efficacy_n thereof_o not_o so_o receive_v the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n as_o to_o save_v they_o to_o baptize_v or_o wash_v they_o into_o christ_n for_o righteousness_n and_o strength_n for_o these_o wife_n also_o if_o he_o have_v one_o who_o be_v his_o own_o flesh_n or_o body_n yea_o he_o pollute_v and_o defile_v his_o member_n in_o make_v they_o the_o member_n of_o a_o harlot_n any_o that_o be_v not_o his_o own_o wife_n according_a to_o the_o marriage-covenant_n and_o become_v one_o flesh_n with_o she_o beside_o that_o therein_o he_o hazard_v and_o lay_v his_o body_n open_a to_o such_o noisome_a disease_n as_o be_v the_o proper_a fruit_n and_o meet_v recompense_n of_o such_o unrighteousness_n and_o so_o therein_o sin_n against_o his_o own_o body_n as_o much_o as_o if_o it_o do_v always_o certain_o follow_v ii_o they_o also_o therein_o more_o direct_o and_o abundant_o then_o in_o many_o other_o sin_n do_v wrong_a defile_v and_o destroy_v the_o soul_n and_o that_o both_o in_o suffer_v the_o mind_n to_o be_v cloud_v and_o darken_v and_o harden_v the_o heart_n against_o the_o light_n and_o instruction_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n as_o may_v make_v they_o fit_a to_o do_v they_o defile_v and_o destroy_v his_o own_o soul_n prov._n 6._o 32._o 2._o hereby_o they_o render_v themselves_o filthy_a and_o unclean_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n vessel_n unmeet_a for_o any_o peculiar_a use_n and_o service_n of_o the_o master_n such_o as_o in_o which_o he_o can_v take_v no_o pleasure_n for_o they_o herein_o break_v his_o appointment_n and_o order_n reject_v and_o despise_v his_o government_n and_o provision_n profane_a and_o defile_v his_o member_n to_o the_o service_n of_o unclean_a and_o filthy_a lust_n and_o therefore_o god_n accept_v they_o not_o but_o will_v destroy_v they_o as_o to_o their_o place_n and_o service_n in_o his_o temple_n aâ—_n aforesaid_a and_o blast_v their_o blessing_n and_o good_a thing_n to_o they_o and_o have_v no_o fellowship_n with_o they_o for_o he_o require_v cleanness_n and_o holiness_n in_o they_o that_o come_v near_o to_o he_o and_o will_v be_v sanctify_v by_o they_o yea_o this_o kind_n of_o uncleanness_n and_o so_o all_o filthiness_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n as_o it_o come_v under_o this_o head_n of_o fornication_n carnal_a or_o spiritual_a be_v especial_o brand_v with_o this_o note_n that_o god_n hate_v it_o rev._n 2._o 6_o 15-20_a 22._o with_o levit._fw-la 20._o 10-23_a 24._o mal._n 2._o 16._o and_o deut._n 12._o 31._o and_o 16._o 21_o 22._o 3._o such_o unclean_a lust_n not_o abstain_v from_o do_v also_o bring_v a_o blemish_n stain_n or_o blot_v upon_o they_o among_o man_n and_o that_o also_o to_o the_o blemish_v the_o worthy_a name_n of_o god_n if_o that_o be_v call_v upon_o they_o some_o other_o evil_n be_v more_o justifiable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o man_n which_o yet_o be_v abominable_a in_o god_n sight_n but_o this_o be_v not_o only_o abominable_a in_o god_n sight_n but_o of_o evil_a base_a and_o shameful_a report_n among_o man_n and_o especial_o to_o be_v find_v in_o such_o as_o be_v call_v by_o or_o call_v upon_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n a_o wound_n and_o dishonour_n shall_v he_o get_v and_o his_o reproach_n shall_v not_o be_v wipe_v away_o see_v prov._n 6._o 33._o yea_o so_o be_v they_o defile_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o man_n hereby_o as_o render_v their_o word_n and_o work_v unclean_a unacceptable_a to_o god_n unprofitable_a to_o man_n so_o that_o whatever_o right_a profession_n be_v hold_v forth_o by_o they_o as_o the_o lord_n delight_v not_o in_o it_o so_o also_o it_o be_v stain_v and_o its_o fruit_n hinder_v among_o man_n by_o its_o come_n out_o of_o their_o mouth_n until_o they_o be_v wash_v deliver_v and_o quit_v from_o those_o pollution_n and_o the_o guilt_n of_o they_o before_o god_n and_o in_o such_o wise_a as_o it_o may_v in_o some_o measure_n appear_v to_o man_n that_o they_o be_v so_o whence_o david_n pray_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o bloudguiltiness_n that_o his_o tongue_n may_v sing_v aloud_o of_o god_n righteousness_n and_o so_o that_o god_n will_v open_v his_o lip_n and_o then_o he_o say_v his_o mouth_n shall_v show_v forth_o his_o praise_n signify_v thereby_o that_o his_o lip_n be_v shut_v by_o god_n just_a correction_n and_o by_o the_o sense_n of_o shame_n and_o guilt_n of_o his_o murder_n and_o adultery_n
