and_o with_o it_o many_o other_o grace_n as_o prayer_n patience_n etc._n etc._n and_o make_v these_o grace_n the_o better_a to_o show_v themselves_o see_v that_o our_o saviour_n christ_n begin_v his_o prophetical_a office_n of_o teach_v the_o church_n of_o god_n with_o temptation_n 3_o this_o shall_v admonish_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o they_o of_o all_o other_o man_n be_v subject_a to_o satan_n temptation_n because_o they_o be_v the_o lord_n standard-bearer_n and_o his_o lieutenant_n against_o who_o satan_n and_o all_o his_o soldier_n bend_v all_o their_o force_n temptation_n these_o four_o make_v a_o divine_a the_o second_o point_n to_o be_v consider_v be_v what_o be_v the_o cause_n which_o move_v our_o saviour_n christ_n to_o go_v into_o the_o wilderness_n and_o send_v his_o spirit_n objection_n christ_n send_v the_o holy_a ghost_n objection_n therefore_o can_v be_v lead_v by_o it_o answer_n ans._n as_o christ_n be_v man_n he_o be_v guide_v by_o god_n a_o full_a persuasion_n which_o you_o shall_v have_v for_o the_o holy_a ghost_n will_v not_o bare_o say_v it_o but_o persuade_v you_o that_o you_o be_v god_n child_n which_o the_o flesh_n can_v do_v second_o by_o the_o manner_n of_o persuasion_n for_o the_o holy_a ghost_n draw_v not_o reason_n from_o the_o work_n and_o worthiness_n of_o man_n but_o from_o god_n favour_n and_o love_n and_o this_o kind_n of_o persuasion_n differ_v much_o from_o that_o which_o satan_n use_v three_o by_o the_o effect_n of_o that_o testimony_n for_o if_o the_o persuasion_n arise_v from_o presumption_n it_o be_v a_o dead_a persuasion_n but_o contrariwise_o it_o be_v most_o lively_a and_o stir_a if_o it_o come_v from_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o such_o as_o be_v persuade_v that_o they_o be_v elect_v and_o adopt_v the_o child_n of_o god_n they_o will_v love_v god_n trust_v in_o he_o and_o call_v upon_o he_o with_o their_o whole_a heart_n lydia_n alas_o i_o find_v this_o testimony_n marvelous_a feeble_a partly_o magnify_v the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o partly_o do_v wait_v and_o pray_v for_o the_o consummation_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n and_o full_a felicity_n in_o body_n and_o soul_n reu._n 5._o 8._o and_o when_o he_o have_v take_v the_o book_n the_o four_o beast_n and_o the_o four_o and_o twenty_o elder_n fall_v down_o before_o the_o lamb_n have_v every_o one_o harp_n and_o golden_a vial_n full_a of_o odour_n which_o be_v the_o prayer_n of_o the_o saint_n 9_o and_o they_o sing_v a_o new_a song_n say_v thou_o be_v worthy_a to_o take_v the_o book_n and_o to_o open_v the_o seal_v
