thereof_o when_o it_o be_v plain_o preach_v and_o by_o the_o evidence_n of_o the_o spirit_n demonstrate_v unto_o he_o see_v it_o be_v manifest_a by_o the_o scripture_n that_o the_o very_o worst_a of_o natural_a man_n the_o ruler_n scribe_n and_o pharisee_n have_v attain_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o most_o fundamental_a point_n of_o christianity_n under_o which_o the_o whole_a doctrine_n thereof_o be_v comprehend_v as_o 1_o they_o believe_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n 2._o they_o believ_n that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o messiah_n and_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n and_o so_o consequent_o that_o his_o whole_a doctrine_n be_v none_o other_o than_o the_o undoubted_a oracle_n of_o god_n john_n 2.23_o 24_o 25._o john_n 12.42_o 43._o and_o three_o they_o believe_v the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o just_a and_o of_o the_o unjust_a act_v 23.7_o 9_o act_n 24.15_o and_o the_o gospel_n be_v thus_o understand_v by_o man_n they_o be_v thereby_o sufficient_o enable_v to_o the_o obedience_n thereof_o whence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o scripture_n unto_o such_o person_n speak_v on_o this_o wise_a receive_v not_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o vain_a have_v these_o promise_n let_v we_o cleanse_v ourselves_o from_o all_o filthiness_n of_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n and_o perfect_a holiness_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n he_o that_o know_v to_o do_v well_o and_o do_v not_o or_o mankind_n of_o none_o effect_v and_o the_o solemn_a oath_n of_o almighty_a god_n as_o touch_v his_o desire_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o all_o and_o the_o death_n of_o none_o with_o reverence_n be_v it_o speak_v worse_a then_o jesuitical_a delusion_n and_o equivocation_n which_o alone_o may_v serve_v as_o a_o sufficient_a evidence_n against_o this_o opinion_n chap._n iii_o how_o the_o doctrine_n of_o god_n enforce_v man_n to_o believe_v lead_v the_o reprobate_n to_o blasphemy_n against_o god_n and_o make_v they_o excusable_a in_o their_o condemnation_n if_o god_n shall_v necessitate_v the_o thereunto_o which_o opposition_n can_v be_v apply_v unto_o god_n as_o proceed_v from_o he_o because_o that_o in_o the_o scripture_n it_o be_v to_o be_v observe_v that_o he_o be_v so_o far_o from_o require_v of_o man_n the_o do_v of_o such_o thing_n which_o peculiar_o belong_v unto_o himself_o to_o perform_v that_o in_o all_o such_o case_n he_o require_v they_o to_o stand_v still_o and_o wait_v upon_o he_o for_o his_o help_n and_o salvation_n as_o we_o may_v read_v exod._n 14.13_o where_o by_o his_o almighty_a power_n he_o make_v it_o his_o work_n to_o give_v the_o people_n passage_n
