the_o first_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n it_o be_v a_o sign_n he_o be_v under_o the_o dominion_n of_o sin_n seven_o when_o a_o man_n abstain_v from_o sin_n not_o only_o out_o of_o a_o natural_a conscience_n but_o of_o a_o spiritual_a for_o a_o natural_a conscience_n may_v deceive_v he_o for_o there_o be_v three_o degree_n of_o conscience_n yet_o be_v natural_a first_o a_o profane_a man_n have_v some_o conscience_n second_o a_o civil_a man_n have_v more_o conscience_n three_o a_o godly_a man_n have_v most_o conscience_n paul_n speak_v of_o the_o heathen_a that_o they_o have_v a_o conscience_n that_o do_v accuse_v excuse_v they_o but_o when_o a_o man_n do_v not_o commit_v sin_n be_v enlighten_v by_o a_o spiritual_a conscience_n which_o be_v when_o a_o man_n have_v a_o love_n to_o the_o contrary_a grace_n and_o be_v carry_v with_o a_o certain_a desire_n to_o do_v it_o as_o man_n ●ate_z though_o there_o be_v no_o reward_n and_o hate_v the_o sin_n and_o will_v not_o commit_v it_o but_o a_o man_n may_v have_v a_o restraint_n from_o a_o natural_a conscience_n yet_o it_o may_v have_v dominion_n over_o he_o because_o it_o be_v as_o a_o bark_a dog_n that_o keep_v the_o thee●e_n rob_v when_o a_o man_n first_o do_v not_o purpose_n to_o commit_v the_o sin_n second_o have_v reluctancy_n in_o the_o commit_n of_o it_o three_o grieve_v afterward_o and_o rise_v with_o a_o bette●_n resolution_n not_o to_o do_v it_o but_o if_o this_o proceed_v from_o a_o natural_a conscience_n it_o be_v nothing_o but_o if_o it_o proceed_v from_o a_o spiritual_a conscience_n and_o ha●red_v of_o sin_n this_o be_v a_o good_a sign_n nint_o when_o after_o strive_v we_o have_v the_o victory_n for_o we_o shall_v have_v the_o victory_n if_o we_o strive_v aright_o this_o take_v way_n their_o excuse_n that_o say_v it_o be_v their_o infirmity_n but_o if_o they_o lie_v not_o in_o sin_n they_o will_v have_v the_o victory_n over_o it_o else_o thou_o be_v not_o a_o king_n for_o a_o king_n be_v victorious_a yet_o a_o king_n may_v have_v rebel_n yea_o he_o may_v be_v wound_v yet_o he_o keep_v his_o power_n so_o the_o saint_n may_v have_v many_o infirmity_n yea_o they_o may_v have_v sound_n fail_v yet_o in_o the_o end_n they_o have_v the_o victory_n god_n shall_v tread_v satan_n under_o their_o fear_n wherefore_o the_o godly_a man_n heart_n though_o he_o fail_v sometime_o be_v like_o a_o trouble_a fountain_n which_o though_o it_o be_v muddy_a yet_o because_o their_o be_v a_o spring_n
