thou_o have_v many_o trouble_n and_o be_v prove_v with_o many_o contrarious_a thing_n in_o this_o world_n and_o if_o thou_o say_v thou_o may_v not_o suffer_v such_o thing_n how_o shall_v thou_o then_o suffer_v the_o fire_n of_o purgatory_n of_o two_o evil_n the_o less_o evil_a be_v to_o be_v take_v suffer_v therefore_o patient_o the_o little_a pain_n of_o this_o world_n that_o thou_o may_v hereafter_o escape_v the_o great_a in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v trow_v thou_o that_o worldly_a man_n suffer_v little_a or_o nothing_o yes_o true_o thou_o shall_v find_v none_o without_o some_o trouble_n though_o thou_o seek_v the_o most_o delicate_a person_n that_o be_v but_o percase_o thou_o say_v to_o i_o again_o they_o have_v many_o delectation_n &_o follow_v their_o own_o pleasure_n pleasure_n receive_v they_o after_o great_a trouble_n and_o pain_n &_o righteous_o come_v that_o unto_o they_o that_o forasmuch_o as_o they_o seek_v delectation_n and_o pleasure_n inordinatelye_a of_o this_o world_n soothlye_a for_o dronkenship_n and_o blindness_n of_o heart_n the_o worldly_a people_n perceive_v it_o not_o nor_o will_v not_o perceive_v it_o but_o as_o dumb_a beast_n for_o a_o little_a pleasure_n of_o this_o corruptible_a life_n they_o run_v headlong_o into_o everlasting_a death_n therefore_o my_o son_n go_v not_o after_o thy_o concupiscence_n but_o turn_v thou_o light_o from_o thy_o own_o wil._n delight_n thou_o in_o god_n and_o fix_v thy_o love_n strong_o in_o he_o and_o he_o shall_v geve_v thou_o the_o ask_n of_o thy_o heart_n and_o if_o thou_o will_v have_v consolation_n abundant_o and_o will_v receive_v the_o soothfast_a comfort_n that_o come_v of_o god_n dispose_v thyself_o ful_o to_o despise_v this_o world_n and_o put_v from_o thou_o whole_o all_o inordinate_a delectation_n and_o thou_o shall_v have_v plenteous_o the_o comfort_n of_o god_n and_o the_o more_o that_o thou_o with_o draw_v thou_o from_o the_o consolation_n of_o all_o creature_n the_o more_o sweet_a &_o bless_a consolation_n shall_v thou_o receive_v of_o thy_o creatoure_n but_o soothlye_a thou_o can_v not_o at_o the_o first_o come_v to_o such_o consolation_n but_o with_o heaviness_n and_o labour_n goinge_v before_o thy_o old_a custom_n will_v somewhat_o withstand_v thou_o but_o with_o a_o better_a custom_n it_o may_v be_v overcome_v the_o flesh_n will_v murmur_v against_o thou_o but_o with_o fervour_n of_o spirit_n it_o shall_v be_v restrain_v the_o old_a ancient_a enemy_n thou_o friend_n will_v ●et_v thou_o if_o he_o can_v but_o with_o devout_a prayer_n he_o shall_v be_v drive_v away_o and_o with_o good_a bodilye_o and_o ghostlye_o labour_v his_o way_n be_v stop_v so_o that_o he_o shall_v not_o dare_v come_v nigh_o unto_o thou_o of_o the_o obedience_n to_o say_v in_o fleshly_a pleasure_n wherefore_o it_o may_v be_v well_o say_v and_o verify_v that_o there_o be_v no_o holiness_n nor_o goodness_n in_o we_o if_o thou_o with_o draw_v thy_o hand_n of_o mercy_n from_o we_o nor_o that_o no_o wisdom_n may_v avayle_v we_o if_o thou_o lord_n govern_v it_o not_o nor_o any_o strength_n help_n if_o thou_o cease_v to_o preserve_v we_o no_o sure_a chastity_n can_v be_v if_o thou_o lord_n defend_v it_o not_o nor_o any_o sure_a keep_n may_v profit_v we_o if_o thy_o holy_a watchfulness_n be_v not_o present_a for_o if_o we_o be_v forsake_v of_o thou_o anon_o we_o be_v cold_a and_o dull_a but_o if_o by_o thou_o we_o be_v stir_v to_o feruoure_v of_o spirit_n o_o how_o meek_o and_o abject_o ought_v i_o therefore_o to_o judge_v of_o myself_o &_o how_o much_o ought_v i_o in_o my_o heart_n to_o despise_v myself_o though_o i_o be_v hold_v never_o so_o good_a and_o holy_a in_o sight_n of_o the_o world_n and_o how_o profound_o ought_v i_o to_o submit_v i_o to_o thy_o deep_a and_o profound_a judgement_n since_o i_o find_v in_o myself_o nothing_o else_o but_o naught_o and_o naught_o o_o substance_n that_o may_v not_o be_v ponder_v o_o sea_n that_o may_v not_o be_v sail_v in_o thou_o and_o by_o thou_o i_o find_v that_o my_o substance_n be_v nothing_o and_o over_o all_o naught_o where_o be_v now_o the_o shadow_n of_o this_o worldly_a glory_n and_o where_o be_v the_o trust_n that_o i_o have_v in_o it_o true_o it_o be_v vanish_v away_o through_o the_o deepens_n of_o thy_o secret_a and_o hide_v judgemente_n upon_o i_o what_o be_v flesh_n in_o thy_o sight_n how_o may_v clay_n glorifye_v himself_o against_o his_o maker_n how_o may_v he_o be_v deceive_v with_o vain_a praise_n who_o heart_n in_o truth_n be_v subject_a to_o god_n all_o the_o world_n may_v not_o lift_v he_o up_o into_o pride_n who_o truth_n that_o god_n be_v have_v perfect_o make_v subject_n unto_o he_o nor_o he_o may_v not_o be_v deceive_v with_o any_o flatter_a that_o put_v his_o whole_a trust_n in_o god_n for_o he_o see_v well_o that_o they_o that_o speak_v be_v vain_a and_o nought_o and_o that_o they_o shall_v short_o fail_v with_o the_o sound_n of_o word_n but_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n always_o abide_v how_o a_o man_n shall_v order_v himself_o in_o his_o desire_n the_o .16_o chapter_n my_o son_n say_v our_o saviour_n christ_n thus_o shall_v thou_o say_v in_o judge_v whether_o a_o good_a spirit_n or_o a_o evil_a move_v thou_o to_o this_o thing_n or_o to_o that_o or_o whether_o thou_o be_v move_v of_o thy_o own_o spirit_n many_o be_v deceve_v in_o the_o end_n which_o first_o seem_v to_o have_v be_v move_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n therefore_o with_o dread_n of_o god_n and_o with_o meekness_n of_o heart_n it_o be_v to_o desire_v and_o ask_v whatsoever_o come_v to_o our_o mind_n to_o be_v desire_v and_o ask_v and_o with_o a_o whole_a forsake_v of_o ourself_o to_o commit_v all_o thing_n to_o god_n and_o to_o say_v thus_o lord_n thou_o know_v what_o thing_n be_v to_o i_o most_o profitable_a do_v this_o or_o that_o after_o thy_o will_n geve_v i_o what_o thou_o will_v much_o as_n thou_o will_v and_o when_o thou_o will_v do_v with_o i_o as_o thou_o know_v best_a to_o be_v do_v and_o as_o it_o shall_v please_v thou_o and_o as_o shall_v be_v most_o to_o thy_o honour_n put_v i_o where_o thou_o will_v and_o free_o do_v with_o i_o but_o for_o thy_o own_o deed_n thou_o must_v needy_o answer_v why_o then_o do_v thou_o meddle_v where_o it_o need_v not_o i_o see_v and_o know_v every_o man_n and_o every_o thing_n under_o the_o sun_n i_o see_v and_o behold_v and_o how_o it_o be_v with_o every_o person_n what_o he_o think_v what_o he_o will_v and_o to_o what_o end_n his_o work_n draw_v be_v open_a to_o i_o and_o therefore_o all_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v refer_v to_o i_o keep_v thyself_o always_o in_o good_a peace_n and_o suffer_v he_o that_o will_v always_o search_v another_o man_n life_n be_v as_o busy_a as_o he_o will_v and_o in_o the_o end_n shall_v fall_v upon_o he_o as_o he_o have_v do_v and_o say_v for_o he_o can_v not_o deceive_v i_o whatsoever_o he_o be_v if_o thou_o admonish_v any_o person_n for_o his_o soul_n health_n look_v thou_o do_v it_o not_o to_o get_v the_o thereby_o any_o name_n or_o fame_n in_o the_o world_n nor_o to_o have_v the_o familiarity_n or_o pryvate_a love_n of_o any_o person_n for_o such_o thing_n cause_v much_o unquietnes_n of_o mind_n and_o will_v make_v thou_o also_o to_o lose_v the_o reward_n that_o thou_o shall_v have_v of_o god_n and_o will_v bring_v great_a darkness_n into_o thy_o soul_n i_o will_v glad_o speak_v to_o thou_o my_o word_n &_o open_v to_o thou_o the_o secret_a mystery_n of_o fraternal_a correction_n if_o thou_o will_v prepare_v thy_o soul_n ready_a against_o my_o come_n and_o that_o thou_o will_v open_v the_o mouth_n of_o thy_o heart_n faithful_o to_o i_o be_v thou_o provident_a wake_v diligent_o in_o prayer_n humble_v thyself_o in_o every_o thing_n and_o thou_o shall_v find_v great_a comfort_n in_o god_n and_o little_a resistance_n in_o thy_o even_a christian_a in_o what_o thing_n the_o peace_n of_o heart_n and_o great_a profit_n of_o meddle_v with_o thing_n that_o perteine_v not_o to_o thou_o if_o thou_o do_v thus_o it_o may_v be_v that_o thou_o shall_v little_a or_o seldom_o be_v trouble_v but_o nevertheless_o to_o feel_v at_o no_o time_n any_o manner_n of_o trouble_n nor_o to_o suffer_v any_o heaviness_n in_o body_n nor_o in_o soul_n be_v not_o the_o state_n of_o this_o life_n but_o of_o the_o life_n to_o come_v think_v
