturn_v they_o abide_v root_v and_o establish_v by_o the_o lord_n such_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o faith_n that_o it_o carry_v we_o out_o of_o ourselves_o into_o the_o lord_n and_o make_v we_o lean_a upon_o he_o rest_n in_o he_o and_o live_v in_o he_o they_o who_o abide_v in_o themselves_o rest_v in_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v in_o they_o either_o wisdom_n strength_n or_o merit_n shall_v be_v find_v to_o have_v build_v their_o house_n on_o the_o sand_n which_o will_v not_o continue_v but_o such_o as_o go_v out_o of_o themselves_o and_o trust_v in_o the_o lord_n have_v build_v their_o house_n on_o the_o rock_n that_o shall_v never_o fail_v they_o therefore_o cleave_v you_o fast_o unto_o he_o and_o fear_v not_o be_v of_o good_a comfort_n though_o other_o be_v curse_a yet_o you_o shall_v be_v bless_v for_o you_o see_v the_o difference_n of_o be_v religious_a and_o be_v profane_a of_o love_a christ_n &_o loathe_v he_o &_o this_o difference_n here_o will_v make_v a_o fearful_a difference_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v when_o no_o man_n can_v help_v it_o have_v he_o the_o treasure_n of_o all_o the_o earth_n to_o purchase_v his_o ease_n with_o all_o and_o therefore_o remember_v yourselves_o betimes_o &_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n with_o all_o your_o heart_n &_o serve_v he_o in_o holiness_n &_o righteousness_n all_o the_o day_n of_o your_o life_n that_o so_o you_o may_v be_v bless_v both_o here_o in_o this_o world_n and_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v first_o this_o may_v seem_v to_o reprove_v that_o curse_a yet_o common_a opinion_n of_o the_o world_n namely_o that_o of_o all_o man_n the_o godly_a man_n be_v most_o miserable_a we_o see_v here_o the_o lord_n himself_o do_v proclaim_v from_o heaven_n that_o he_o account_v the_o godly_a man_n and_o he_o that_o trust_v in_o the_o lord_n a_o bless_a and_o happy_a man_n but_o yet_o the_o world_n that_o be_v the_o wicked_a man_n in_o the_o world_n judge_n and_o deem_v the_o godly_a man_n wretched_a and_o miserable_a such_o a_o man_n as_o true_o fear_v god_n hate_v all_o iniquity_n dislike_v lewd_a company_n make_v conscience_n of_o good_a duty_n as_o to_o pray_v in_o his_o family_n to_o instruct_v his_o servant_n and_o child_n be_v diligent_a and_o careful_a to_o frequent_v sermon_n this_o man_n be_v a_o owl_n among_o bird_n whoot_v at_o and_o point_a at_o and_o of_o all_o man_n he_o most_o contemn_a but_o as_o paul_n say_v thus_o it_o must_v be_v we_o be_v bring_v upon_o the_o stage_n we_o be_v make_v a_o gazing-stocke_n to_o wicked_a man_n and_o account_v as_o dung_n for_o christ_n sake_n second_o this_o may_v serve_v to_o stop_v their_o mouth_n that_o say_v and_o think_v it_o be_v in_o vain_a to_o serve_v the_o lord_n that_o it_o be_v lose_v labour_n to_o be_v religious_a that_o there_o be_v no_o good_a get_v by_o hear_v of_o sermon_n and_o lead_v of_o a_o godly_a life_n it_o be_v and_o ever_o have_v be_v the_o curse_a thought_n of_o man_n heart_n to_o think_v so_o as_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o prophet_n malachy_n 3.14_o mal._n 3.14_o it_o be_v lose_v labour_n to_o serve_v the_o lord_n and_o what_o good_a come_v there_o by_o serve_v of_o god_n so_o in_o these_o day_n it_o be_v clear_a man_n think_v it_o be_v in_o vain_a to_o be_v religious_a to_o live_v godly_a and_o in_o all_o thing_n to_o labour_n to_o keep_v faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n before_o god_n and_o man_n but_o it_o be_v manifest_a here_o that_o it_o be_v not_o in_o vain_a to_o serve_v god_n nay_o it_o be_v that_o alone_a that_o bring_v a_o man_n to_o happiness_n and_o true_a comfort_n here_o and_o eternal_a measure_n of_o glory_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v &_o withal_o this_o may_v serve_v to_o comfort_v every_o child_n of_o god_n against_o all_o the_o discouragement_n of_o the_o world_n by_o satan_n &_o his_o curse_a instrument_n namely_o that_o whatsoever_o thy_o estate_n be_v 1._o heb._n 11.24.12.23_o psal_n 125._o verse_n 1._o world_n be_v it_o not_o to_o come_v to_o a_o more_o full_a sense_n &_o fruition_n of_o it_o where_o he_o add_v from_o henceforth_o and_o for_o ever_o by_o rhese_fw-mi word_n he_o show_v that_o this_o vigilancy_n of_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n over_o we_o be_v not_o temporal_a but_o eternal_a according_a to_o that_o which_o he_o say_v before_o in_o the_o first_o verse_n of_o this_o psalm_n they_o shall_v remain_v for_o ever_o let_v we_o learn_v therefore_o out_o of_o this_o psalm_n that_o our_o constancy_n and_o perseurance_n consist_v in_o this_o that_o we_o be_v defend_v by_o the_o power_n and_o providence_n of_o the_o lord_n on_o every_o side_n verse_n 3._o for_o the_o rod_n of_o the_o ungodly_a come_v not_o into_o the_o lot_n of_o the_o righteous_a lest_o the_o righteous_a put_v hold_n so_o that_o now_o although_o our_o good_n our_o wife_n our_o child_n yea_o our_o life_n also_o be_v take_v from_o we_o yet_o we_o shall_v never_o be_v spoil_v of_o our_o christ_n by_o who_o we_o be_v so_o sure_o defend_v that_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o all_o our_o tentation_n he_o will_v make_v a_o way_n for_o we_o to_o escape_v or_o else_o give_v we_o strength_n to_o bear_v they_o god_n and_o there_o rest_n be_v a_o right_n divine_a yea_o he_o that_o be_v ignorant_a hereof_o in_o true_a divinity_n know_v nothing_o at_o all_o for_o what_o know_v he_o which_o be_v ignorant_a that_o god_n be_v such_o a_o god_n as_o will_v not_o suffer_v the_o godly_a to_o be_v oppress_v of_o the_o wicked_a for_o see_v he_o have_v say_v i_o be_o the_o lord_n thy_o god_n he_o will_v never_o suffer_v that_o which_o be_v his_o own_o to_o be_v wrest_v either_o by_o the_o world_n or_o by_o the_o gate_n of_o hell_n out_o of_o his_o hand_n if_o he_o then_o abide_v and_o continue_v they_o shall_v also_o continue_v for_o ever_o which_o be_v he_o thus_o to_o believe_v and_o thus_o to_o lay_v hold_n on_o thing_n invisible_a be_v true_a divinity_n and_o true_a spiritual_a wisdom_n indeed_o infirmity_n do_v some_o time_n offend_v here_o be_v matter_n of_o great_a comfort_n to_o the_o child_n of_o god_n that_o fall_v of_o weakness_n and_o infirmity_n into_o the_o same_o sin_n after_o repentance_n and_o such_o be_v the_o depth_n of_o satan_n temptation_n that_o he_o tell_v they_o that_o the_o child_n of_o god_n fall_v not_o into_o the_o same_o sin_n again_o after_o their_o repentance_n if_o they_o do_v he_o tell_v they_o that_o there_o be_v no_o place_n for_o a_o second_o repentance_n but_o this_o be_v false_a for_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n be_v without_o limitation_n of_o time_n or_o consideration_n of_o sin_n or_o respect_n of_o person_n he_o will_v receive_v to_o mercy_n all_o repentant_a sinner_n whether_o their_o sin_n be_v commit_v before_o or_o after_o repentance_n whither_o once_o or_o often_o so_o that_o they_o renew_v their_o repentance_n according_a as_o they_o have_v sin_v anew_o this_o pardon_n christ_n himself_o publish_v come_v unto_o i_o all_o you_o that_o be_v weary_a and_o heavy_a lade_v and_o i_o will_v refresh_v you_o 11.28_o mat._n 11.28_o yea_o the_o lord_n injoin_v we_o sinful_a man_n to_o forgive_v our_o brother_n seaventie_o and_o sad_a yea_o full_a of_o sorrow_n and_o perplexity_n even_o as_o a_o man_n in_o a_o ague_n sometime_o sick_a and_o sometime_o well_o and_o as_o it_o be_v with_o tree_n sometime_o winter_n and_o sometime_o summer_n this_o be_v the_o state_n of_o all_o god_n child_n as_o david_n joseph_n hezekias_n job_n etc._n etc._n and_o continual_a experience_n proove_v this_o that_o the_o estate_n of_o god_n child_n ebb_n and_o flow_v have_v their_o change_n when_o as_o they_o walk_v direct_o and_o upright_o with_o god_n than_o they_o have_v peace_n and_o comfort_n but_o when_o that_o they_o start_v aside_o and_o commit_v some_o wicked_a sin_n than_o they_o find_v torment_n of_o conscience_n and_o great_a grief_n of_o mind_n this_o show_v we_o what_o be_v the_o state_n and_o condition_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n in_o this_o life_n he_o be_v not_o so_o here_o sanctify_v as_o that_o he_o feel_v no_o corruption_n of_o sin_n to_o hang_v about_o he_o but_o rather_o such_o a_o one_o as_o feel_v the_o burden_n of_o his_o corruption_n hinder_v he_o in_o this_o his_o course_n of_o christianity_n under_o which_o he_o grievous_o sigh_n and_o groan_n labour_v by_o all_o good_a mean_n to_o be_v disburden_v indeed_o it_o be_v a_o matter_n of_o great_a comfort_n to_o feel_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n as_o faith_n love_n etc._n etc._n but_o no_o child_n of_o god_n can_v always_o feel_v the_o comfort_n of_o grace_n but_o as_o fire_v that_o be_v rake_v up_o in_o the_o ash_n it_o be_v hide_v from_o his_o feel_n for_o a_o time_n but_o at_o the_o length_n it_o will_v break_v out_o again_o to_o his_o great_a joy_n and_o comfort_n well_o see_v this_o be_v the_o state_n of_o god_n child_n here_o they_o find_v great_a peace_n and_o comfort_n sometime_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n let_v we_o not_o be_v to_o much_o discourage_v but_o rather_o when_o as_o by_o our_o fall_n and_o slip_n we_o have_v weaken_v our_o comfort_n let_v we_o entreat_v the_o lord_n to_o renew_v our_o comfort_n again_o let_v we_o do_v as_o a_o poor_a traveller_n who_o if_o he_o miss_v his_o way_n and_o go_v out_o of_o it_o he_o will_v hasten_v into_o it_o again_o and_o trudge_v and_o pluck_v up_o his_o heel_n with_o all_o speed_n to_o recover_v that_o which_o he_o have_v lose_v so_o let_v we_o when_o we_o have_v sin_v and_o go_v out_o of_o the_o way_n make_v haste_n to_o return_v and_o as_o a_o man_n that_o have_v be_v long_o sick_a and_o grow_v feeble_a and_o weak_a will_v use_v all_o mean_n to_o gather_v up_o his_o crumb_n and_o to_o recover_v his_o former_a strength_n again_o so_o let_v commandment_n whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a 50.17_o psal_n 50.17_o when_o a_o man_n have_v a_o purpose_n to_o live_v in_o any_o know_a sin_n it_o be_v a_o fearful_a and_o a_o manifest_a sign_n of_o a_o naughty_a and_o wicked_a heart_n for_o when_o the_o heart_n be_v true_o sanctify_v then_o will_v be_v bring_v this_o right_a spirit_n not_o to_o sin_n in_o any_o thing_n i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o the_o man_n sanctify_v and_o regenerate_v do_v not_o sin_n at_o all_o but_o he_o have_v no_o purpose_n to_o sin_n no_o delight_n in_o sin_n but_o bear_v a_o constant_a purpose_n in_o all_o great_a number_n to_o be_v such_o as_o never_o have_v the_o true_a work_n of_o sanctification_n wrought_v in_o they_o their_o heart_n be_v not_o sanctify_v and_o their_o mind_n be_v not_o renew_v why_o namely_o because_o they_o want_v this_o mark_n and_o fruit_n of_o a_o sanctify_a heart_n for_o though_o they_o hear_v of_o their_o sin_n be_v tell_v of_o they_o and_o the_o fearful_a judgement_n good_a i_o will_v hut_a i_o delight_v in_o the_o law_n of_o the_o lord_n concern_v the_o inner_a man._n this_o be_v paul_n comfort_n and_o this_o be_v the_o comfort_n of_o all_o god_n child_n if_o spirit_n of_o grace_n the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n that_o be_v with_o the_o redemption_n which_o be_v wrought_v by_o christ_n the_o prayer_n of_o the_o faithful_a and_o of_o the_o redeem_a for_o although_o our_o redemption_n be_v full_o wrought_v and_o we_o redeem_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n yet_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o we_o shall_v pray_v for_o this_o redemption_n make_v perfect_a in_o infirmity_n the_o infirmity_n be_v they_o and_o remain_v they_o while_o they_o live_v but_o the_o power_n and_o strength_n be_v christ_n alone_a one_o dram_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o a_o christian_a make_v he_o more_o precious_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o god_n than_o any_o remnant-corruption_n in_o he_o can_v make_v he_o odious_a therefore_o be_v
