choose_v to_o bear_v witness_n unto_o jesus_n and_o that_o worship_v set_v up_o by_o they_o when_o as_o moses_n have_v no_o book_n to_o proof_n he_o be_v choose_v of_o god_n but_o he_o have_v the_o power_n of_o miracle_n to_o prove_v he_o be_v send_v of_o god_n and_o the_o prophet_n after_o he_o have_v his_o writing_n to_o prove_v that_o god_n have_v appear_v to_o moses_n so_o that_o the_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n and_o let_v the_o light_n of_o life_n shine_v into_o their_o heart_n and_o no_o man_n can_v shut_v up_o their_o heart_n and_o he_o that_o can_v do_v this_o it_o god_n i_o suppose_v it_o will_v be_v confess_v by_o all_o but_o not_o believe_v but_o by_o few_o yet_o it_o be_v plain_a in_o john_n revelation_n that_o this_o god_n be_v no_o other_o but_o jesus_n christ_n seven_o to_o the_o angel_n of_o the_o church_n of_o the_o loadicean_o write_v these_o thing_n say_v the_o amen_o the_o faithful_a and_o true_a witness_n the_o beginning_n of_o the_o creation_n of_o a_o man_n because_o man_n be_v call_v a_o beast_n either_o a_o good_a beast_n or_o a_o evil_a beast_n as_o i_o have_v say_v before_o concern_v the_o four_o good_a beast_n they_o signify_v all_o good_a king_n and_o head-magistrate_n be_v all_o include_v in_o those_o four_o good_a beast_n so_o likewise_o all_o evil_a king_n and_o evil_a magistrate_n be_v include_v in_o those_o seven_o head_n which_o the_o beast_n have_v that_o arise_v out_o of_o the_o sea_n further_o the_o spirit_n of_o revelation_n in_o john_n do_v include_v all_o evil_a king_n and_o evil_a magistrate_n into_o one_o evil_a beast_n show_v that_o there_o be_v but_o one_o evil_a beast_n in_o who_o the_o evil_a spirit_n do_v reign_v in_o persecute_v man_n for_o conscience_n sake_n because_o they_o will_v not_o worship_v the_o beast_n image_n so_o that_o you_o that_o can_v discern_v between_o the_o spirit_n of_o reason_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o faith_n for_o these_o two_o spirit_n lie_v both_o hide_v in_o their_o two_o seed_n to_o wit_n the_o spirit_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o seed_n of_o god_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o reason_n in_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o serpent-angel_n or_o devil_n and_o according_a as_o these_o two_o spirit_n do_v work_v or_o operate_v in_o man_n man_n come_v to_o be_v a_o good_a beast_n or_o a_o evil_a beast_n so_o that_o who_o ever_o do_v discern_v clear_o between_o the_o two_o seed_n may_v read_v or_o count_v the_o number_n of_o the_o good_a beast_n and_o the_o number_n of_o the_o evil_a beast_n for_o this_o i_o say_v they_o be_v both_o but_o two_o man_n that_o be_v to_o say_v a_o good_a man_n and_o a_o evil_a man_n because_o the_o good_a spirit_n run_v through_o the_o line_n of_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n and_o cause_v good_a king_n and_o head-magistrate_n and_o all_o other_o of_o that_o seed_n to_o do_v well_o and_o to_o worship_n god_n aright_o as_o david_n do_v and_o not_o to_o persecute_v man_n for_o conscience_n sake_n so_o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o spirit_n of_o reason_n the_o devil_n it_o run_v through_o the_o line_n of_o the_o seed_n of_o reason_n and_o cause_v evil_a king_n and_o evil_a head-magistrate_n and_o other_o to_o do_v injustice_n and_o to_o worship_v a_o false_a god_n and_o persecute_v for_o conscience_n sake_n as_o king_n ahab_n do_v so_o that_o all_o good_a king_n and_o head-magistrate_n who_o have_v be_v guide_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n though_o many_o thousand_o of_o they_o they_o may_v be_v count_v by_o the_o spirit_n but_o one_o good_a beast_n because_o that_o one_o good_a spirit_n of_o god_n do_v act_n in_o they_o while_o they_o be_v here_o in_o this_o world_n so_o likewise_o though_o there_o have_v be_v many_o thousand_o evil_a king_n and_o evil_a head-magistrate_n yet_o they_o may_v be_v count_v by_o the_o spirit_n but_o one_o evil_a beast_n because_o that_o one_o evil_a spirit_n of_o reason_n the_o serpent_n devil_n do_v act_n in_o they_o little_a or_o much_o while_o they_o live_v in_o this_o king_n which_o be_v beast_n be_v there_o in_o that_o time_n while_o that_o worship_n stand_v that_o persecute_v the_o prophet_n and_o cause_v the_o people_n to_o worship_n baal_n and_o false_a god_n and_o so_o the_o ruler_n of_o israel_n who_o be_v head-magistrate_n who_o persecute_v the_o apostle_n and_o christ_n these_o be_v of_o those_o evil_a beast_n and_o when_o jerusalem_n be_v destroy_v by_o the_o roman_n than_o their_o power_n and_o persecution_n do_v cease_v and_o the_o roman_a gentile_n those_o emperor_n and_o king_n and_o head-magistrate_n they_o persecute_v the_o saint_n in_o the_o second_o commission_n and_o these_o beast_n aforementioned_a be_v those_o john_n see_v in_o his_o vision_n so_o that_o the_o number_n of_o these_o persecute_v evil_a beast_n who_o be_v from_o the_o beginning_n they_o be_v count_v by_o the_o spirit_n in_o john_n but_o the_o number_n of_o a_o man_n that_o be_v as_o much_o as_o to_o say_v they_o be_v but_o one_o man_n though_o six_o and_o so_o have_v a_o name_n by_o his_o suffering_n king_n of_o king_n and_o lord_n of_o lord_n as_o aforesaid_a chap._n lxxvii_o in_o this_o sixteenth_o verse_n john_n have_v conclude_v the_o be_v so_o that_o this_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v that_o this_o satan_n the_o devil_n shall_v deceive_v the_o nation_n in_o all_o the_o four_o quarter_n of_o the_o earth_n to_o their_o eternal_a perdition_n also_o it_o be_v to_o be_v mind_v that_o there_o be_v a_o principle_n of_o persecution_n for_o religion_n &_o worship_n even_o in_o gog_n and_o magog_n that_o be_v to_o say_v in_o all_o the_o heathen_a as_o there_o be_v in_o those_o that_o profess_v and_o confess_v the_o scripture_n for_o if_o gog_n and_o magog_n do_v but_o hear_v of_o any_o man_n or_o people_n that_o do_v worship_v any_o other_o god_n beside_o his_o god_n he_o will_v persecute_v he_o to_o death_n especial_o if_o he_o be_v a_o native_a under_o his_o dominion_n and_o so_o be_v it_o with_o all_o professor_n of_o religion_n who_o know_v not_o the_o true_a god_n nor_o his_o true_a worship_n so_o that_o satan_n the_o devil_n he_o have_v go_v forth_o unto_o all_o the_o four_o quarter_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o have_v deceive_v the_o nation_n therein_o with_o false_a worship_n and_o imagine_v of_o false_a god_n this_o many_o hundred_o year_n have_v they_o be_v deceive_v and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o there_o be_v a_o spirit_n of_o persecution_n that_o do_v run_v through_o the_o nation_n in_o all_o the_o four_o quarter_n of_o the_o earth_n even_o among_o professor_n of_o the_o scripture_n as_o there_o do_v in_o the_o heathen_a so_o that_o all_o the_o four_o quarter_n of_o the_o earth_n they_o fight_v against_o god_n and_o compass_v the_o camp_n of_o the_o saint_n about_o and_o the_o belove_a city_n the_o saint_n be_v call_v by_o the_o spirit_n the_o belove_a city_n so_o that_o this_o belove_a city_n must_v needs_o be_v compass_v about_o because_o the_o saint_n do_v live_v in_o the_o four_o quarter_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o four_o quarter_n of_o the_o earth_n be_v deceive_v by_o satan_n they_o persecute_v the_o saint_n every_o where_n so_o that_o they_o by_o by_o the_o gift_n of_o learning_n and_o by_o the_o natural_a wisdom_n of_o reason_n will_v undertake_v to_o interpret_v scripture_n and_o to_o be_v preacher_n to_o other_o without_o a_o commission_n from_o god_n and_o without_o any_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o so_o these_o man_n do_v come_v to_o add_v other_o interpretation_n of_o their_o own_o conceiving_n unto_o the_o scripture_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o mind_n of_o that_o spirit_n that_o write_v they_o and_o so_o they_o become_v capable_a to_o receive_v of_o those_o plague_n that_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n as_o aforesaid_a chap._n lxxxii_o also_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n to_o know_v that_o the_o same_o man_n that_o do_v add_v their_o conceiving_n unto_o this_o book_n the_o same_o sort_n of_o interpreter_n to_o expound_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n of_o the_o prophecy_n of_o that_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n or_o any_o other_o scripture_n only_o this_o some_o man_n mind_n be_v act_v out_o one_o way_n and_o some_o another_o some_o man_n so_o they_o may_v be_v suffer_v to_o speak_v their_o own_o fantasy_n upon_o the_o scripture_n so_o as_o to_o please_v themselves_o and_o their_o hearer_n that_o be_v they_o care_v not_o how_o much_o they_o add_v to_o this_o book_n not_o mind_v to_o take_v any_o thing_n from_o it_o it_o be_v not_o their_o principle_n to_o take_v any_o thing_n from_o the_o scripture_n but_o their_o delight_n be_v altogether_o to_o add_v their_o vain_a conception_n conceive_v the_o meaning_n thus_o and_o thus_o but_o he_o that_o take_v away_o from_o this_o book_n be_v such_o a_o one_o that_o will_v not_o suffer_v the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o the_o scripture_n nor_o of_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n because_o the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o the_o scripture_n overthrow_v all_o the_o principle_n of_o religion_n in_o the_o world_n so_o that_o if_o truth_n shall_v be_v suffer_v to_o have_v freedom_n in_o the_o world_n than_o all_o the_o old_a principle_n of_o religion_n that_o have_v be_v receive_v in_o the_o world_n so_o many_o hundred_o year_n by_o the_o pope_n and_o other_o they_o will_v quite_o fall_v to_o the_o ground_n so_o that_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o number_n of_o man_n to_o add_v unto_o this_o book_n and_o a_o number_n of_o man_n to_o take_v away_o from_o it_o for_o true_a revelation_n always_o have_v some_o to_o add_v to_o it_o and_o some_o to_o take_v from_o it_o so_o that_o he_o that_o take_v from_o it_o god_n will_v take_v his_o part_n out_o of_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o out_o of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o from_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n the_o meaning_n be_v this_o that_o as_o they_o will_v not_o suffer_v no_o true_a interpretation_n of_o the_o scripture_n to_o abide_v in_o the_o world_n but_o will_v take_v it_o quite_o away_o both_o the_o interpretation_n and_o the_o interpreter_n also_o so_o in_o like_a manner_n god_n will_v take_v his_o part_n out_o of_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o out_o of_o the_o holy_a city_n so_o that_o he_o shall_v have_v no_o part_n in_o that_o glory_n and_o everlasting_a to_o that_o glory_n and_o happiness_n that_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n when_o as_o alas_o alas_o he_o be_v one_o of_o they_o that_o have_v take_v away_o from_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n by_o persecute_v the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o it_o so_o that_o god_n have_v take_v away_o that_o part_n he_o think_v he_o have_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o that_o confidence_n he_o have_v in_o be_v a_o member_n of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o of_o the_o glory_n hereafter_o i_o say_v all_o these_o thing_n will_v god_n take_v away_o from_o those_o man_n that_o do_v take_v
