many_o evil_n and_o suffering_n and_o need_v a_o help_n from_o above_o to_o confirm_v and_o strengthen_v we_o we_o know_v not_o how_o soon_o we_o may_v be_v call_v forth_o to_o suffer_v the_o extreme_a evil_n or_o may_v be_v strip_v and_o deprive_v of_o all_o our_o worldly_a good_n and_o possession_n we_o can_v tell_v how_o soon_o we_o may_v lie_v upon_o our_o die_a bed_n when_o our_o soul_n shall_v sit_v ready_a to_o take_v its_o flight_n from_o our_o tremble_a lip_n when_o our_o flesh_n shall_v fail_v we_o and_o we_o shall_v be_v abandon_v by_o our_o earthly_a comfort_n and_o support_v whither_o shall_v we_o go_v for_o comfort_n then_o what_o will_v support_v we_o under_o these_o trial_n but_o the_o sense_n of_o god_n love_n and_o the_o joy_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n this_o comfort_n will_v reconcile_v we_o to_o prison_n and_o to_o poverty_n and_o to_o death_n itself_o we_o shall_v then_o have_v hope_n even_o in_o death_n itself_o 5.5_o rom._n 5.5_o and_o such_o a_o hope_n as_o make_v not_o ashamed_a because_o the_o love_n of_o god_n be_v shed_v abroad_o in_o our_o heart_n by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o be_v give_v unto_o we_o chap._n vi_o i_o shall_v in_o the_o next_o place_n consider_v the_o example_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o holy_a man_n who_o have_v suffer_v the_o great_a evil_n which_o this_o world_n can_v inflict_v upon_o they_o and_o for_o the_o better_a speak_v to_o this_o i_o shall_v first_o take_v notice_n that_o the_o holy_a scripture_n call_v upon_o we_o to_o reflect_v upon_o these_o example_n under_o our_o affliction_n second_o i_o shall_v give_v you_o a_o very_a short_a account_n of_o their_o suffering_n three_o i_o shall_v show_v you_o the_o great_a usefulness_n of_o these_o great_a example_n unto_o we_o 1._o i_o shall_v take_v notice_n that_o the_o holy_a scripture_n call_v upon_o we_o to_o reflect_v upon_o these_o example_n under_o our_o affliction_n the_o author_n of_o the_o epistle_n to_o the_o hebrew_n give_v 5.10_o 11._o take_v my_o brethren_n the_o prophet_n who_o have_v speak_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o a_o example_n of_o suffer_a affliction_n and_o of_o patience_n you_o have_v hear_v of_o the_o patience_n of_o job_n and_o have_v see_v the_o end_n of_o the_o lord_n i._n e._n as_o you_o have_v read_v or_o hear_v of_o the_o patience_n of_o job_n who_o live_v many_o age_n before_o and_o probable_o suffer_v before_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n be_v give_v so_o you_o have_v many_o of_o you_o see_v how_o patient_o our_o lord_n jesus_n suffer_v it_o be_v one_o end_n of_o our_o lord_n
