distinct_a action_n and_o now_o neighbour_n simon_n i_o beseech_v you_o try_v yourself_o by_o these_o thing_n and_o know_v that_o if_o it_o have_v be_v in_o any_o measure_n thus_o with_o you_o than_o righteous_a course_n of_o life_n that_o so_o you_o may_v have_v a_o ground_n to_o build_v your_o faith_n upon_o that_o be_v upon_o your_o own_o righteousness_n and_o performance_n if_o you_o have_v be_v ignorant_a of_o god_n righteousness_n as_o the_o apostle_n 3._o rom._n 10._o 3._o say_v the_o jew_n be_v and_o have_v go_v about_o to_o establish_v your_o own_o righteousness_n as_o they_o do_v than_o you_o may_v be_v assure_v that_o you_o have_v not_o true_o believe_v on_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n christ_n neither_o be_v you_o justify_v nor_o sanctify_v but_o be_v in_o plain_a term_n a_o mere_a legal_a professor_n sim._n sir_n i_o must_v confess_v that_o i_o have_v not_o heretofore_o be_v acquaint_v with_o these_o thing_n and_o therefore_o i_o can_v true_o say_v that_o i_o have_v do_v the_o pharisee_n luke_n 16._o 15._o you_o be_v they_o which_o justify_v yourselves_o they_o will_v utter_o deny_v it_o as_o you_o do_v but_o to_o tell_v you_o plain_o neighbour_n simon_n your_o speech_n and_o behaviour_n when_o you_o be_v with_o i_o the_o other_o day_n make_v i_o to_o fear_v that_o you_o be_v but_o a_o kind_n of_o a_o pharisaical_a professor_n sure_o in_o your_o crow_n over_o and_o undervalue_v your_o honest_a neighbour_n zacheus_n in_o comparison_n of_o yourself_o you_o do_v too_o near_o resemble_v the_o proud_a pharisee_n crow_v over_o and_o undervalue_v the_o humble_a publican_n luke_n 18._o and_o in_o judge_v of_o he_o to_o be_v unfit_a and_o unworthy_a to_o come_v to_o the_o lord_n table_n you_o do_v too_o near_o resemble_v simon_n the_o pharisee_fw-mi mention_v luke_n the_o 7._o who_o when_o he_o see_v that_o sinful_a yet_o penitent_a and_o believe_a woman_n wash_v our_o saviour_n foot_n with_o her_o tear_n and_o wipe_v they_o with_o the_o hair_n of_o her_o head_n he_o speak_v within_o himself_o say_v this_o man_n if_o he_o be_v a_o prophet_n will_v have_v know_v who_o and_o what_o manner_n of_o woman_n this_o be_v that_o have_v touch_v he_o in_o assure_v yourself_o that_o there_o be_v in_o all_o man_n natural_o this_o frame_n of_o spirit_n never_o to_o come_v to_o christ_n whilst_o they_o have_v any_o hope_n that_o their_o own_o performance_n will_v heal_v they_o &_o therefore_o here_o they_o rest_v until_o they_o see_v it_o bewail_v it_o and_o pray_v against_o it_o and_o therefore_o if_o you_o never_o

unbeliever_n alex._n but_o sir_n though_o i_o be_v as_o i_o have_v confess_v a_o ignorant_a and_o sinful_a man_n yet_o i_o hope_v i_o be_o a_o believe_a man_n for_o all_o that_o min._n no_o no_o my_o member_n rebel_a against_o the_o law_n of_o my_o mind_n and_o bring_v i_o into_o captivity_n to_o the_o law_n of_o sin_n but_o if_o a_o man_n be_v whole_o ignorant_a of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o of_o himself_o and_o of_o the_o sacrament_n as_o for_o aught_o i_o yet_o perceive_v you_o be_v and_o whole_o sinful_a as_o by_o your_o own_o confession_n it_o appear_v you_o be_v than_o it_o be_v impossible_a he_o shall_v have_v true_a faith_n in_o christ_n alex._n but_o sir_n i_o hope_v i_o be_o not_o whole_o ignorant_a of_o jesus_n christ_n nor_o of_o my_o self_n nor_o of_o the_o sacrament_n i_o have_v i_o hope_v i_o shall_v do_v as_o well_o at_o the_o last_o as_o if_o i_o can_v talk_v and_o prate_v more_o min._n i_o but_o whatsoever_o you_o think_v of_o yourself_o and_o whatever_o your_o hope_v there_o be_v no_o cause_n but_o sir_n may_v not_o both_o you_o and_o the_o elder_n be_v deceive_v in_o a_o man_n though_o you_o do_v examine_v he_o either_o in_o think_v a_o man_n have_v faith_n in_o christ_n when_o he_o have_v not_o or_o in_o think_v he_o have_v no_o faith_n when_o he_o have_v min._n yea_o indeed_o i_o think_v it_o be_v possible_a that_o we_o may_v be_v deceive_v
