exercise_n and_o employ_v in_o the_o work_n of_o prayer_n so_o whatsoever_o give_v the_o soul_n scope_n and_o liberty_n to_o exercise_v and_o employ_v this_o affection_n and_o devotion_n that_o do_v most_o effectual_o help_v and_o enlarge_v the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n and_o whatsoever_o divert_v the_o soul_n from_o employ_v such_o affection_n and_o devotion_n that_o do_v most_o direct_o stint_v heart_n too_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o while_o the_o head_n be_v so_o much_o employ_v the_o heart_n must_v be_v idle_a and_o very_o little_o employ_v and_o perhaps_o not_o at_o all_o and_o consequent_o if_o to_o pray_v by_o the_o spirit_n be_v to_o pray_v with_o the_o heart_n and_o the_o affection_n it_o be_v also_o as_o certain_a that_o while_o a_o man_n pray_v extempore_o he_o do_v not_o pray_v by_o the_o spirit_n nay_o the_o very_a truth_n of_o it_o be_v that_o while_o he_o be_v so_o do_v he_o be_v not_o pray_v at_o all_o but_o he_o be_v study_v he_o be_v beat_v his_o brain_n it_o among_o the_o jew_n and_o at_o that_o time_n most_o nation_n beside_o import_v these_o three_o qualification_n which_o be_v direct_o contrary_a to_o the_o spirit_n of_o christianity_n be_v by_o no_o mean_n to_o be_v allow_v in_o any_o of_o christ_n disciple_n 1._o the_o first_o whereof_o be_v that_o here_o mention_v in_o the_o text_n viz._n a_o utter_a unacquaintance_n with_o his_o master_n design_n in_o these_o word_n the_o servant_n know_v not_o what_o his_o lord_n do_v for_o seldom_o do_v any_o man_n of_o sense_n make_v his_o servant_n his_o counsellor_n for_o fear_v of_o make_v he_o
