papist_n for_o these_o sophister_n have_v neither_o wit_n nor_o wysdome_n they_o be_v belly_n beast_n bear_v only_o to_o those_o feast_n of_o school_n but_o pray_v thou_o unto_o god_n who_o command_v by_o his_o word_n that_o light_n shall_v shine_v out_o of_o darkness_n that_o he_o will_v shine_v bryght_o in_o thy_o hart_n and_o that_o be_v will_v create_v a_o true_a faith_n in_o thou_o otherwise_o thou_o shall_v never_o believe_v true_o though_o for_o the_o space_n of_o a_o thousand_o year_n thou_o do_v labour_n and_o study_v about_o such_o cogitation_n and_o imagination_n either_o of_o a_o faith_n heretofore_o get_v righteousness_n righteousness_n or_o hereafter_o to_o be_v seek_v for_o this_o faith_n now_o be_v that_o true_a justice_n which_o the_o apostle_n call_v the_o justice_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n that_o be_v which_o only_o be_v of_o force_n avaylable_a and_o can_v stand_v before_o god_n because_o it_o be_v the_o meregyft_n of_o god_n and_o this_o faith_n do_v transform_v the_o whole_a man_n and_o make_v he_o such_o a_o one_o that_o according_a to_o that_o common_a definition_n of_o civil_a justice_n he_o be_v ready_a to_o geve_v and_o render_v to_o every_o one_o that_o which_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o for_o see_v by_o that_o faith_n we_o be_v instify_v and_o endue_v with_o the_o love_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n then_o sure_o we_o so_o magnify_v god_n and_o the_o law_n do_v geve_v that_o glory_n unto_o god_n which_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o also_o see_v by_o that_o faith_n we_o do_v believe_v firm_o that_o we_o be_v justify_v free_o and_o reconcile_v unto_o god_n through_o christ_n who_o every_o where_n be_v ready_a to_o save_v we_o then_o by_o course_n we_o serve_v for_o our_o neighbour_n &_o so_o again_o render_v and_o attribute_v to_o every_o man_n that_o which_o be_v he_o this_o ryghteousnes_n of_o the_o hart_n we_o can_v not_o obtain_v by_o any_o endeavour_n of_o our_o own_o free_a will_n or_o by_o our_o own_o strength_n &_o merit_n for_o as_o no_o man_n can_v see_v that_o lyvely_a operation_n that_o be_v faith_n of_o our_o heart_n but_o only_o god_n so_o no_o man_n can_v repel_v from_o himself_o that_o wickedness_n and_o incredulity_n of_o the_o hart_n but_o only_o by_o grace_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n so_o far_o we_o be_v from_o be_v able_a to_o deliver_v ourselves_o from_o sin_n by_o our_o own_o power_n therefore_o though_o work_n do_v seem_v to_o show_v gallant_o and_o glorious_o yet_o notwithstanding_o whatsoever_o be_v not_o of_o faith_n be_v hypocrisy_n and_o sin_n now_o as_o concern_v flesh_n and_o spirit_n which_o often_o be_v use_v in_o this_o epistle_n you_o must_v not_o take_v flesh_n to_o be_v after_o the_o common_a manner_n the_o desire_n and_o lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n only_o neither_o must_v you_o call_v the_o spirit_n only_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v do_v spiritual_o in_o the_o inward_a corner_n of_o the_o hart_n be_v hart_n flesh_n what_o â—t_z be_v for_o the_o apostle_n saint_n paul_n as_o also_o christ_n himself_o in_o the_o iii_o ch._n of_o john_n do_v call_v flesh_n whatsoever_o be_v bear_v of_o the_o flesh_n that_o be_v the_o whole_a man_n body_n and_o soul_n all_o man_n reason_n whole_o with_o all_o his_o chief_a and_o best_a power_n because_o that_o all_o these_o thing_n do_v savour_n of_o nothing_o but_o flesh_n and_o seek_v after_o nothing_o but_o fleshly_a thing_n wherefore_o thou_o shall_v eall_v all_o those_o work_v flesh_n which_o seem_v to_o be_v good_a and_o make_v a_o beautiful_a show_n of_o holy_a work_n and_o yet_o be_v do_v without_o the_o grace_n and_o work_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_n in_o the_o hart_n which_o thing_n be_v plain_a and_o evident_a by_o the_o u_o chapter_n to_o the_o galathian_o where_o paul_n recken_v and_o count_v heresy_n &_o sect_n among_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o in_o the_o viii_o chapter_n to_o the_o roman_n he_o say_v that_o the_o law_n be_v make_v weak_a by_o reason_n of_o the_o flesh_n which_o thing_n ought_v to_o be_v mean_v not_o only_o of_o the_o unchaste_a lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o also_o of_o the_o whole_a mass_n of_o corruption_n and_o wickedness_n yea_o breisly_a and_o chief_o of_o incredulity_n or_o unbelief_n sin_n incredulity_n the_o ground_n all_o sin_n which_o be_v the_o most_o secret_a and_o chief_a sin_n of_o all_o contrariwise_o be_v contrariwise_o spirit_n what_o it_o be_v thou_o shall_v call_v the_o spirit_n those_o spiritual_a thing_n even_o those_o external_a work_n which_o proceed_v from_o a_o spiritual_a man_n or_o from_o a_o hart_n innovate_v and_o make_v new_a by_o the_o holy_a spirit_n that_o wash_v of_o the_o foot_n which_o christ_n do_v to_o his_o disciple_n though_o it_o be_v a_o outward_a work_n yet_o it_o be_v spiritual_a peter_n fish_n to_o which_o he_o return_v be_v now_o justify_v in_o the_o spirit_n be_v also_o spiritual_a therefore_o that_o be_v flesh_n whatsoever_o a_o man_n do_v seek_v and_o savour_v only_o carnal_a and_o fleshly_a thing_n and_o that_o be_v spirit_n whatsoever_o be_v do_v within_o or_o without_o wherewith_o a_o man_n exercise_v faith_n and_o charity_n do_v seek_v spiritual_a thing_n unless_o we_o take_v these_o word_n in_o this_o sense_n we_o shall_v neither_o understand_v this_o epistle_n of_o s._n paul_n nor_o any_o other_o book_n of_o the_o divine_a scripture_n therefore_o whether_o it_o be_v jerome_n or_o augustine_n or_o ambrose_n or_o origen_n brief_o what_o writer_n soever_o they_o be_v that_o use_v these_o word_n otherwise_o let_v not_o the_o authority_n of_o man_n move_v thou_o any_o thing_n at_o all_o but_o rather_o flee_v from_o
