his_o belly_n shall_v flow_v river_n of_o live_a water_n ver._n 39_o this_o speak_v he_o of_o the_o spirit_n this_o then_o be_v the_o new_a thing_n which_o the_o lord_n do_v he_o turn_v the_o outward_a face_n of_o thing_n in_o church_n and_o commonwealth_n into_o a_o wilderness_n put_v all_o into_o confusion_n that_o no_o human_a eye_n can_v see_v any_o way_n either_o forward_o or_o backward_o then_o he_o come_v forth_o with_o new_a extraordinary_a appearance_n in_o christ_n as_o the_o pillar_n of_o a_o cloud_n bury_v all_o the_o light_n and_o life_n of_o the_o creature_n in_o the_o darkness_n of_o christ_n death_n as_o a_o pillar_n of_o fire_n shine_v and_o sparkle_v forth_o with_o a_o new_a light_n and_o heat_n from_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o resurrection_n these_o extraordinary_a appearance_n in_o christ_n the_o lord_n make_v his_o way_n in_o which_o he_o walk_v and_o into_o which_o he_o lead_v his_o people_n to_o walk_v with_o he_o in_o his_o wonder_n through_o the_o church_n and_o the_o nation_n when_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n become_v a_o desert_n like_o a_o winter-brook_n that_o be_v pass_v away_o and_o decive_v the_o expectation_n of_o the_o weary_a traveller_n all_o spring_n of_o wisdom_n counsel_n help_v comfort_v in_o the_o creature_n be_v dry_v up_o then_o the_o lord_n come_v forth_o in_o mighty_a and_o miraculous_a work_n after_o the_o newness_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o fresh_a flow_n of_o that_o and_o make_v it_o to_o be_v as_o river_n in_o the_o desert_n river_n have_v these_o property_n first_o they_o be_v from_o a_o live_a spire_v second_o they_o flow_v along_o with_o a_o great_a breadth_n depth_n and_o force_n three_o they_o flow_v continual_o run_v along_o still_o with_o a_o fresh_a succession_n of_o new_a water_n from_o the_o head_n of_o the_o river_n four_o they_o make_v all_o thing_n cheerful_a and_o flourish_v round_o about_o they_o so_o do_v the_o lord_n in_o the_o desert_n of_o the_o creature_n put_v forth_o himself_o by_o his_o spirit_n with_o a_o irresistible_a force_n a_o uncessant_a newness_n with_o a_o quickness_n of_o life_n a_o breadth_n and_o depth_n of_o design_n from_o the_o immediate_a fountain_n of_o the_o godhead_n three_o it_o be_v observable_a here_o that_o the_o saint_n be_v they_o who_o peculiar_o drink_v of_o these_o river_n they_o have_v the_o immediate_a inward_a sense_n strength_n joy_n glory_n the_o chief_n end_v and_o benefit_n of_o these_o outgoing_n of_o the_o godhead_n but_o natural_a man_n signify_v by_o the_o beast_n of_o the_o field_n the_o power_n of_o this_o world_n yea_o the_o most_o ignorant_a and_o unbelieving_a that_o sit_v in_o the_o great_a darkness_n which_o be_v as_o the_o owl_n nay_o more_o than_o that_o the_o dragon_n the_o profanene_a and_o wicked_a person_n both_o prince_n and_o state_n who_o have_v the_o great_a enmity_n to_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n all_o these_o shall_v acknowledge_v and_o give_v glory_n to_o the_o lord_n in_o these_o miraculous_a work_n of_o his_o from_o heaven_n partly_o for_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o conviction_n by_o the_o presence_n and_o cleverness_n of_o the_o appearance_n of_o god_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o they_o before_o their_o eye_n as_o be_v signify_v verse_n 19_o now_o it_o shall_v spring_v forth_o shall_v you_o not_o see_v it_o partly_o for_o the_o relief_n and_o the_o refresh_n which_o shall_v be_v extend_v to_o they_o also_o in_o their_o natural_a man_n and_o civil_a affair_n for_o so_o it_o be_v say_v verse_n 20._o they_o shall_v honour_v i_o because_o i_o
