which_o he_o bring_v upon_o his_o people_n which_o he_o use_v to_o purge_v and_o purify_v their_o soul_n and_o his_o church_n too_o and_o from_o hence_o affliction_n be_v compair_v to_o a_o refiner_n fire_n he_o shall_v set_v as_o a_o refiner_n fire_n and_o purifier_n of_o silver_n he_o that_o be_v the_o messiah_n i._n e._n our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n this_o be_v his_o 3_o work_n viz._n to_o trial_n and_o affliction_n common_o make_v a_o great_a discovery_n who_o be_v wheat_n or_o pure_a gold_n viz._n sincere_a believer_n and_o who_o drossy_a and_o chaffy_a professor_n if_o wheat_n persecution_n purge_v and_o purify_v they_o but_o if_o they_o be_v chaff_n it_o usual_o fan_n they_o away_o but_o he_o that_o receive_v the_o seed_n in_o stony_a place_n the_o same_o be_v he_o which_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o anon_o with_o joy_n recive_v it_o yet_o have_v he_o not_o root_v in_o himself_o but_o endure_v for_o a_o while_n for_o when_o tribulation_n or_o persecution_n arise_v because_o 21._o of_o the_o word_n by_o and_o by_o he_o be_v offend_v thus_o the_o fan_n of_o persecution_n purge_v these_o chaffy_a professor_n out_o of_o christ_n spiritual_a floor_n or_o rather_o his_o garner_n namely_o his_o church_n into_o which_o in_o a_o day_n of_o liberty_n they_o get_v and_o have_v a_o place_n but_o they_o can_v bear_v the_o wind_n and_o blast_v of_o affliction_n and_o tribulation_n and_o as_o it_o purge_v out_o much_o chaff_n so_o also_o the_o wheat_n be_v thereby_o refine_a and_o make_v more_o clean_a and_o fit_a for_o the_o lord_n use_v of_o so_o great_a benefit_n be_v persecution_n to_o god_n church_n that_o they_o can_v some_o time_n be_v without_o it_o it_o be_v if_o need_v be_v that_o we_o be_v in_o heaviness_n if_o we_o need_v it_o not_o or_o ruin_n of_o the_o soul_n will_v be_v unavoidable_a for_o without_o the_o holy_a spirit_n no_o man_n can_v repent_v believe_v or_o be_v renew_v be_v regenerate_v and_o so_o come_v to_o have_v interest_n in_o this_o so_o great_a salvation_n 3._o such_o quench_v the_o spirit_n who_o neglect_v this_o salvation_n and_o do_v not_o believe_v it_o be_v to_o cast_v water_n on_o that_o divine_a
