church_n unless_o their_o small_a part_n may_v be_v take_v for_o the_o whole_a or_o the_o major_a vote_n and_o as_o long_o as_o they_o reject_v our_o appeal_n to_o the_o holy_a scripture_n i_o know_v not_o well_o what_o we_o can_v say_v to_o they_o which_o we_o can_v expect_v they_o shall_v regard_v any_o more_o than_o music_n be_v regard_v by_o the_o deaf_a or_o light_n by_o the_o blind_a or_o argument_n by_o the_o distract_a if_o they_o have_v the_o moderation_n and_o charity_n impartial_o to_o peruse_v our_o write_n i_o dare_v confident_o promise_v the_o recovery_n of_o multitude_n of_o they_o by_o the_o three_o write_n which_o i_o have_v already_o publish_v and_o the_o more_o that_o other_o have_v say_v against_o they_o 4._o and_o for_o the_o four_o sort_n the_o hider_n and_o the_o quaker_n i_o have_v say_v enough_o to_o they_o already_o in_o my_o book_n against_o infidelity_n and_o those_o against_o popery_n and_o quaker_n but_o in_o vain_a to_o those_o that_o have_v sin_v god_n what_o be_v it_o to_o neglect_v or_o profane_v they_o all_o if_o it_o be_v their_o sin_n that_o quarrel_n in_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n and_o walk_v not_o in_o company_n as_o love_n require_v they_o what_o be_v it_o in_o you_o to_o run_v towards_o hell_n and_o turn_v your_o back_n on_o the_o holy_a law_n and_o way_n of_o god_n if_o it_o be_v so_o lamentable_a to_o the_o nation_n and_o themselves_o that_o so_o many_o have_v fall_v into_o schism_n and_o disorder_n what_o be_v it_o then_o that_o so_o many_o be_v ungodly_a sensual_a and_o worldly_a and_o have_v no_o true_a religion_n at_o all_o in_o sincerity_n life_n and_o power_n ungodliness_n be_v all_o heresy_n transcendent_o in_o the_o lump_n and_o that_o in_o practice_n a_o man_n that_o be_v so_o foolish_a as_o to_o plead_v that_o arsenic_n be_v better_a than_o bread_n may_v yet_o live_v himself_o if_o he_o do_v not_o take_v it_o but_o so_o can_v he_o that_o eat_v it_o instead_o of_o bread_n heretic_n only_o in_o speculation_n may_v be_v save_v but_o practical_a heretic_n can_v you_o think_v it_o heinous_a to_o deny_v with_o the_o mouth_n that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n who_o make_v we_o and_o be_v our_o only_a lord_n and_o happiness_n and_o so_o it_o be_v and_o be_v it_o not_o heinous_a then_o to_o deny_v he_o with_o the_o heart_n and_o life_n and_o to_o deny_v he_o the_o love_n and_o obedience_n that_o be_v proper_o due_a to_o god_n it_o be_v odious_a idolatry_n to_o bow_v to_o a_o creature_n as_o to_o god_n and_o be_v it_o not_o odious_a to_o love_v and_o honour_n and_o obey_v a_o creature_n before_o he_o and_o to_o seek_v it_o more_o eager_o and_o mind_n it_o more_o serious_o than_o god_n if_o it_o be_v damnable_a infidelity_n to_o deny_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o redeemer_n it_o be_v not_o much_o less_o to_o turn_v away_o from_o he_o and_o make_v light_a of_o he_o and_o refuse_v his_o grace_n while_o you_o seem_v to_o honour_v he_o if_o it_o be_v damnable_a blasphemy_n to_o deny_v the_o holy_a ghost_n what_o be_v it_o to_o resist_v and_o refuse_v he_o when_o he_o will_v sanctify_v you_o and_o perhaps_o to_o make_v a_o scorn_n of_o holiness_n if_o â—t_a be_v heresy_n to_o deny_v the_o holy_a catholic_n church_n and_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n what_o be_v it_o to_o hate_v the_o holy_a member_n of_o the_o church_n and_o to_o avoid_v if_o not_o deride_v the_o communion_n if_o it_o have_v be_v mere_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o will_n of_o god_n it_o can_v be_v easy_o satisfy_v answ_n wo_n to_o we_o if_o we_o have_v not_o ground_n of_o comfort_n against_o the_o error_n of_o our_o own_o will_n when_o our_o destruction_n be_v of_o ourselves_o our_o help_n be_v of_o god_n so_o much_o as_o be_v of_o ourselves_o in_o it_o be_v evil_a but_o so_o much_o as_o be_v of_o god_n be_v good_a i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o you_o shall_v rest_v in_o your_o own_o will_n nor_o in_o your_o own_o way_n but_o in_o the_o will_n and_o way_n of_o god_n the_o rod_n be_v good_a though_o the_o fault_n that_o make_v it_o necessary_a be_v bad_a the_o chastise_v will_n be_v good_a though_o the_o sin_v will_v be_v evil_a and_o it_o be_v good_a that_o be_v intend_v to_o we_o and_o shall_v be_v perform_v in_o the_o event_n object_n but_o how_o can_v we_o rest_v in_o the_o angry_a afflict_a will_n of_o god_n when_o it_o be_v this_o that_o we_o must_v be_v humble_v under_o and_o it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o be_v the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o wicked_a answ_n the_o effect_n be_v from_o a_o twofold_a cause_n the_o sin_v will_n of_o man_n and_o the_o punish_a will_n of_o god_n be_v according_o good_a as_o from_o the_o latter_a and_o so_o far_o shall_v be_v love_v and_o consent_v to_o by_o all_o and_o evil_a as_o from_o the_o former_a and_o so_o may_v be_v abhor_v but_o to_o the_o saint_n there_o be_v yet_o great_a consolation_n though_o affliction_n be_v their_o grief_n as_o it_o signify_v god_n displeasure_n and_o cause_v the_o smart_n or_o destruction_n of_o heat_n in_o the_o summer_n from_o the_o sun_n when_o we_o all_o make_v one_o celestial_a chore_n to_o sing_v the_o praise_n of_o the_o king_n of_o saint_n how_o unlike_a will_v that_o melody_n be_v to_o the_o break_a music_n of_o sigh_n and_o groan_n and_o lamentation_n which_o we_o now_o take_v to_o be_v almost_o our_o best_a we_o be_v now_o glad_a when_o we_o can_v find_v but_o word_n and_o groan_n and_o tear_n to_o lament_v our_o sin_n and_o misery_n but_o then_o our_o joy_n shall_v know_v no_o sorrow_n nor_o our_o voice_n any_o sad_a and_o mournfall_n tune_n and_o may_v we_o not_o not_o if_o not_o why_o be_v you_o afraid_a of_o death_n if_o you_o do_v why_o then_o be_v you_o loath_a to_o pass_v into_o everlasting_a life_n you_o know_v there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o immortality_n on_o earth_n hence_o you_o must_v pass_v whether_o you_o will_v or_o not_o as_o all_o your_o father_n have_v do_v before_o you_o it_o be_v therefore_o in_o heaven_n or_o nowhere_o that_o endless_a life_n be_v to_o be_v have_v if_o you_o can_v live_v here_o for_o ever_o do_v hope_v for_o it_o if_o any_o have_v do_v so_o before_o you_o go_v to_o some_o man_n of_o a_o thousand_o year_n old_a and_o ask_v he_o how_o he_o make_v shift_v to_o draw_v out_o his_o life_n so_o long_o but_o if_o you_o know_v that_o man_n walk_v here_o in_o a_o vain_a show_n and_o that_o his_o life_n be_v as_o a_o shadow_n a_o dream_n a_o post_n and_o that_o all_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v dissolve_v and_o the_o fashion_n of_o they_o pass_v away_o be_v it_o not_o more_o reasonable_a that_o we_o shall_v set_v our_o heart_n on_o the_o place_n where_o there_o be_v hope_n of_o our_o continuance_n then_o where_o there_o be_v none_o â—â—_o and_o where_o we_o must_v live_v for_o ever_o then_o where_o we_o must_v be_v but_o for_o so_o short_a a_o time_n alas_o poor_a darken_v trouble_a soul_n be_v the_o presence_n of_o christ_n less_o desirable_a in_o thy_o eye_n than_o the_o presence_n of_o such_o sinful_a worm_n as_o we_o who_o thou_o be_v loath_a to_o part_v with_o be_v it_o more_o grievous_a to_o thou_o to_o be_v absent_a from_o we_o then_o from_o thy_o lord_n from_o earth_n then_o from_o heaven_n from_o sinner_n then_o from_o bless_a saint_n from_o trouble_n and_o frailty_n then_o from_o glory_n have_v thou_o any_o thing_n here_o that_o thou_o shall_v want_v in_o heaven_n alas_o that_o we_o shall_v thus_o draw_v back_o from_o happiness_n and_o follow_v christ_n so_o heavy_o and_o sad_o into_o life_n but_o all_o this_o be_v long_o of_o the_o enemy_n that_o now_o molest_v our_o peace_n indwell_v sin_n and_o a_o flatter_a world_n and_o a_o brutish_a flesh_n and_o
