will_v be_v for_o a_o prince_n or_o one_o that_o be_v heir_n to_o a_o earthly_a kingdom_n to_o go_v up_o and_o down_o in_o beggar_n apparel_n and_o associate_v himself_o with_o the_o mean_a and_o base_a of_o the_o people_n and_o expose_v himself_o to_o such_o a_o contemptible_a course_n of_o life_n as_o to_o spend_v his_o time_n in_o the_o work_n of_o drudgery_n and_o slavish_a employment_n and_o take_v up_o his_o lodging_n with_o beggar_n on_o a_o dunghill_n or_o under_o a_o hedge_n and_o yet_o keep_v up_o his_o princely_a profession_n and_o proclaim_v himself_o to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o a_o king_n and_o heir_n to_o a_o kingdom_n i_o say_v it_o will_v be_v account_v a_o very_a unsuitable_a thing_n and_o a_o great_a dishonour_n to_o one_o of_o his_o degree_n and_o it_o will_v very_o much_o stain_v and_o diminish_v his_o reputation_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o world_n and_o render_v he_o very_o ridiculous_a among_o his_o friend_n and_o relation_n how_o much_o more_o will_v it_o be_v a_o unsuitable_a thing_n for_o we_o that_o profess_v ourselves_o to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o prince_n of_o heaven_n and_o heir_n to_o a_o eternal_a kingdom_n if_o we_o shall_v suffer_v the_o rag_n of_o unrighteousness_n to_o rest_v upon_o we_o and_o go_v along_o with_o the_o wicked_a in_o the_o path_n of_o impurity_n and_o exercise_v ourselves_o in_o the_o devil_n drudgery_n and_o set_v our_o affection_n upon_o the_o unprofitable_a dunghill_n of_o this_o life_n &_o take_v up_o our_o lodging_n here_o under_o the_o hedge_n of_o earthly_a vanity_n oh_o how_o unsuitable_a will_v it_o be_v to_o our_o heavenly_a profession_n and_o how_o great_o will_v it_o derogate_v from_o god_n and_o diminish_v the_o reputation_n of_o godliness_n and_o how_o unworthy_a and_o unfit_a shall_v we_o render_v ourselves_o of_o such_o a_o glorious_a inheritance_n and_o we_o shall_v cause_v the_o way_n of_o truth_n to_o be_v mighty_o abuse_v and_o manifest_v ourselves_o to_o be_v no_o better_o than_o hypocrite_n therefore_o now_o let_v we_o endeavour_v to_o regulate_v and_o order_v our_o conversation_n aright_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o walk_v circumspect_o both_o in_o word_n and_o action_n redeem_v the_o time_n because_o the_o day_n be_v evil_a and_o let_v no_o corrupt_a communication_n proceed_v out_o of_o our_o mouth_n nor_o no_o first_o negative_o what_o be_v not_o the_o reason_n i_o do_v not_o believe_v that_o the_o cause_n lie_v at_o all_o in_o god_n but_o altogether_o in_o man_n it_o be_v not_o because_o god_n have_v determine_v or_o absolute_o decree_v that_o no_o more_o shall_v be_v save_v as_o some_o weak_o imagine_v for_o god_n desire_v not_o the_o death_n of_o a_o sinner_n nor_o delight_n in_o the_o destruction_n of_o any_o man_n but_o rather_o grieve_v and_o mourn_v over_o person_n for_o their_o iniquity_n and_o for_o destroy_v themselves_o and_o be_v trouble_v and_o sorrowful_a that_o they_o as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v although_o i_o shall_v walk_v in_o a_o dangerous_a valley_n and_o my_o enemy_n at_o the_o top_n of_o the_o hill_n ready_a to_o overwhelm_v i_o with_o destruction_n and_o though_o death_n shall_v pursue_v i_o and_o be_v as_o near_o to_o i_o as_o my_o shadow_n yet_o will_v i_o fear_v no_o evil_n why_o david_n what_o be_v the_o matter_n that_o thou_o be_v so_o exceed_o transport_v above_o the_o fear_n of_o evil_a certain_o thou_o have_v some_o reason_n for_o it_o thou_o can_v never_o be_v so_o full_a of_o courage_n in_o such_o eminent_a danger_n as_o thou_o speak_v of_o if_o thou_o have_v not_o something_o more_o than_o ordinary_a to_o support_v thy_o spirit_n see_v the_o reason_n therefore_o in_o the_o follow_a word_n the_o lord_n be_v with_o me._n there_o be_v the_o business_n there_o be_v that_o which_o be_v sufficient_a to_o fortify_v my_o soul_n against_o all_o fear_n whatsoever_o thy_o rod_n and_o thy_o staff_n they_o comfort_v i_o as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v although_o thy_o rod_n do_v a_o little_a correct_v i_o yet_o thy_o staff_n do_v exceed_o support_v i_o and_o thy_o presence_n do_v very_o much_o refresh_v attend_v we_o and_o when_o our_o enemy_n be_v most_o implacable_a against_o we_o and_o talk_v of_o stoning_n of_o we_o and_o banish_v of_o we_o and_o put_v of_o we_o to_o death_n and_o the_o like_a let_v we_o with_o david_n encourage_v ourselves_o in_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n 1_o sam._n 30.6_o and_o let_v we_o consider_v the_o lord_n be_v with_o we_o and_o he_o be_v a_o present_a help_n in_o people_n let_v we_o not_o fear_v what_o man_n can_v do_v unto_o we_o reas_n 2._o why_o we_o shall_v not_o fear_v man_n because_o the_o lord_n himself_o will_v engage_v and_o fight_v against_o the_o reason_n to_o arm_v we_o against_o the_o fear_n of_o man_n because_o the_o lord_n have_v engage_v to_o deal_v with_o our_o adversary_n in_o judgement_n and_o recompense_n fury_n upon_o our_o enemy_n for_o all_o their_o tyranny_n towards_o we_o and_o will_v assure_o work_v deliverance_n and_o salvation_n for_o his_o people_n from_o all_o their_o trouble_n see_v that_o notable_a text_n isa_n 49.25_o 26._o but_o thus_o say_v the_o lord_n even_o the_o captive_n of_o the_o mighty_a shall_v be_v take_v away_o and_o the_o prey_n of_o the_o terrible_a shall_v be_v deliver_v for_o i_o will_v contend_v with_o they_o that_o contend_v with_o thou_o and_o i_o will_v save_v thy_o child_n and_o i_o will_v feed_v they_o that_o oppress_v thou_o with_o their_o own_o flesh_n and_o they_o shall_v
