the_o heart_n of_o man_n to_o dwell_v nay_o rule_v there_o and_o so_o subject_v they_o to_o himself_o and_o defile_v and_o pollute_v they_o one_o way_n or_o other_o dry_a place_n seek_v rest_n and_o find_v none_o i._n e._n where_o there_o be_v no_o water_n or_o moisture_n or_o not_o enough_o to_o refresh_v he_o he_o have_v a_o cruel_a thirst_n upon_o he_o and_o unless_o he_o can_v meet_v with_o that_o he_o seek_v which_o be_v to_o make_v a_o prey_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n he_o be_v in_o a_o restless_a state_n like_o a_o thirsty_a person_n who_o walk_v through_o dry_a place_n can_v find_v no_o water_n there_o be_v some_o sort_n of_o man_n that_o aford_v satan_n no_o content_n nor_o satisfaction_n he_o seek_v for_o that_o ofttimes_o which_o he_o find_v not_o he_o be_v not_o please_v to_o be_v as_o a_o traveler_n to_o pass_v through_o a_o place_n and_o stay_v as_o it_o be_v but_o for_o a_o night_n but_o will_v fain_o find_v rest_n i.e._n have_v a_o place_n or_o heart_n to_o dwell_v in_o and_o take_v sole_a possession_n of_o i_o find_v one_o of_o the_o ancient_n who_o write_v on_o this_o dark_a expression_n speak_v thus_o so_o long_o as_o he_o dwell_v not_o in_o i_o he_o be_v say_v to_o seek_v rest_v he_o be_v grieve_v and_o vex_v etc._n etc._n 1._o dry_a place_n be_v common_o clean_a place_n or_o place_n where_o there_o be_v no_o dirt_n or_o mire_n and_o satan_n that_o unclean_a spirit_n be_v like_o a_o swine_n i._n e._n he_o delight_v in_o filthy_a and_o mirery_a place_n which_o may_v signify_v his_o assault_v the_o saint_n or_o seek_v to_o get_v into_o sanctify_a heart_n or_o heart_n renew_v by_o the_o special_a grace_n of_o god_n and_o thorough_o purge_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n in_o who_o that_o filthy_a sink_n of_o sin_n and_o pollution_n be_v not_o only_o dry_v up_o but_o the_o heart_n be_v change_v and_o make_v new_a and_o so_o no_o more_o a_o house_n or_o habitation_n for_o this_o unclean_a spirit_n but_o be_v become_v the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n or_o a_o habitation_n for_o god_n through_o the_o spirit_n and_o these_o man_n heart_n be_v unto_o satan_n like_o dry_a place_n to_o a_o thirsty_a and_o restless_a person_n for_o as_o the_o holy_a spirit_n can_v rest_v nor_o take_v up_o his_o abode_n in_o filthy_a and_o pollute_a heart_n so_o the_o devil_n that_o wicked_a spirit_n can_v find_v no_o rest_n nor_o place_n of_o abode_n in_o renew_a and_o sanctify_a heart_n and_o as_o it_o be_v no_o suitable_a house_n or_o habitation_n for_o he_o so_o likewise_o believer_n have_v one_o dwell_v in_o they_o strong_a enough_o to_o keep_v satan_n out_o for_o strong_a say_v the_o apostle_n 14._o be_v he_o that_o be_v in_o we_o than_o he_o which_o be_v in_o the_o world_n and_o again_o he_o say_v 18._o you_o be_v strong_a and_o the_o word_n of_o god_n abide_v in_o you_o and_o you_o have_v overcome_v the_o wicked_a one_o he_o that_o be_v beget_v of_o god_n keep_v himself_o and_o the_o wicked_a one_o touch_v he_o not_o shall_v not_o so_o touch_v he_o as_o to_o enter_v into_o his_o heart_n and_o take_v up_o his_o dwelling_n or_o get_v possession_n of_o he_o any_o more_o and_o therefore_o these_o
