will_n be_v present_a with_o i_o yet_o to_o perform_v be_v not_o in_o my_o power_n sin_n prevail_v and_o death_n through_o sin_n swallow_v i_o up_o so_o that_o i_o rest_n in_o darkness_n of_o sin_n and_o that_o by_o give_v scope_n unto_o my_o own_o perverse_a will_n and_o so_o long_o good_a father_n as_o i_o dwell_v in_o this_o house_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n detain_v downward_n with_o the_o please_a and_o entice_a thing_n thereof_o i_o can_v master_v my_o corrupt_a desire_n i_o can_v bridle_v my_o affection_n but_o in_o steed_n of_o true_a mortification_n i_o break_v out_o into_o such_o too_o fearful_a of_o thy_o judgement_n when_o thou_o know_v that_o all_o and_o every_o the_o least_o conceit_n of_o sin_n break_v into_o action_n in_o what_o covert_a measure_n or_o mean_a degree_n soever_o it_o by_o and_o by_o endaunger_v my_o soul_n and_o
deserve_v sudden_a judgement_n and_o therefore_o let_v it_o please_v thou_o that_o as_o thy_o dear_a son_n through_o thy_o surpass_a love_n have_v reconcile_v all_o such_o unto_o thy_o favour_n again_o that_o be_v true_o penitent_a so_o let_v thy_o holy_a spirit_n continual_o work_v to_o the_o tame_n of_o unbridled_a flesh_n and_o let_v i_o by_o the_o same_o spirit_n never_o leave_v more_o and_o more_o to_o seek_v and_o endeavour_n to_o subdue_v my_o gross_a affection_n until_o i_o come_v to_o a_o true_a and_o absolute_a mortification_n of_o all_o tâ—e_v evil_n that_o rise_v up_o in_o &_o defend_v not_o only_o as_o thing_n tolerable_a but_o as_o thing_n laudable_a oh_o mortify_v therefore_o mortify_v these_o evil_n let_v we_o no_o long_o be_v besot_v with_o y_z e_z filthy_a may_v be_v simple_o ground_v upon_o the_o truth_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n in_o singleness_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o newness_n of_o life_n and_o let_v i_o still_o retain_v this_o in_o memory_n that_o i_o can_v not_o follow_v my_o own_o will_n and_o thy_o word_n i_o may_v not_o impart_v my_o affection_n to_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o the_o work_v of_o the_o spirit_n i_o can_v not_o walk_v in_o darkness_n and_o light_n the_o way_n of_o death_n and_o the_o way_n of_o life_n i_o can_v serve_v thou_o and_o sin_n direct_v i_o therefore_o good_a father_n direct_v i_o in_o my_o haste_n and_o happy_a time_n bid_v all_o this_o trash_n farewell_n you_o high_a and_o low_a of_o dung_n &_o slime_n to_o day_n leave_v of_o to_o swell_v subdue_v you_o pride_n deny_v your_o will_n now_o mortify_v your_o lust_n no_o share_n else_o in_o god_n holy_a hill_n you_o have_v to_o hell_n you_o must_v a_o motion_n to_o prayer_n tend_v to_o the_o obtain_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n it_o have_v please_v almighty_a gâ—d_n in_o great_a measure_n of_o mercy_n to_o call_v we_o home_o unto_o he_o to_o confess_v our_o sin_n which_o although_o they_o be_v great_a &_o many_o yet_o in_o ceremony_n and_o tradition_n invent_v by_o man_n not_o in_o the_o outward_a word_n neither_o in_o whatsoever_o be_v see_v with_o the_o external_a eye_n but_o it_o consist_v in_o spiritual_a feel_n taste_n and_o use_v in_o the_o sincere_a and_o pure_a knowledge_n exercise_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o jesus_n christ_n perform_v the_o will_n of_o god_n here_o in_o earth_n
