from_o their_o own_o merit_n to_o the_o merit_n of_o christ._n exeâ—â—â—ion_n notable_a be_v that_o speech_n of_o stephen_n gardiner_n at_o his_o death_n to_o convince_v it_o who_o have_v be_v a_o great_a persecutor_n and_o be_v much_o perplex_v on_o his_o deathbed_n by_o a_o friend_n of_o his_o visit_v he_o be_v put_v in_o mind_n of_o that_o justification_n which_o be_v by_o the_o mere_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n to_o who_o he_o answer_v you_o may_v tell_v i_o and_o those_o who_o be_v in_o my_o case_n of_o this_o doctrine_n but_o open_v not_o this_o gap_n to_o the_o people_n so_o as_o they_o be_v glad_a to_o entertain_v our_o doctrine_n for_o the_o true_a peace_n of_o their_o conscience_n which_o in_o their_o own_o doctrine_n they_o can_v never_o find_v thus_o have_v we_o show_v in_o part_n that_o faith_n be_v a_o most_o precious_a treasure_n beset_v with_o many_o enemy_n against_o who_o we_o must_v always_o contend_v which_o we_o shall_v yet_o more_o clear_o see_v in_o behold_v the_o use_n of_o this_o treasure_n which_o be_v twofold_a first_o to_o râ—ueilâ—_n from_o god_n unto_o man_n all_o thing_n needful_a unto_o salvation_n concern_v doctrine_n or_o manner_n
