in_o variety_n of_o other_o colour_n and_o the_o worm_n seem_v like_o man_n flesh_n in_o who_o they_o be_v breed_v both_o in_o colour_n and_o substance_n and_o in_o life_n sense_n and_o motion_n yet_o they_o can_v be_v call_v image_n because_o they_o be_v not_o like_a in_o shape_n nor_o outward_a form_n nor_o in_o any_o property_n but_o only_o in_o some_o quality_n and_o small_a resemblance_n but_o the_o picture_n or_o statue_n make_v after_o a_o man_n and_o in_o many_o thing_n like_o he_o though_o more_o like_o another_o man_n then_o he_o yet_o it_o be_v his_o image_n and_o not_o the_o image_n and_o picture_n of_o another_o so_o the_o figure_n of_o a_o man_n appear_v in_o a_o glass_n when_o he_o stand_v before_o it_o though_o it_o differ_v in_o nature_n and_o substance_n and_o be_v but_o a_o vanish_v shadow_n yet_o because_o in_o outward_a shape_n form_n and_o colour_v it_o be_v very_o like_a and_o be_v express_v in_o the_o glass_n by_o he_o look_v in_o it_o therefore_o be_v his_o image_n and_o the_o impression_n of_o a_o stamp_n or_o seal_v make_v in_o wax_n or_o well_o temper_v clay_n be_v the_o image_n of_o that_o stamp_n or_o seal_v though_o it_o be_v not_o perfect_o like_a by_o reason_n of_o some_o small_a defect_n in_o the_o wax_n clay_n or_o stamp_v and_o the_o impression_n of_o another_o seal_n engrave_v with_o the_o same_o figure_n or_o letter_n may_v be_v in_o accidental_a image_n of_o god_n his_o creator_n we_o be_v to_o observe_v and_o take_v notice_n of_o these_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o god_n do_v frame_v man_n nature_n even_o his_o whole_a soul_n and_o body_n after_o himself_o with_o intent_n that_o both_o his_o substance_n 1._o and_o natural_a property_n and_o endowment_n may_v take_v their_o pattern_n from_o he_o his_o creator_n that_o be_v in_o a_o word_n god_n himself_o be_v the_o original_n and_o chief_a pattern_n by_o which_o alone_a man_n be_v make_v and_o form_v second_o that_o though_o divers_a other_o creature_n have_v in_o divers_a 2._o thing_n more_o resemblance_n of_o god_n than_o man_n have_v as_o the_o heaven_n in_o large_a comprehension_n of_o the_o visible_a world_n the_o sun_n in_o glorious_a brightness_n beauty_n and_o majesty_n the_o high_a heaven_n in_o glory_n and_o immutability_n and_o all_o creature_n as_o they_o have_v essence_n and_o be_v and_o be_v make_v good_a and_o perfect_a in_o their_o kind_n have_v some_o more_o some_o few_o impression_n and_o resemblance_n of_o god_n in_o his_o essence_n and_o attribute_n yet_o none_o can_v be_v call_v the_o image_n of_o god_n among_o all_o visible_a creature_n but_o only_a man_n because_o though_o god_n form_v all_o thing_n after_o his_o own_o will_n wisdom_n and_o goodness_n yet_o he_o make_v no_o visible_a creature_n live_v or_o without_o life_n so_o far_o resemble_v himself_o in_o his_o nature_n and_o essential_a property_n that_o it_o may_v just_o or_o with_o good_a reason_n be_v call_v his_o image_n but_o only_o man_n as_o man_n alone_o of_o all_o creature_n under_o heaven_n be_v make_v in_o the_o image_n of_o god_n so_o man_n alone_o do_v so_o plain_o resemble_v god_n be_v so_o stamp_v with_o the_o impression_n of_o god_n property_n and_o in_o his_o whole_a nature_n and_o frame_n be_v make_v so_o fit_a a_o subject_n for_o god_n to_o dwell_v in_o and_o to_o be_v conform_v to_o god_n and_o wherein_o god_n may_v show_v his_o wisdom_n power_n goodness_n liberty_n of_o will_n justice_n mercy_n and_o other_o attribute_n that_o he_o only_o of_o all_o visible_a creature_n can_v true_o be_v call_v the_o image_n of_o god_n let_v we_o now_o therefore_o in_o the_o next_o place_n come_v to_o the_o thing_n god_n wherein_o this_o image_n of_o god_n do_v consist_v and_o in_o respect_n of_o which_o thing_n man_n
