ghost_n that_o be_v to_o say_v i_o that_o be_o a_o christian_a man_n do_v believe_v and_o trust_v in_o god_n the_o holy_a ghost_n the_o three_o person_n in_o the_o bless_a trinity_n which_o proceed_v equal_o from_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n be_v the_o natural_a &_o essential_a power_n of_o they_o both_o &_o of_o the_o same_o substance_n which_o spirit_n sanctifi_v &_o comfort_v i_o in_o all_o trouble_n and_o assure_v i_o that_o i_o be_o the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o servant_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o shall_v have_v his_o benefit_n plentiful_o pour_v upon_o i_o out_o of_o this_o article_n we_o learn_v two_o thing_n first_o what_o be_v the_o holy_a ghost_n second_o what_o be_v his_o effect_n &_o work_n as_o well_o in_o itself_o as_o in_o man_n in_o who_o heart_n it_o work_v and_o move_v he_o forward_o to_o that_o which_o be_v good_a to_o embrace_v and_o follow_v it_o with_o all_o earnestness_n but_o to_o hate_v and_o abhor_v from_o the_o heart_n that_o which_o be_v naught_o and_o wicked_a this_o holy_a ghost_n or_o spirit_n be_v the_o everlasting_a power_n and_o infinite_a might_n of_o god_n the_o father_n which_o spirit_n be_v no_o creature_n but_o a_o creator_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o very_a god_n because_o we_o be_v here_o teach_v to_o believe_v in_o he_o which_o sure_o except_o he_o be_v very_a god_n be_v idolatry_n to_o do_v for_o we_o must_v not_o believe_v in_o any_o creature_n or_o put_v our_o trust_n in_o any_o but_o in_o god_n only_o and_o that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v god_n which_o certain_a heretic_n have_v deny_v it_o be_v manifest_a in_o the_o five_o chapter_n of_o the_o act_n of_o the_o apostle_n where_o saint_n peter_n speak_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n name_v he_o god_n for_o he_o reprehend_v ananias_n and_o sapphira_n his_o wife_n for_o their_o hypocrisy_n and_o dissimulation_n and_o tell_v they_o that_o they_o lie_v unto_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o immediate_o after_o say_v that_o they_o lie_v not_o unto_o man_n but_o unto_o god_n in_o the_o first_o of_o genesis_n it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n move_v upon_o the_o water_n this_o be_v the_o three_o person_n in_o trinity_n which_o except_o he_o have_v be_v god_n can_v not_o have_v so_o move_v upon_o this_o great_a depth_n and_o secret_o by_o his_o power_n and_o majesty_n preserve_v and_o maintain_v it_o from_o fall_v to_o nothing_o david_n say_v all_o thing_n be_v make_v and_o create_v by_o the_o breath_n of_o his_o mouth_n therefore_o if_o he_o make_v all_o thing_n he_o be_v very_o god_n for_o this_o be_v this_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_n by_o who_o you_o be_v seal_v unto_o the_o day_n of_o redemption_n by_o your_o corrupt_a communication_n proceed_v out_o of_o your_o mouth_n and_o see_v he_o will_v be_v content_a to_o tarry_v with_o you_o and_o make_v his_o abode_n in_o your_o house_n let_v all_o bitterness_n and_o anger_n and_o wrath_n and_o evil_a speak_n be_v put_v far_o away_o from_o you_o and_o hear_v of_o the_o word_n and_o other_o such_o godly_a exercise_n of_o the_o christian_n in_o which_o they_o be_v command_v to_o walk_v in_o for_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v in_o by_o s._n paul_n that_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n witness_v with_o our_o spirit_n that_o we_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n this_o be_v so_o mark_v what_o paul_n infer_v &_o bring_v in_o upon_o this_o point_n if_o we_o be_v child_n we_o be_v also_o heir_n even_o the_o heir_n of_o god_n and_o heir_n annex_v with_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v i_o now_o be_v make_v &_o appoint_v a_o heir_n by_o good_a sea_n toss_v of_o the_o wind_n and_o carry_v away_o james_n 1_o how_o can_v i_o have_v hope_n of_o salvation_n as_o i_o be_o command_v and_o yet_o be_v in_o despair_n of_o it_o and_o doubt_v with_o myself_o a_o man_n can_v not_o hope_v for_o that_o whereof_o he_o doubt_v do_v not_o saint_n john_n say_v plain_o we_o know_v that_o we_o be_v translate_v from_o death_n to_o life_n because_o we_o love_v the_o brethren_n he_o say_v not_o we_o doubt_v of_o it_o and_o again_o hereby_o we_o know_v that_o he_o abide_v in_o we_o even_o by_o his_o spirit_n which_o he_o have_v give_v us._n and_o all_o supererogation_n beside_o which_o he_o have_v not_o command_v and_o so_o in_o deed_n he_o have_v not_o and_o these_o work_v the_o monk_n and_o friar_n do_v bestow_v upon_o their_o friend_n which_o lack_v they_o for_o they_o have_v enough_o for_o themselves_o and_o these_o they_o sell_v to_o other_o which_o be_v the_o overplus_n and_o they_o call_v they_o the_o store_n of_o the_o church_n now_o thus_o stand_v the_o case_n if_o they_o keep_v the_o law_n than_o they_o need_v not_o doubt_v but_o that_o god_n will_v give_v they_o the_o reward_n of_o it_o which_o be_v life_n and_o salvation_n
