lazy_a and_o lax_n and_o remiss_a manner_n as_o you_o be_v wont_a to_o do_v but_o will_v take_v it_o violent_o and_o if_o you_o come_v to_o god_n after_o this_o manner_n if_o you_o be_v drive_v out_o of_o yourselves_o and_o see_v what_o your_o own_o righteousness_n be_v that_o it_o will_v not_o serve_v your_o turn_n and_o therefore_o seek_v for_o a_o righteousness_n at_o his_o hand_n you_o may_v be_v sure_a he_o will_v not_o deny_v you_o you_o may_v see_v what_o paul_n say_v galat._n 3.8_o that_o you_o may_v be_v assure_v that_o seek_v you_o shall_v obtain_v say_v he_o if_o a_o angel_n from_o be_v this_o there_o be_v a_o revelation_n of_o wrath_n against_o all_o unrighteousness_n of_o man_n 2._o man_n and_o that_o be_v another_o thing_n that_o will_v humble_v we_o for_o there_o must_v be_v two_o thing_n to_o do_v it_o one_o be_v to_o see_v our_o sin_n to_o know_v that_o there_o be_v no_o worth_n no_o excellency_n no_o worthiness_n at_o all_o in_o we_o and_o the_o second_o be_v to_o have_v a_o apprehension_n of_o wrath_n due_a for_o sin_n and_o so_o his_o misery_n under_o the_o same_o though_o a_o man_n be_v never_o so_o miserable_a yet_o if_o he_o have_v a_o bottom_n to_o stand_v on_o he_o will_v not_o go_v to_o christ_n but_o when_o he_o see_v his_o own_o nothingnesse_n and_o withal_o that_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n hang_v over_o he_o so_o that_o he_o must_v sink_v utter_o and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o way_n to_o help_v he_o when_o both_o these_o concur_v a_o man_n be_v humble_v man_n may_v have_v one_o without_o the_o other_o as_o the_o scribe_n and_o pharisee_n o_o you_o generation_n of_o viper_n who_o have_v warn_v you_o to_o fly_v from_o the_o wrath_n to_o come_v they_o be_v sensible_a of_o wrath_n and_o have_v so_o much_o to_o humble_v they_o to_o show_v that_o the_o sin_n be_v great_a again_o one_o evidence_n more_o be_v in_o this_o very_a chapter_n that_o be_v from_o the_o kind_n of_o punishment_n for_o punishment_n you_o know_v where_o in_o a_o frenzy_n so_o these_o shall_v wake_v in_o a_o horrible_a astonishment_n their_o sleep_n be_v such_o a_o calm_a as_o will_v end_v in_o a_o tempest_n and_o such_o a_o tempest_n as_o shall_v never_o be_v blow_v over_o therefore_o let_v no_o man_n bless_v himself_o in_o this_o i_o feel_v none_o of_o these_o thing_n for_o thou_o have_v the_o great_a judgement_n on_o thou_o when_o thou_o which_o we_o pitch_v on_o these_o word_n and_o that_o be_v to_o humble_v we_o to_o learn_v to_o know_v ourselves_o to_o know_v in_o what_o condition_n we_o be_v for_o the_o truth_n be_v reveal_v to_o we_o but_o we_o withhold_v it_o in_o unrighteousness_n this_o truth_n that_o shall_v rule_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n that_o shall_v be_v as_o the_o supreme_a governor_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o which_o it_o may_v be_v say_v as_o it_o be_v say_v of_o the_o peace_n of_o god_n let_v it_o rule_v in_o your_o soul_n that_o where_o by_o man_n shall_v be_v act_v be_v by_o man_n imprison_v therefore_o rom._n 2.9_o the_o apostle_n denounce_v tribulation_n and_o anguish_n upon_o every_o one_o that_o disobeye_n the_o truth_n intimate_v that_o truth_n be_v our_o king_n that_o shall_v govern_v and_o rule_v in_o our_o heart_n now_o when_o man_n disobey_v it_o nay_o go_v further_o imprison_v this_o truth_n it_o be_v as_o when_o man_n imprison_v their_o lawful_a king_n or_o servant_n to_o be_v rid_v of_o it_o because_o it_o watch_v over_o we_o and_o so_o we_o grow_v enemy_n to_o it_o and_o this_o be_v no_o small_a sin_n for_o if_o we_o consider_v whence_o this_o come_v who_o put_v it_o into_o our_o heart_n it_o will_v appear_v heinous_a by_o the_o law_n of_o man_n it_o be_v death_n to_o kill_v child_n that_o be_v beget_v by_o man_n but_o this_o truth_n be_v beget_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n it_o be_v put_v in_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o to_o extinguish_v this_o truth_n not_o to_o suffer_v it_o to_o live_v not_o to_o nourish_v it_o not_o to_o bring_v it_o forth_o be_v the_o great_a sin_n of_o all_o even_o the_o heathen_a shall_v rise_v in_o judgement_n against_o christian_n for_o this_o who_o maintain_v the_o vestal_a fire_n because_o they_o conceive_v it_o to_o come_v from_o heaven_n they_o for_o that_o cause_n never_o suffer_v it_o to_o go_v out_o but_o this_o truth_n be_v a_o fire_n which_o come_v from_o heaven_n a_o spark_n put_v into_o the_o breast_n of_o man_n to_o guide_v their_o foot_n into_o the_o way_n of_o peace_n when_o man_n shall_v extinguish_v this_o truth_n let_v it_o go_v out_o and_o not_o maintain_v it_o the_o heathen_a chief_a thing_n in_o a_o man_n in_o a_o ship_n a_o wise_a man_n will_v have_v a_o eye_n to_o the_o rudder_n for_o that_o turn_v all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o body_n of_o the_o ship_n of_o all_o thing_n in_o ourselves_o we_o look_v to_o our_o eye_n the_o guide_n of_o the_o body_n so_o we_o shall_v learn_v to_o watch_v and_o be_v tender_a over_o this_o truth_n as_o over_o our_o eye_n for_o the_o one_o be_v the_o light_n but_o of_o this_o life_n the_o other_o be_v the_o light_n of_o the_o soul_n to_o eternal_a life_n in_o micah_n 3.5_o it_o be_v threaten_v as_o a_o great_a judgement_n when_o god_n shall_v turn_v their_o vision_n into_o night_n and_o their_o divination_n into_o darkness_n when_o the_o sun_n shall_v go_v down_o on_o their_o prophet_n and_o the_o day_n shall_v be_v dark_a on_o they_o and_o will_v you_o bring_v this_o judgement_n on_o yourselves_o they_o that_o be_v guilty_a of_o this_o that_o have_v not_o use_v this_o truth_n but_o imprison_v it_o and_o labour_v as_o much_o as_o they_o can_v to_o cause_v the_o sun_n to_o go_v down_o and_o rise_v no_o more_o to_o turn_v the_o day_n into_o night_n let_v they_o consider_v what_o the_o sin_n be_v when_o you_o read_v the_o story_n of_o the_o king_n and_o hear_v they_o say_v to_o the_o prophet_n prophesy_v not_o imprison_v they_o as_o ahab_n do_v micaiah_n and_o slay_v they_o as_o joash_n do_v zecharial_a you_o will_v little_o think_v you_o be_v guilty_a of_o the_o same_o sin_n but_o when_o this_o truth_n come_v as_o a_o prophet_n from_o god_n and_o tell_v you_o such_o and_o such_o thing_n ought_v to_o be_v do_v and_o such_o and_o such_o evil_n ought_v to_o be_v abstain_v from_o and_o you_o shall_v desire_v it_o to_o be_v silent_a and_o shall_v say_v prophesy_v not_o when_o you_o shall_v not_o unwilling_a to_o examine_v yourselves_o consider_v how_o much_o you_o have_v know_v what_o truth_n have_v be_v reveal_v to_o you_o do_v this_o with_o one_o eye_n with_o another_o eye_n look_v on_o miserable_a it_o but_o see_v not_o their_o misery_n that_o be_v near_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n but_o not_o in_o it_o man_n that_o be_v mere_o civil_a that_o hear_v much_o and_o do_v much_o and_o go_v far_o keep_v their_o light_n burn_v till_o the_o very_a point_n of_o the_o bridegroom_n come_v and_o for_o want_v of_o a_o little_a more_o oil_n be_v exclude_v as_o ananias_n for_o a_o little_a be_v so_o free_a as_o the_o will_n of_o the_o spirit_n he_o breathe_v where_o he_o list_v that_o it_o be_v no_o more_o in_o thou_o to_o alter_v he_o than_o the_o wind_n when_o they_o blow_v to_o the_o east_n can_v thou_o cause_v it_o to_o blow_v to_o the_o west_n no_o more_o can_v thou_o alter_v the_o will_n of_o the_o spirit_n therefore_o take_v heed_n of_o refuse_v the_o offer_n when_o the_o
