same_o family_n and_o preserve_v in_o the_o same_o ark_n the_o lord_n be_v the_o saviour_n of_o all_o man_n but_o especial_o of_o those_o that_o do_v believe_v 1._o tim._n 4._o the_o malignant_a church_n be_v sort_v even_o with_o the_o elect_n and_o choose_a generation_n 47_o the_o hypocrite_n and_o true_a believer_n make_v one_o militant_a church_n the_o tare_n must_v grow_v up_o with_o the_o wheat_n until_o the_o time_n of_o harvest_n lest_o in_o pluck_v up_o the_o tare_n we_o pluck_v up_o the_o wheat_n also_o and_o there_o must_v be_v deceiver_n to_o try_v and_o purge_v the_o elect_a yea_o to_o assure_v the_o saint_n that_o the_o house_n do_v of_o right_a appertain_v to_o they_o when_o those_o that_o be_v in_o the_o church_n shall_v willing_o go_v out_o thereof_o sheep_n from_o the_o goat_n at_o that_o great_a day_n that_o unto_o the_o lord_n alone_o may_v be_v ascribe_v the_o glory_n of_o all_o his_o work_n and_o therefore_o as_o this_o serve_v to_o reprove_v such_o as_o dream_v of_o use_v such_o a_o church_n in_o this_o life_n which_o may_v be_v free_a from_o this_o mixture_n because_o it_o be_v only_o proper_a to_o the_o church_n triumphant_a to_o have_v all_o her_o vessel_n holy_a unto_o the_o lord_n to_o have_v every_o member_n true_o sanctify_v so_o it_o also_o condemn_v those_o which_o shroud_v themselves_o under_o pretence_n of_o this_o mixture_n assume_v therefore_o their_o state_n to_o be_v good_a because_o they_o be_v only_a member_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n they_o be_v professor_n they_o will_v come_v to_o the_o church_n they_o be_v christian_n they_o hear_v the_o word_n partake_v of_o the_o sacrament_n etc._n etc._n have_v not_o those_o which_o have_v boast_v of_o great_a matter_n &_o be_v true_o interress_v in_o more_o glorious_a outward_a privilege_n 23._o yet_o not_o withstand_v hear_v that_o fearful_a voice_n i_o know_v you_o not_o depart_v from_o i_o you_o worker_n of_o iniquity_n have_v not_o the_o court_n which_o be_v without_o the_o temple_n be_v cast_v out_o and_o give_v to_o the_o gentile_n have_v they_o not_o tread_v underfoot_o the_o holy_a 4._o city_n have_v sinner_n in_o zion_n live_v afraid_a have_v not_o shame_v come_v upon_o the_o hypocrite_n can_v they_o be_v able_a to_o dwell_v with_o the_o devour_a fire_n can_v they_o endure_v the_o everlasting_a burn_a because_o the_o common_a privilege_n be_v abuse_v sure_o as_o we_o may_v not_o leave_v a_o church_n because_o of_o this_o mixture_n lest_o we_o also_o deprive_v ourselves_o of_o the_o true_a &_o special_a privilege_n thereof_o so_o we_o must_v not_o content_v ourselves_o only_o with_o the_o outward_a evidence_n lest_o in_o the_o day_n of_o reckon_n we_o be_v find_v too_o light_a and_o therefore_o labour_v we_o so_o in_o the_o church_n that_o we_o may_v be_v also_o true_a and_o live_a star_n even_o lively_a member_n and_o true_a branch_n of_o the_o vine_n christ_n jesus_n and_o that_o we_o shall_v do_v if_o not_o despise_v and_o reject_v the_o outward_a mean_n as_o the_o word_n sacrament_n because_o the_o hypocrite_n abuse_v they_o upon_o pretence_n of_o revelation_n or_o a_o more_o spiritual_a hypocrite_n worship_n we_o do_v not_o yet_o rest_n and_o content_v ourselves_o herewith_o but_o rather_o try_v all_o thing_n by_o the_o bless_a spirit_n pray_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o understand_v by_o the_o spirit_n what_o the_o letter_n deliver_v and_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n abide_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o not_o only_o in_o the_o outward_a man_n still_o hunger_a in_o the_o spirit_n after_o the_o best_a grace_n and_o walk_v by_o faith_n and_o not_o by_o sin_n aim_v above_o all_o at_o the_o glory_n of_o our_o god_n and_o endeavour_v that_o our_o whole_a spirit_n and_o soul_n &_o body_n may_v be_v keep_v blameless_a unto_o the_o come_n of_o out_o lord_n jesus_n thus_o may_v we_o approve_v ourselves_o to_o have_v choose_v the_o better_a part_n thus_o may_v we_o discern_v ourselves_o to_o be_v choose_v to_o the_o better_a part_n not_o to_o love_v the_o world_n though_o we_o must_v needs_o be_v in_o it_o not_o to_o be_v of_o the_o hypocrite_n though_o in_o the_o same_o church_n we_o be_v conversant_a with_o they_o comfort_v ourselves_o that_o as_o there_o be_v a_o time_n that_o the_o son_n of_o the_o bondwoman_n shall_v be_v cast_v out_o so_o while_o yet_o it_o be_v our_o lot_n to_o abide_v in_o the_o flock_n to_o be_v trouble_v and_o try_v with_o this_o viperous_a generation_n yet_o shall_v canaan_n be_v but_o a_o servant_n to_o japheth_n the_o hypocrite_n so_o long_o as_o he_o abide_v in_o the_o church_n be_v subject_a to_o the_o true_a believer_n all_o his_o gift_n shall_v serve_v only_o for_o the_o good_a of_o the_o elect_n 27._o though_o for_o his_o own_o further_a condemnation_n though_o he_o shall_v heap_v up_o silver_n as_o the_o dust_n and_o prepare_v raiment_n as_o the_o clay_n he_o may_v prepare_v it_o but_o the_o just_a shall_v his_o reward_n already_o he_o may_v be_v exclude_v the_o reward_n to_o come_v be_v he_o any_o other_o than_o a_o stool_n to_o dress_v food_n for_o the_o child_n well_o may_v he_o lick_v his_o finger_n he_o may_v have_v a_o taste_n and_o glimpse_n 5_o thereof_o but_o his_o stomach_n be_v over-cloyed_n with_o the_o love_n of_o the_o world_n it_o be_v enough_o to_o taste_v and_o it_o will_v be_v too_o much_o that_o he_o have_v taste_v and_o be_v he_o not_o in_o the_o day_n of_o trouble_n a_o servant_n to_o the_o elect_n do_v he_o not_o prove_v a_o ransom_n for_o the_o just_a be_v he_o not_o for_o his_o use_v prosperity_n and_o vainglory_n the_o object_n of_o the_o enemy_n malice_n he_o they_o envy_v for_o the_o pride_n of_o his_o holy_a mountain_n he_o they_o thirst_v after_o for_o his_o pomp_n and_o riches_n and_o while_o they_o be_v rifle_v he_o do_v not_o the_o righteous_a escape_n be_v not_o that_o desire_n of_o the_o wicked_a satisfy_v be_v not_o god_n purpose_n accomplish_v for_o the_o purge_n of_o his_o church_n for_o the_o preservation_n of_o his_o choose_v lo_o thus_o canaan_n be_v a_o servant_n unto_o japheth_n and_o therefore_o 1._o let_v this_o serve_v to_o humble_v the_o hypocrite_n in_o his_o great_a pomp_n he_o be_v no_o better_a than_o a_o slave_n for_o the_o church_n good_a so_o that_o the_o more_o he_o enjoy_v the_o great_a shall_v be_v his_o condemnation_n and_o let_v this_o comfort_v the_o elect_a in_o their_o great_a abase_v their_o great_a enemy_n shall_v serve_v their_o turn_n and_o can_v the_o lord_n then_o fail_v they_o or_o forsake_v they_o only_o be_v we_o wise_a not_o to_o loose_v our_o right_n let_v we_o not_o despise_v the_o hypocrite_n gift_n because_o he_o abuse_v they_o neither_o let_v we_o 7._o close_v with_o he_o in_o his_o show_n and_o yield_v ourselves_o to_o be_v measure_v by_o his_o line_n lest_o now_o he_o insult_v and_o rejoice_v in_o our_o flesh_n and_o so_o bring_v we_o into_o bondage_n but_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n stand_v we_o fast_n '_o in_o the_o liberty_n which_o christ_n have_v purchase_v for_o we_o and_o be_v we_o not_o servant_n unto_o man_n but_o to_o win_v they_o to_o christ_n so_o shall_v canaan_n still_o be_v a_o
