possible_o be_v deceive_v in_o so_o clear_a a_o matter_n yet_o for_o all_o this_o he_o not_o only_o not_o give_v credit_n unto_o some_o one_o of_o they_o several_o but_o not_o unto_o all_o of_o they_o joint_o be_v so_o many_o and_o so_o credible_a witness_n and_o further_o be_v so_o wilful_a and_o obstinate_a and_o so_o addict_v to_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o feeling_n that_o he_o tell_v they_o believe_v in_o he_o yet_o he_o be_v not_o persuade_v particular_o of_o this_o article_n of_o his_o resurrection_n but_o such_o be_v our_o corruption_n and_o we_o do_v so_o receive_v the_o spirit_n but_o in_o measure_n that_o we_o may_v be_v true_a believer_n in_o many_o particular_n as_o we_o see_v in_o the_o apostle_n here_o who_o believe_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n and_o so_o hold_v the_o main_a point_n of_o salvation_n fail_v in_o the_o particular_a manner_n and_o be_v not_o yet_o persuade_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o his_o resurrection_n but_o for_o all_o this_o we_o be_v not_o to_o account_v he_o as_o a_o infidel_n but_o think_v thus_o with_o ourselves_o if_o such_o a_o man_n as_o he_o be_v subject_a unto_o so_o great_a doubt_n no_o marvel_n then_o if_o i_o in_o many_o particular_n find_v my_o faith_n to_o be_v so_o full_a of_o doubt_v and_o waver_v only_o let_v we_o in_o these_o doubt_n still_o use_v the_o mean_n and_o god_n will_v at_o one_o time_n or_o other_o bless_v some_o of_o they_o unto_o us._n as_o thomas_n here_o not_o believe_v that_o christ_n be_v rise_v though_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o apostle_n do_v tell_v he_o of_o it_o do_v not_o forsake_v their_o company_n but_o come_v into_o their_o assembly_n upon_o the_o lord_n day_n to_o serve_v christ_n with_o they_o and_o then_o christ_n that_o they_o have_v see_v the_o lord_n and_o after_o what_o manner_n even_o with_o the_o print_n of_o the_o nail_n &_o of_o the_o spear_n in_o his_o body_n yet_o he_o so_o disinherit_v all_o of_o they_o that_o he_o will_v believe_v none_o of_o they_o oftentimes_o we_o believe_v mean_a man_n and_o of_o less_o credit_n in_o matter_n of_o great_a uncertentie_n and_o of_o small_a moment_n therefore_o not_o to_o believe_v so_o many_o and_o of_o so_o good_a credit_n and_o in_o a_o thing_n of_o great_a moment_n it_o be_v true_a also_o do_v plain_o show_v how_o deep_o unbelief_n be_v root_v in_o he_o especial_o if_o we_o consider_v how_o he_o further_o add_v that_o if_o there_o be_v never_o so_o many_o more_o of_o they_o let_v they_o be_v what_o they_o will_v be_v that_o shall_v tell_v he_o so_o he_o will_v believe_v none_o of_o they_o but_o his_o own_o self_n and_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o feeling_n for_o uhle_n he_o can_v see_v in_o his_o hand_n the_o print_n of_o the_o thereby_o they_o grow_v in_o many_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n as_o in_o a_o fear_n to_o offend_v he_o and_o in_o a_o desire_n unto_o their_o own_o salvation_n though_o they_o have_v little_a assurance_n sense_n or_o feel_v of_o it_o in_o themselves_o and_o so_o be_v heir_n of_o the_o kingdoâ—â—â—f_n god_n though_o they_o die_v before_o ever_o they_o have_v any_o great_a feel_n of_o it_o in_o themselves_o and_o for_o those_o that_o be_v of_o ripe_a age_n in_o christ_n and_o have_v have_v some_o feel_n of_o their_o salvation_n and_o have_v lose_v it_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v addict_v to_o their_o own_o judgement_n to_o think_v they_o never_o have_v it_o because_o it_o be_v now_o lose_v or_o that_o they_o shall_v never_o have_v it_o again_o because_o it_o be_v take_v from_o they_o for_o a_o while_n for_o the_o life_n of_o god_n may_v still_o be_v in_o they_o though_o the_o present_a feel_n of_o it_o be_v take_v away_o and_o therefore_o at_o this_o time_n concern_v their_o own_o present_a state_n they_o must_v believe_v other_o that_o can_v see_v more_o into_o they_o than_o themselves_o for_o as_o in_o some_o disease_n of_o the_o body_n a_o man_n may_v have_v all_o his_o sense_n take_v away_o from_o he_o for_o a_o while_n or_o he_o may_v be_v so_o sore_o wound_v in_o the_o head_n and_o his_o brain_n so_o distemper_v that_o he_o can_v not_o tell_v whether_o himself_o be_v alive_a or_o dead_a but_o oâ—â—â—rs_n by_o their_o breathe_n and_o some_o 〈◊〉_d operation_n of_o life_n do_v see_v evident_o that_o life_n remain_v in_o they_o and_o so_o hope_v that_o they_o may_v be_v recover_v so_o a_o man_n may_v be_v so_o spiritual_o sick_a of_o unbelief_n or_o so_o sore_o wound_v in_o his_o soul_n with_o temptation_n that_o he_o can_v see_v any_o token_n of_o god_n favour_n in_o himself_o but_o yet_o by_o the_o prayer_n that_o â—e_n make_v unto_o god_n to_o be_v holpen_v â—ut_v of_o these_o distress_n by_o the_o love_n â—hat_n he_o bear_v unto_o god_n and_o to_o god_n people_n and_o other_o operation_n â—f_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o he_o they_o that_o â—re_n wise_a shall_v be_v able_a to_o discern_v that_o â—â—e_z life_n of_o god_n spirit_n covetousness_n of_o these_o worldly_a good_n by_o the_o unsatiable_a desire_n that_o be_v in_o he_o never_o satisfy_v though_o he_o have_v more_o to_o liuâ—_n on_o then_o many_o hundred_o yet_o still_o hâ—_n be_v complain_v of_o his_o want_n and_o poverty_n and_o say_v that_o he_o have_v nothing_o and_o tell_v he_o of_o this_o and_o of_o that_o whicâ—_n god_n have_v bestow_v upon_o he_o yeâ—_n because_o he_o have_v not_o all_o that_o he_o desire_v he_o make_v no_o account_n of_o theâ—_n and_o all_o be_v unto_o he_o as_o though_o he_o haâ—â—_n nothing_o so_o he_o that_o be_v sick_a of_o a_o spiritual_a covetousness_n and_o desire_v thâ—_n feel_v of_o god_n favour_n in_o a_o greâ—â—_n measure_n and_o such_o a_o assurance_n of_o his_o salvation_n as_o may_v be_v without_o all_o doubt_n which_o because_o he_o can_v not_o come_v unto_o because_o the_o flesh_n lu_v against_o the_o spirit_n and_o in_o it_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o doubt_v he_o imagine_v that_o because_o there_o be_v some_o want_n of_o assurance_n and_o feeling_n that_o therefore_o there_o be_v no_o feel_n at_o all_o as_o the_o covetous_a man_n by_o reason_n of_o some_o want_n say_v that_o he_o have_v nothing_o the_o want_n of_o that_o which_o he_o have_v not_o so_o blind_v his_o eye_n that_o he_o can_v not_o see_v that_o that_o he_o have_v so_o the_o want_n of_o some_o assurance_n so_o trouble_v they_o and_o they_o have_v so_o great_a a_o desire_n unto_o more_o that_o they_o can_v not_o see_v that_o they_o have_v but_o for_o want_v of_o some_o deny_v all_o a_o remedy_n against_o which_o temptation_n be_v not_o to_o deceive_v ourselves_o any_o long_o with_o a_o imagination_n of_o such_o a_o measure_n of_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n ordinary_o in_o the_o child_n of_o god_n which_o shall_v be_v without_o all_o waver_a or_o doubt_v or_o such_o a_o measure_n of_o feel_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o joy_n therein_o as_o shall_v abandon_v all_o distrustfulnes_n and_o sorrow_n this_o be_v not_o to_o be_v look_v for_o in_o this_o world_n 16.11_o psal_n 16.11_o the_o fullness_n of_o joy_n be_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o at_o his_o right_a hand_n only_o be_v
