sometime_o but_o also_o run_v into_o so_o great_a tentation_n that_o he_o break_v some_o part_n of_o they_z which_o fall_v so_o grievous_o that_o they_o even_o deny_v the_o gospel_n must_v not_o be_v utter_o despeir_v of_o and_o so_o be_v bring_v to_o that_o pass_n that_o he_o fall_v and_o deni_v the_o gospel_n after_o the_o manner_n of_o peter_n who_o do_v forswear_v christ_n now_o if_o any_o shall_v so_o stumble_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v compel_v to_o go_v back_o &_o be_v utter_o cast_v down_o in_o mind_n nevertheless_o we_o must_v not_o as_o yet_o cast_v he_o of_o as_o though_o he_o so_o exercise_v and_o show_v his_o love_n that_o no_o man_n can_v worthy_o complain_v any_o whit_n of_o he_o whereby_o he_o shall_v trouble_v or_o dismay_v his_o conscience_n but_o that_o all_o that_o be_v the_o armour_n of_o light_n and_o it_o be_v requisite_a that_o all_o our_o life_n be_v undefiled_a and_o chaste_a it_o behove_v we_o sure_o never_o to_o put_v of_o this_o armour_n but_o we_o must_v be_v find_v always_o sober_a temperate_a watch_v labour_a and_o pray_v but_o those_o dote_a holy_a one_o one_o day_n taste_v nothing_o but_o bread_n &_o water_n &_o afterward_o three_o whole_a month_n they_o daily_o be_v drunken_a and_o eat_v excessive_o even_o until_o they_o be_v not_o well_o in_o their_o wit_n others_z fast_o so_o that_o at_o the_o evening_n they_o eat_v no_o meat_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n they_o make_v themselves_o drink_v with_o drink_v who_o be_v able_a to_o rehearse_v all_o their_o dotage_n and_o all_o their_o work_n of_o darkness_n all_o which_o proceed_v discreet_a &_o wise_a sort_n of_o the_o heathen_a and_o make_v that_o they_o hate_v the_o gospel_n without_o a_o cause_n which_o they_o think_v do_v teach_v this_o licentiousness_n and_o so_o as_o it_o be_v with_o a_o certain_a force_n they_o do_v by_o this_o their_o insolency_n repel_v and_o drive_v they_o from_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n for_o they_o measure_v all_o christian_n by_o these_o do_v detest_v they_o as_o light_v man_n and_o troubler_n of_o the_o common_a wealth_n and_o therefore_o not_o to_o be_v suffer_v this_o offence_n therefore_o and_o this_o reprehension_n or_o rather_o hatred_n and_o persecution_n of_o the_o gospel_n we_o acknowledge_v to_o come_v through_o these_o preposterous_a christian_n an_o other_o offence_n be_v whereby_o even_a christian_n among_o themselves_o be_v sometime_o offend_v through_o the_o unseasonable_a use_n of_o christian_a liberty_n in_o meat_n and_o other_o indifferent_a thing_n whereat_o the_o weak_a sort_n in_o faith_n do_v in_o danger_n by_o too_o much_o hunger_n and_o watch_v or_o the_o true_a purity_n of_o life_n by_o overmuch_o abstinence_n from_o matrimonial_a company_n but_o we_o must_v use_v these_o thing_n with_o knowledge_n that_o be_v with_o convenient_a wisdom_n and_o discretion_n that_o they_o may_v not_o any_o whit_n hurt_v but_o always_o edify_v whereupon_o paul_n 1_o cor._n 7._o express_o admonish_v be_v they_o remiss_a cold_a and_o faint_a in_o love_n so_o he_o set_v the_o word_n of_o truth_n against_o they_o which_o abuse_v the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o interpret_v it_o according_a to_o their_o own_o affection_n that_o thereby_o they_o may_v get_v they_o a_o name_n and_o profit_n for_o as_o false_a spirit_n do_v contemn_v the_o word_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o prefer_v themselves_o
