apply_v the_o i_o rite_n of_o christ_n see_v this_o application_n can_v stand_v by_o their_o own_o confession_n without_o a_o real_a sacrifice_v of_o christ_n for_o say_v not_o in_o apostle_n here_o therefore_o he_o be_v some_o way_n so_o describe_v that_o the_o people_n must_v needs_o be_v lead_v to_o acknowledge_v still_o the_o covenant_n which_o they_o have_v in_o he_o so_o in_o this_o captivity_n of_o babylon_n the_o prophet_n jeremy_n foretell_v their_o delivery_n thus_o that_o they_o shall_v return_v to_o serve_v god_n and_o david_n their_o king_n david_n be_v 14._o before_o dead_a and_o again_o he_o will_v raise_v up_o to_o david_n a_o righteous_a branch_n who_o they_o shall_v call_v the_o lord_n our_o righteousness_n which_o must_v needs_o be_v mean_v of_o the_o messiah_n who_o they_o look_v for_o to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o david_n and_o express_o he_o note_v their_o return_n into_o the_o favour_n of_o god_o with_o the_o same_o word_n with_o which_o god_n shall_v be_v all_o teach_v of_o god_n even_o so_o here_o in_o this_o psalm_n the_o prophet_n sore_o tell_v their_o return_n from_o babylon_n forseeth_a the_o redemption_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n and_o break_v out_o in_o complaint_n of_o his_o short_a life_n because_o he_o shall_v not_o tarry_v to_o see_v the_o day_n and_o to_o comfort_v himself_o again_o speak_v out_o in_o spirit_n what_o be_v say_v that_o god_n the_o father_n by_o he_o make_v the_o world_n that_o phrase_n of_o speech_n diminish_v not_o his_o glory_n but_o rather_o testify_v it_o more_o clear_o for_o we_o have_v say_v proof_n of_o this_o excellency_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n above_o all_o angel_n and_o with_o this_o testimony_n our_o saviour_n christ_n himself_o confute_v the_o phariseis_n when_o they_o deny_v his_o divinity_n reason_v of_o the_o force_n of_o this_o word_n lord_n because_o the_o comparison_n than_o be_v with_o david_n these_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n to_o which_o of_o the_o angel_n say_v he_o at_o any_o time_n etc_n etc_n they_o show_v plain_o what_o glory_n it_o be_v to_o sit_v on_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n for_o when_o the_o apostle_n say_v the_o like_a be_v never_o say_v to_o angel_n that_o be_v such_o glory_n be_v never_o give_v they_o what_o can_v it_o else_o mean_a but_o that_o christ_n be_v confess_v to_o be_v one_o god_n with_o his_o father_n or_o what_o can_v execute_v for_o the_o contempt_n of_o his_o gospel_n and_o our_o eye_n and_o the_o eye_n of_o our_o child_n this_o day_n have_v see_v it_o if_o we_o will_v not_o be_v warn_v but_o do_v as_o we_o do_v despise_v the_o gospel_n more_o than_o all_o nation_n round_o about_o we_o suffer_v mocker_n and_o scorner_n to_o make_v their_o banquet_n among_o we_o give_v leave_n to_o proud_a man_n to_o have_v not_o to_o be_v pretermit_v that_o he_o say_v not_o it_o be_v teach_v we_o but_o it_o be_v confirm_v unto_o we_o which_o may_v be_v say_v even_o of_o paul_n himself_o be_v confirm_v by_o ananias_n and_o confer_v with_o peter_n james_n john_n etc_n etc_n and_o many_o other_o way_n therefore_o this_o be_v a_o thing_n still_o doubtful_a and_o whether_o it_o be_v paul_n or_o not_o paul_n we_o can_v tell_v that_o he_o say_v here_o of_o sign_n wonder_n and_o power_n he_o call_v miracle_n sign_n because_o they_o be_v testimony_n &_o seal_n to_o we_o of_o the_o doctrine_n to_o be_v from_o god_n he_o call_v they_o wonder_n because_o they_o be_v strange_a and_o show_v a_o unwonted_a work_n not_o know_v of_o man_n he_o call_v they_o power_n because_o they_o have_v a_o evident_a proof_n of_o the_o power_n of_o god_n the_o sundry_a distribution_n of_o the_o spirit_n he_o call_v the_o extraordinary_a gift_n which_o follow_v those_o that_o do_v heleeve_v as_o our_o saviour_n christ_n promise_v &_o word_n though_o where_o this_o be_v confess_v with_o a_o single_a heart_n and_o a_o mind_n willing_a to_o learn_v more_o god_n may_v and_o will_v for_o his_o christ_n sake_n accept_v it_o unto_o salvation_n yet_o we_o that_o have_v receive_v of_o the_o lord_n both_o time_n and_o ability_n ought_v more_o exact_o to_o understand_v if_o we_o will_v not_o be_v despiser_n of_o the_o manifold_a grace_n of_o god_n as_o for_o example_n the_o child_n be_v teach_v that_o there_o be_v but_o one_o god_n above_o all_o and_o to_o worship_v he_o alone_o who_o he_o confess_v in_o three_o distinct_a person_n the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n sure_o a_o young_a christian_a man_n which_o with_o this_o faith_n shall_v humble_v himself_o before_o god_n and_o cry_v our_o father_n
