the_o publisher_n god_n be_v our_o father_n indeed_o solomon_n be_v but_o god_n minister_n and_o speak_v like_o a_o father_n to_o all_o that_o of_o all_o he_o may_v win_v some_o solomon_n be_v a_o a_o puritan_n a_o fool_n and_o call_v a_o preacher_n in_o derision_n well_o solomon_n though_o he_o be_v a_o king_n and_o no_o preacher_n yet_o he_o give_v the_o charge_n on_o the_o judgement_n seat_n like_o a_o divine_a and_o he_o counsel_v like_o a_o preacher_n indeed_o but_o he_o speak_v like_o a_o father_n and_o from_o a_o father_n affection_n with_o desire_v not_o to_o show_v himself_o but_o to_o profit_v his_o auditor_n and_o his_o reader_n therefore_o see_v how_o he_o temper_v his_o counsel_n and_o his_o doctrine_n with_o word_n of_o love_n say_v my_o son_n as_o if_o that_o be_v the_o only_a way_n to_o win_v man_n to_o god_n so_o when_o the_o apostle_n will_v make_v 19_o the_o galathian_o in_o love_n with_o his_o doctrine_n he_o call_v they_o his_o child_n yea_o his_o little_a child_n this_o be_v to_o teach_v all_o teacher_n how_o to_o make_v their_o doctrine_n most_o profitable_a unto_o their_o auditor_n they_o have_v put_v upon_o they_o the_o person_n of_o father_n therefore_o with_o a_o fatherly_a affection_n they_o must_v teach_v the_o lord_n people_n and_o humble_v they_o as_o child_n especial_o weak_a one_o which_o be_v but_o come_v on_o but_o those_o that_o be_v fall_v away_o and_o sin_n of_o malice_n and_o wilfulness_n be_v to_o be_v handle_v after_o another_o manner_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o solomon_n in_o this_o book_n have_v so_o much_o ado_n with_o fool_n and_o scorner_n though_o he_o speak_v to_o some_o as_o to_o babe_n and_o child_n and_o that_o kind_a of_o teach_v be_v of_o love_n too_o and_o from_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n yea_o when_o paul_n rattle_v up_o elymas_n the_o sorserer_n call_v he_o a_o man_n full_a of_o subtlety_n and_o mischief_n 10._o a_o child_n of_o the_o devil_n a_o enemy_n of_o all_o righteousness_n and_o a_o perverter_n of_o the_o straight_a way_n of_o the_o lord_n it_o be_v say_v of_o he_o that_o he_o be_v full_a of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o this_o do_v not_o patronise_v bitterness_n of_o spirit_n or_o unseemly_a rail_n in_o any_o so_o it_o serve_v to_o prove_v that_o a_o minister_n of_o god_n may_v sometime_o as_o occasion_n serve_v deal_v roundly_o in_o lay_v open_a of_o sin_n and_o severe_o thunder_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n neither_o can_v we_o without_o sin_n charge_v he_o with_o rail_v or_o malice_n or_o choler_n as_o the_o manner_n of_o some_o be_v to_o charge_v the_o preacher_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n my_o son_n say_v solomon_n to_o teach_v we_o that_o we_o must_v speak_v with_o a_o love_a and_o kind_a affection_n but_o not_o with_o a_o covetous_a and_o father_n towards_o their_o child_n and_o that_o fatherly_a love_n will_v sweeten_v all_o our_o reprehension_n and_o all_o our_o admonition_n &_o make_v they_o in_o time_n go_v down_o into_o the_o stomach_n if_o they_o be_v as_o bitter_a as_o any_o pill_n if_o man_n be_v not_o whole_o give_v over_o of_o god_n my_o brethren_n say_v s._n paul_n in_o all_o his_o epistle_n as_o if_o he_o make_v as_o much_o reckon_n of_o they_o as_o of_o himself_o and_o to_o show_v they_o that_o he_o wish_v they_o to_o do_v nothing_o but_o that_o he_o himself_o will_v help_v they_o in_o it_o and_o do_v it_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n as_o s._n paul_n teach_v timothy_n for_o want_v whereof_o much_o 11._o learning_n and_o eloquence_n be_v show_v 25._o many_o argument_n and_o authority_n be_v spend_v green_a again_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o elect_a child_n of_o god_n be_v likewise_o like_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o tree_n which_o be_v first_o in_o the_o sap_n only_o than_o it_o howsoever_o they_o be_v handle_v yet_o they_o prove_v that_o the_o sap_n of_o god_n spirit_n be_v in_o they_o and_o the_o next_o spring_n of_o god_n grace_n will_v fetch_v all_o again_o but_o then_o they_o doubt_v of_o themselves_o because_o perhaps_o they_o have_v not_o so_o much_o fruit_n as_o they_o have_v or_o so_o much_o as_o other_o have_v but_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n why_o they_o shall_v doubt_v of_o themselves_o for_o though_o they_o have_v not_o so_o much_o as_o they_o have_v yet_o it_o be_v as_o good_a and_o sound_a as_o that_o which_o they_o have_v it_o be_v not_o counterfeit_a and_o feign_a but_o it_o be_v in_o truth_n that_o which_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v and_o so_o long_o they_o may_v care_v but_o they_o need_v not_o to_o fear_v the_o want_n of_o god_n spirit_n in_o they_o for_o it_o be_v not_o so_o material_a how_o much_o faith_n or_o how_o much_o zeal_n or_o how_o much_o love_n or_o how_o much_o patience_n a_o man_n have_v but_o how_o good_a faith_n how_o good_a zeal_n how_o good_a love_n &_o how_o good_a patience_n a_o man_n have_v whether_o the_o faith_n love_n zeal_n etc._n etc._n be_v true_a or_o counterfeit_v from_o the_o heart_n or_o in_o hypocrisy_n must_v be_v the_o question_n that_o as_o man_n say_v of_o fruit_n this_o be_v but_o little_a but_o it_o be_v good_a here_o be_v not_o many_o of_o they_o but_o those_o that_o be_v of_o they_o be_v very_o dainty_a they_o be_v right_a of_o such_o and_o such_o a_o kind_n so_o the_o child_n of_o god_n may_v say_v my_o faith_n be_v but_o little_a and_o weak_a my_o love_n be_v not_o so_o much_o as_o i_o will_v it_o be_v my_o zeal_n be_v but_o little_a and_o my_o patience_n be_v but_o small_a but_o it_o be_v true_a faith_n and_o true_a love_n and_o true_a zeal_n and_o true_a patience_n even_o from_o the_o very_a heart_n root_n without_o dissemble_v o_o lord_n increase_v it_o and_o strengthen_v it_o and_o thus_o much_o for_o the_o difference_n between_o the_o child_n of_o god_n by_o creation_n only_o and_o the_o child_n of_o god_n both_o by_o creation_n and_o adoption_n and_o thus_o much_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n both_o in_o the_o one_o and_o in_o the_o other_o now_o let_v we_o come_v to_o the_o matter_n in_o hand_n we_o have_v hear_v who_o be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o god_n how_o this_o title_n be_v give_v to_o the_o lord_n jesus_n how_o to_o angel_n and_o how_o to_o man_n have_v be_v also_o declare_v but_o to_o imagine_v that_o in_o this_o place_n it_o be_v speak_v to_o the_o lord_n jesus_n be_v no_o less_o than_o blasphemy_n because_o he_o be_v ever_o without_o sin_n and_o to_o inquire_v whether_o it_o be_v speak_v to_o the_o angel_n or_o no_o be_v vain_a curiosity_n now_o if_o it_o be_v man_n to_o who_o the_o lord_n say_v my_o son_n as_o it_o be_v indeed_o o_o lord_n what_o be_v man_n that_o thou_o do_v speak_v so_o kind_o to_o he_o or_o the_o son_n of_o man_n that_o thou_o do_v so_o regard_v he_o again_o if_o it_o be_v speak_v to_o man_n how_o
