receive_v some_o bright_a evident_a and_o glorious_a truth_n which_o he_o see_v plain_o to_o be_v true_a and_o heavenly_a but_o receive_v it_o not_o of_o man_n by_o hear_v or_o read_v but_o of_o god_n alone_o by_o meditation_n and_o yet_o he_o shall_v meet_v with_o another_o man_n so_o far_o from_o he_o or_o with_o some_o work_n of_o one_o so_o far_o afore_o he_o which_o will_v tell_v the_o same_o truth_n as_o be_v by_o that_o one_o teacher_n also_o reveal_v unto_o they_o again_o there_o be_v among_o the_o martyr_n and_o father_n man_n of_o as_o great_a and_o sound_a understanding_n as_o any_o of_o these_o wizard_n be_v yea_o they_o have_v at_o first_o as_o much_o contemn_a and_o reject_v christ_n by_o their_o natural_a knowledge_n yet_o at_o length_n they_o have_v change_v their_o mind_n and_o have_v seek_v he_o as_o ardent_o as_o before_o they_o contemn_v he_o despiteful_o now_o you_o can_v imagine_v that_o they_o will_v have_v forsake_v the_o light_n of_o their_o natural_a reason_n but_o that_o they_o see_v a_o more_o glorious_a light_n neither_o will_v they_o have_v spare_v their_o candle_n but_o upon_o the_o rise_n of_o the_o sun_n and_o sure_o these_o seer_n do_v as_o much_o wonder_n at_o the_o natural_a man_n not_o see_v as_o the_o not-seer_n at_o the_o see_v but_o the_o god_n of_o this_o world_n have_v blind_v their_o eye_n that_o the_o glorious_a light_n of_o the_o crookedness_n in_o a_o comparison_n with_o a_o goodman_n righteousness_n he_o find_v this_o comparison_n of_o righteousness_n to_o be_v a_o check_n and_o reproof_n to_o his_o crookedness_n but_o whatsoever_o the_o cause_n be_v too_o true_a it_o be_v that_o unlikeness_n have_v make_v many_o quarrel_n between_o they_o and_o these_o quarrel_n of_o unlikeness_n too_o often_o flow_v from_o the_o opposition_n of_o complexion_n against_o sanctification_n the_o sanctify_a man_n be_v free_a from_o all_o complexion_n yet_o sundry_a time_n upon_o sundry_a occasion_n serve_v himself_o of_o sundry_a complexion_n &_o then_o common_o he_o be_v censure_v by_o the_o servant_n of_o those_o complexion_n that_o be_v contrary_a to_o those_o that_o be_v his_o servant_n for_o indeed_o the_o spiritual_a man_n be_v the_o lord_n of_o complexion_n but_o the_o carnal_a be_v their_o servant_n hence_o as_o they_o fight_v among_o themselves_o so_o most_o common_o they_o fight_v all_o with_o he_o for_o the_o spiritual_a be_v of_o no_o faction_n nor_o severaltie_n but_o affect_v universal_a goodness_n serve_v himself_o of_o the_o goodness_n of_o each_o complexion_n and_o refuse_v the_o vice_n and_o extremity_n of_o it_o so_o by_o reason_n son_n of_o his_o different_a temper_n from_o all_o he_o have_v enemy_n of_o all_o be_v virtus_n in_o medio_fw-la vitiorum_fw-la hence_o the_o styptic_a and_o hidebound_a or_o angry_a christian_a when_o he_o see_v the_o spiritual_a man_n converse_v with_o sinner_n though_o perchance_o with_o hope_n of_o edification_n and_o cure_n or_o some_o evidence_n of_o smoke_a grace_n he_o cry_v out_o against_o he_o and_o call_v he_o goodfellow_n a_o eater_n with_o publican_n and_o sinner_n if_o he_o see_v he_o use_v some_o lawful_a comfort_n &_o recreation_n he_o call_v he_o a_o glutton_n a_o drunkard_n a_o libertine_n if_o he_o see_v he_o conversant_a with_o man_n of_o the_o contrary_a faction_n or_o excuse_v a_o ceremony_n for_o the_o love_n of_o peace_n he_o doubt_v of_o his_o salvation_n and_o hold_v he_o to_o be_v fall_v from_o the_o faith_n and_o take_v he_o for_o little_a less_o than_o one_o of_o the_o damn_a if_o the_o sociable_a sanguine_a and_o neighbourly_a christian_a see_v the_o spiritual_a man_n with_o a_o notable_a difference_n to_o affect_v those_o that_o excel_v in_o virtue_n to_o condemn_v the_o drunken_a meeting_n of_o carnal_a feast_n the_o lascivious_a gesture_n of_o dance_a provocation_n the_o beastly_a mirth_n of_o tongue_n tip_v with_o filthiness_n the_o profanation_n of_o time_n consecrate_v to_o divine_a use_n the_o contempt_n of_o god_n word_n and_o the_o careless_a bury_v it_o in_o fleshly_a recreation_n he_o cry_v out_o upon_o his_o purity_n and_o defy_v it_o and_o say_v too_o much_o religion_n have_v make_v he_o mad_a if_o the_o lazy_a phlegmatic_a hear_v the_o right_a christian_a cry_n aloud_o to_o the_o sleeper_n in_o security_n away_o thou_o that_o sleep_v and_o stand_v up_o from_o the_o man_n against_o all_o man_n and_o all_o man_n against_o he_o yet_o to_o the_o child_n of_o wisdom_n it_o be_v a_o testimonial_a and_o encouragement_n that_o be_v indeed_o true_a wisdom_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o corruption_n of_o all_o humour_n and_o by_o reason_n of_o this_o contrariety_n be_v refuse_v of_o all_o both_o pipe_v merry_o and_o mourn_v doleful_o carnal_a mirth_n hate_v nature_n of_o grace_n god_n have_v leave_v the_o canaanite_n in_o we_o to_o exercise_v we_o to_o humble_v we_o that_o we_o may_v have_v a_o enemy_n to_o fight_v against_o before_o we_o wear_v the_o crown_n of_o glory_n and_o that_o we_o may_v have_v a_o pattern_n of_o our_o corruption_n to_o humble_v we_o as_o the_o valley_n before_o we_o receive_v his_o shower_n of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n from_o those_o hill_n from_o whence_o come_v our_o salvation_n what_o remain_v but_o that_o we_o fight_v like_o man_n for_o the_o kill_n of_o that_o old_a man_n which_o fight_v to_o kill_v we_o while_o we_o stand_v let_v we_o stand_v in_o humility_n take_v heed_n lest_o we_o fall_v and_o this_o humility_n which_o make_v we_o take_v heed_n lest_o we_o fall_v will_v best_o keep_v we_o from_o that_o fall_v whereof_o we_o be_v to_o take_v heed_n and_o if_o we_o do_v fall_v as_o what_o man_n line_v that_o sin_v not_o let_v we_o rise_v by_o give_v our_o hand_n to_o christ_n in_o faith_n and_o until_o he_o appear_v before_o god_n in_o zion_n chap._n xi_o a_o error_n that_o forbid_v man_n though_o mortal_o disease_v to_o be_v cure_v by_o a_o sick_a physician_n there_o be_v a_o error_n general_a remedy_n i_o desire_v these_o man_n to_o consider_v that_o as_o in_o natural_a so_o in_o spiritual_a fiâ—e_n there_o be_v two_o thing_n of_o especial_a and_o inseparable_a use_n the_o one_o be_v light_n the_o other_o heat_n let_v the_o heat_n of_o nature_n make_v a_o man_n body_n never_o so_o active_a and_o able_a yet_o if_o the_o eye_n be_v shut_v up_o so_o that_o this_o heat_n by_o the_o inward_a light_n which_o it_o make_v can_v entertain_v the_o outward_a light_n the_o more_o active_a and_o stir_v this_o man_n be_v the_o more_o he_o stumble_v and_o the_o more_o he_o fall_v even_o so_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o grace_n if_o a_o man_n will_v separate_v heat_n from_o light_n he_o divorce_v those_o â—hat_n in_o the_o spirit_n be_v join_v together_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v likely_a that_o such_o be_v saint_n judes_n man_n separater_n sensual_a not_o have_v the_o spirit_n for_o where_o the_o spirit_n be_v there_o light_n be_v the_o guide_n of_o heat_n and_o such_o be_v lead_v by_o evident_a truth_n not_o by_o blind_a violence_n but_o to_o meet_v with_o their_o error_n more_o particular_o i_o will_v first_o lay_v my_o foundation_n and_o it_o be_v this_o a_o assure_a discovery_n of_o the_o true_a cause_n of_o man_n salvation_n not_o to_o run_v into_o byway_n the_o true_a way_n to_o life_n be_v christ_n the_o way_n the_o truth_n and_o the_o life_n christ_n our_o
