repentance_n which_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o but_o the_o devil_n may_v have_v a_o inward_a remor_n and_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n in_o regard_n of_o those_o evil_n that_o for_o it_o have_v befall_v they_o be_v justify_v though_o not_o for_o the_o work_n but_o for_o the_o object_n of_o it_o as_o hereafter_o shall_v be_v show_v as_o to_o say_v the_o devil_n have_v or_o may_v have_v that_o kind_o have_v can_v be_v justify_v faith_n nor_o the_o faith_n speak_v of_o by_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o place_n but_o this_o beleif_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o christ_n be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n the_o saviour_n and_o redeemer_n of_o mankind_n some_o have_v have_v have_v know_v and_o believe_v it_o who_o yet_o coutinue_v still_o wicked_a ungodlie_a irregenerate_a unsanctified_a and_o this_o can_v therefore_o consequent_o be_v the_o faith_n here_o speak_v of_o for_o the_o proof_n of_o the_o proposition_n i_o shall_v not_o so_o much_o insist_v or_o rest_v upon_o the_o necessary_a conjunction_n of_o this_o faith_n and_o repentance_n the_o one_o with_o the_o other_o in_o regard_n of_o god_n ordinance_n and_o though_o by_o mean_n of_o his_o appointment_n there_o be_v a_o necessary_a connection_n of_o justification_n and_o sanctification_n 1._o which_o as_o some_o of_o the_o schoolman_n have_v observe_v may_v otherwise_o have_v be_v sever_v so_o that_o justification_n may_v have_v be_v where_o sanctification_n be_v not_o have_v god_n be_v please_v so_o to_o dispose_v it_o and_o sanctification_n may_v have_v be_v without_o justification_n if_o god_n have_v restore_v our_o first_o parent_n to_o their_o original_a condition_n 8._o free_o remit_v their_o offence_n without_o any_o satisfaction_n as_o by_o his_o absolute_a power_n he_o may_v have_v do_v for_o i_o dare_v not_o say_v as_o some_o do_v that_o god_n may_v not_o as_o well_o without_o breach_n of_o his_o justice_n remit_v a_o wrong_n do_v he_o by_o his_o creature_n and_o vassal_n as_o a_o man_n may_v
