attractive_a be_v this_o glory_n of_o a_o subject_n right_o dispose_v to_o it_o while_o other_o crave_v corn_n and_o wine_n this_o be_v the_o sum_n of_o the_o holy_a soul_n desire_n 4._o lord_n lift_v and_o the_o rest_n be_v proportionable_o more_o compose_v and_o steady_a according_a as_o the_o motion_n be_v strong_a and_o more_o vigorous_a by_o how_o much_o the_o heavy_a any_o body_n be_v so_o much_o the_o strong_a and_o less_o resistible_a be_v its_o motion_n downward_o and_o then_o according_o it_o be_v less_o movable_a when_o it_o have_v attain_v its_o rest_a place_n it_o be_v therefore_o a_o vanity_n and_o contradiction_n to_o speak_v of_o the_o soul_n be_v satisfy_v in_o that_o which_o it_o be_v not_o before_o desirous_a of_o reject_v and_o that_o state_n which_o it_o shall_v ultimate_o and_o eternal_o acquiesse_n in_o with_o a_o rest_n that_o must_v therefore_o be_v understand_v to_o be_v most_o compose_v and_o sedate_v towards_o it_o must_v it_o need_v move_v with_o the_o strong_a and_o most_o unsatisfy_a desire_n a_o desire_n that_o be_v supreme_a prevalent_a and_o triumphant_a over_o all_o other_o desire_n and_o over_o all_o obstruction_n to_o itself_o least_o capable_a of_o diversion_n or_o of_o pitch_v upon_o any_o thing_n short_a of_o the_o term_n aim_v at_o ask_v therefore_o the_o holy_a soul_n what_o be_v thy_o supreme_a desire_n and_o so_o far_o as_o it_o understand_v itself_o it_o must_v answer_v to_o see_v and_o partake_v the_o divine_a glory_n to_o behold_v the_o bless_a face_n of_o god_n till_o his_o likeness_n be_v transfuse_v glory_n miserable_a soul_n consider_v your_o state_n can_v that_o be_v your_o blessedness_n which_o you_o desire_v not_o or_o do_v you_o think_v god_n will_v receive_v any_o into_o his_o bless_a presence_n to_o who_o it_o shall_v be_v a_o burden_n methinks_v upon_o the_o read_n of_o this_o you_o shall_v present_o doom_v yourselves_o and_o see_v your_o sentence_n write_v in_o your_o breast_n compare_v your_o heart_n with_o his_o holy_a man_n see_v if_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n like_o this_o in_o the_o temper_n of_o your_o spirit_n and_o never_o think_v well_o of_o yourselves_o till_o you_o find_v it_o so_o 5._o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n inference_n and_o conformity_n to_o he_o be_v in_o their_o own_o nature_n apt_a to_o satisfy_v the_o desire_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o even_o noâ—_n actual_o do_v so_o in_o the_o measure_n wherein_o they_o be_v attain_v some_o thing_n be_v not_o of_o a_o satisfy_a nature_n there_o be_v nothing_o tend_v to_o satisfaction_n in_o they_o and_o then_o the_o continual_a heap_v together_o of_o such_o thing_n do_v no_o more_o towards_o satisfaction_n than_o the_o accumulate_a of_o mathematical_a point_n will_v towards_o the_o compact_n of_o a_o solid_a body_n or_o the_o multiplication_n of_o cipher_n only_o to_o the_o make_n of_o a_o sum_n but_o what_o shall_v one_o day_n satisfi_n have_v in_o itself_o a_o power_n and_o aptitude_n thereto_o of_o the_o divine_a glory_n do_v not_o as_o to_o the_o latter_a beside_o all_o that_o assurance_n give_v by_o scripture-constitution_n to_o the_o righteous_a man_n concern_v his_o future_a reward_n let_v the_o conscience_n be_v consult_v of_o the_o most_o besotted_a sinner_n in_o any_o lucid_a interval_n and_o they_o will_v give_v their_o suffrage_n balaam_n that_o so_o earnest_o follow_v the_o reward_n of_o unrighteousness_n not_o except_v that_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n be_v that_o only_a likely_a way_n to_o happiness_n and_o will_v therefore_o desire_v to_o die_v at_o least_o ingrediency_n into_o or_o consistency_n with_o this_o state_n of_o blessedness_n 3._o gather_v up_o into_o it_o whatsoever_o you_o can_v find_v by_o the_o scripture-discovery_n to_o appertain_v or_o belong_v thereto_o let_v your_o notion_n of_o it_o be_v to_o your_o uttermost_a not_o only_o true_a but_o comprehensive_a and_o full_a and_o as_o particular_a and_o positive_a as_o god_n revelation_n will_v warrant_v especial_o remember_v it_o be_v a_o spiritual_a blessedness_n that_o consist_v in_o the_o refine_n and_o perfect_v of_o your_o spirit_n by_o the_o vision_n and_o likeness_n of_o the_o
