christ_n as_o paul_n plain_o teach_v rom._n 5._o by_o the_o obedience_n of_o one_o many_o shall_v be_v make_v righteous_a double_a but_o the_o obedience_n of_o christ_n be_v of_o two_o sort_n of_o the_o cross_n and_o of_o the_o law_n by_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o cross_n whereby_o he_o humble_v himself_o and_o become_v obedient_a unto_o the_o death_n even_o the_o death_n of_o the_o cross_n philip._n 3._o the_o lord_n do_v make_v a_o full_a satisfaction_n for_o our_o sin_n the_o obedience_n of_o the_o law_n he_o impute_v unto_o we_o that_o believe_v that_o by_o it_o we_o may_v appear_v righteous_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n paul_n say_v that_o this_o righteousness_n or_o obedience_n of_o christ_n be_v impute_v to_o they_o that_o believe_v therefore_o it_o be_v neither_o substance_n nor_o quality_n abide_v in_o they_o whereby_o a_o man_n be_v make_v righteous_a formal_o wherefore_o this_o affirmance_n be_v sure_o to_o be_v hold_v righteousness_n that_o christian_n righteousness_n be_v the_o obedience_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n impute_v to_o he_o that_o believe_v but_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n we_o must_v also_o understande_v this_o that_o the_o scripture_n make_v mention_n of_o three_o kind_n of_o righteousness_n of_o man_n man_n whereof_o one_o be_v of_o faith_n by_o which_o we_o stand_v before_o god_n and_o this_o be_v perfect_a as_o the_o obedience_n of_o christ_n be_v perfect_a life_n neither_o be_v it_o diminish_v or_o increase_v by_o the_o diminish_n or_o increase_v of_o faith_n for_o the_o publican_n have_v this_o full_a and_o perfect_a as_o well_o as_o peter_n although_o the_o faith_n of_o peter_n be_v much_o more_o manifest_a and_o know_v righteousness_n another_o be_v the_o begin_n of_o obedience_n which_o be_v also_o call_v the_o righteousness_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n this_o be_v not_o set_v against_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n because_o it_o be_v not_o perfect_a obedience_n of_o the_o law_n yet_o it_o be_v necessary_a in_o as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v the_o proper_a fruit_n of_o faith_n a_o other_o there_o be_v come_v which_o be_v as_o yet_o look_v for_o whereof_o paul_n speak_v galat._n 5._o for_o we_o through_o the_o spirit_n wait_v for_o the_o hope_n of_o righteousness_n through_o faith_n and_o 1._o john_n 3._o dear_o belove_v now_o be_v we_o the_o son_n of_o god_n but_o yet_o it_o do_v not_o appear_v what_o we_o shall_v be_v and_o we_o know_v that_o when_o we_o shall_v appear_v we_o shall_v be_v like_o he_o for_o we_o shall_v see_v he_o as_o he_o be_v and_o every_o man_n that_o have_v this_o hope_n in_o he_o purge_v himself_o even_o as_o he_o be_v pure_a this_o righteousness_n therefore_o be_v a_o make_n of_o we_o like_o unto_o god_n a_o dwell_n of_o god_n in_o we_o a_o full_a fruition_n of_o god_n a_o absolute_a and_o perfect_a love_n and_o although_o we_o must_v confess_v that_o the_o heart_n of_o they_o that_o believe_v be_v the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o christ_n say_v john_n 14._o if_o any_o man_n love_v i_o he_o will_v keep_v my_o word_n and_o my_o father_n will_v love_v he_o and_o we_o will_v come_v unto_o he_o and_o will_v dwell_v with_o he_o yet_o it_o do_v not_o follow_v that_o this_o dwell_n of_o god_n in_o we_o be_v the_o righteousness_n whereby_o we_o stand_v before_o god_n but_o it_o be_v a_o divine_a presence_n in_o we_o by_o which_o we_o be_v renew_a do_v feel_v comfort_n and_o begin_v to_o approach_v to_o eternal_a life_n furthermore_o if_o man_n be_v justify_v here_o by_o essential_a righteousness_n there_o shall_v be_v no_o difference_n between_o the_o righteousness_n by_o which_o we_o be_v righteous_a in_o this_o life_n and_o that_o by_o which_o we_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o god_n in_o all_o eternity_n but_o paul_n put_v a_o manifest_a difference_n between_o these_o two_o for_o he_o say_v that_o we_o have_v the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n now_o here_o in_o this_o life_n but_o that_o we_o do_v look_v for_o another_o righteousness_n which_o john_n define_v to_o be_v a_o frame_n or_o fashion_v whereby_o we_o shall_v be_v fashion_v like_o unto_o god_n which_o fashion_v shall_v proceed_v from_o hence_o in_o that_o we_o shall_v see_v he_o as_o he_o be_v say_v new_a obedience_n be_v necessary_o join_v with_o faith_n for_o regeneration_n which_o can_v be_v absent_a from_o a_o justify_n faith_n do_v necessary_o bring_v forth_o it_o fruit_n which_o be_v see_v in_o new_a obedience_n for_o after_o that_o a_o man_n through_o the_o grace_n of_o regeneration_n be_v make_v a_o new_a tree_n he_o ought_v to_o bring_v forth_o new_a that_o be_v good_a fruit_n which_o paul_n in_o his_o epistle_n to_o the_o philip._n call_v the_o fruit_n of_o y_fw-fr e_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n james_n pronounce_v in_o his_o own_o peculiar_a and_o proper_a phrase_n that_o man_n be_v justify_v by_o the_o same_o that_o be_v acknowledge_v and_o declare_v just_a this_o new_a obedience_n be_v sometime_o call_v sanctification_n which_o consist_v of_o the_o mortify_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o of_o the_o quicken_a of_o the_o spirit_n for_o paul_n say_v thus_o christ_n be_v make_v unto_o we_o wisdom_n and_o righteousness_n 1.30_o and_o sanctification_n etc._n and_o redemption_n he_o be_v make_v our_o wisdom_n in_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n he_o be_v make_v our_o righteousness_n by_o the_o atonement_n for_o sin_n and_o imputation_n of_o righteousness_n he_o be_v make_v our_o
