ghost_n be_v often_o speak_v of_o in_o the_o scripture_n especial_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n as_o a_o helper_n and_o assistant_n to_o we_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n jesus_n and_o manifest_a enough_o that_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_n be_v promise_v to_o we_o and_o do_v concern_v himself_o in_o we_o about_o these_o thing_n but_o we_o be_v not_o where_o teach_v that_o ordinary_o his_o motion_n be_v of_o such_o a_o hot_a and_o strong_a nature_n that_o we_o can_v resist_v they_o but_o on_o the_o contrary_a that_o man_n do_v resist_v he_o and_o that_o his_o operation_n may_v be_v resist_v and_o as_o to_o the_o effect_v frustrate_v he_o may_v be_v grieve_v and_o depart_v from_o we_o not_o be_v entertain_v by_o we_o as_o he_o ought_v and_o that_o his_o motion_n be_v ordinary_o soft_a and_o still_o not_o come_v in_o a_o storm_n not_o in_o thunder_n or_o with_o a_o torrent_n but_o such_o that_o by_o man_n careless_a earthly_a lover_n of_o and_o busy_a with_o necessary_a and_o fit_a argument_n by_o which_o our_o prayer_n be_v press_v and_o enforce_v etc._n etc._n so_o when_o we_o come_v to_o consider_v our_o state_n and_o condition_n and_o what_o thing_n we_o have_v to_o pray_v for_o it_o be_v then_o proper_a for_o the_o holy_a spirit_n to_o bring_v those_o fit_a and_o apt_a thing_n to_o our_o mind_n especial_o to_o do_v this_o upon_o great_a and_o weighty_a occasion_n and_o in_o time_n of_o great_a necessity_n and_o trouble_n which_o that_o place_n rom._n 8._o seem_v to_o have_v a_o special_a respect_n unto_o and_o again_o we_o have_v great_a need_n of_o this_o divine_a help_n to_o raise_v and_o to_o bear_v up_o our_o heart_n and_o to_o maintain_v a_o spirit_n in_o we_o both_o constant_a and_o fervent_a and_o to_o keep_v we_o
