object_n as_o offer_v election_n consider_v it_o as_o propound_v with_o some_o other_o competitor_n consent_n consider_v it_o as_o we_o be_v persuade_v and_o invite_v to_o it_o but_o all_o these_o be_v extrinsecall_v consideration_n they_o all_o consider_v their_o object_n as_o good_a and_o so_o do_v love_n you_o may_v object_v 1._o then_o desire_v and_o hope_n may_v be_v essential_a to_o faith_n i_o answ._n that_o love_n which_o they_o imply_v in_o they_o be_v but_o desire_v and_o hope_n as_o such_o do_v proper_o consider_v their_o object_n as_o absent_v which_o this_o justifi_a distinguish_v of_o love_n as_o it_o be_v consider_v by_o itself_o and_o as_o it_o be_v a_o essential_a part_n of_o this_o acceptance_n love_n respect_v its_o object_n mere_o as_o good_a in_o itself_o and_o to_o the_o lover_n but_o consent_n and_o acceptance_n have_v several_a other_o respect_n as_o be_v express_v and_o yet_o there_o may_v be_v love_n in_o all_o such_o acceptance_n though_o not_o proper_o acceptance_n in_o all_o love_n object_n 3._o then_o love_n justify_v as_o well_o as_o faith_n i_o answ._n when_o it_o be_v thus_o consider_v in_o faith_n acceptance_n it_o be_v not_o call_v not_o your_o own_o when_o you_o be_v bind_v to_o love_v they_o but_o as_o yourself_o sure_o if_o you_o may_v not_o make_v the_o obtain_n of_o life_n the_o end_n of_o your_o labour_n and_o duty_n you_o may_v not_o make_v it_o the_o end_n of_o your_o prayer_n which_o be_v part_n of_o your_o labour_n and_o duty_n and_o indeed_o according_a to_o the_o opinion_n which_o i_o oppose_v it_o must_v needs_o follow_v that_o petition_n be_v to_o be_v lay_v aside_o and_o no_o part_n of_o prayer_n lawful_a but_o praise_n and_o thanksgiving_n 4._o do_v you_o not_o forget_v to_o make_v a_o difference_n betwixt_o earth_n and_o heaven_n i_o assure_v you_o if_o you_o do_v it_o will_v prove_v a_o foul_a mistake_n if_o you_o once_o begin_v to_o think_v you_o be_v in_o heaven_n and_o as_o you_o will_v first_o fruit_n of_o heaven_n and_o yet_o think_v it_o unlawful_a to_o labour_v for_o the_o full_a everlasting_a possession_n how_o can_v these_o hang_v together_o 7_o consider_v serious_o i_o pray_v you_o to_o what_o end_n god_n implant_v such_o affection_n and_o power_n in_o your_o soul._n why_o do_v he_o create_v in_o you_o a_o power_n and_o propensity_n to_o intend_v the_o ultimate_a end_n in_o all_o your_o endeavour_n to_o value_v that_o end_n to_o love_v it_o desire_v it_o study_n and_o care_n how_o to_o obtain_v it_o to_o fear_v the_o loss_n of_o it_o and_o to_o loathe_v all_o that_o resist_v your_o fruition_n to_o seek_v and_o labour_v after_o its_o enjoyment_n why_o be_v the_o love_n of_o ourselves_o and_o desire_v of_o our_o preservation_n so_o natural_a sure_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o you_o to_o care_n and_o desire_n and_o labour_n for_o god_n in_o heaven_n or_o for_o nothing_o and_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o fear_v the_o loss_n of_o this_o or_o to_o fear_v no_o evil_a at_o all_o and_o i_o can_v hardly_o think_v that_o god_n will_v create_v such_o power_n in_o the_o soul_n which_o shall_v be_v utter_o useless_a then_o let_v we_o no_o more_o cry_v down_o the_o abuse_n of_o our_o affection_n and_o power_n but_o the_o use_n of_o they_o and_o so_o turn_v worse_o than_o stoic_n this_o be_v such_o a_o make_v god_n the_o author_n of_o sin_n as_o few_o man_n
