flesh_n and_o carnal_a fleshly_a and_o carnal_a man_n and_o company_n without_o we_o and_o such_o like_a motion_n within_o we_o have_v we_o at_o command_n and_o no_o temptation_n be_v true_o and_o spiritual_o unless_o upon_o carnal_a natural_a worldly_a and_o base_a respect_n withstand_v but_o that_o then_o be_v no_o true_a genuine_a or_o full_a self-denial_n nature_n or_o the_o flesh_n rule_v and_o command_v all_o still_o only_o where_o we_o have_v a_o new_a be_v in_o christ_n there_o we_o have_v that_o which_o true_o and_o diametral_o will_v oppose_v corruption_n and_o the_o fleshly_a part_n and_o self_n in_o we_o so_o only_o it_o be_v with_o the_o true_o regenerate_v where_o the_o spirit_n in_o they_o as_o a_o new_a and_o supernatural_a principle_n do_v lust_n against_o the_o flesh_n and_o though_o it_o lust_n and_o strive_v against_o the_o spirit_n yet_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o end_n prevail_v there_o be_v no_o true_a self-denial_n of_o a_o man_n self_n but_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o holiness_n and_o of_o power_n this_o help_n to_o enable_v we_o to_o deny_v ourselves_o 2._o thus_o by_o become_v new_a creature_n in_o christ_n content_a 2_o find_v f●ll●●_n content_a we_o only_o find_v true_a full_a and_o every_o way_n satisfactory_a content_n which_o make_v we_o willing_a to_o deny_v ourselves_o and_o to_o forsake_v all_o whether_o sinful_a or_o yet_o if_o need_v be_v natural_a contentment_n for_o he_o and_o for_o god_n in_o he_o seek_v no_o content_n out_o of_o christ_n which_o man_n in_o vain_a seek_v while_o man_n want_v christ_n and_o enjoy_v not_o god_n in_o christ_n they_o seek_v contentment_n in_o and_o from_o every_o thing_n but_o find_v it_o in_o nothing_o they_o know_v no_o sufficiency_n but_o such_o as_o be_v in_o themselves_o or_o in_o the_o creature_n or_o if_o you_o will_v in_o god_n and_o christ_n enjoy_v and_o have_v in_o their_o own_o way_n and_o as_o carnal_a reason_n or_o proud_a nature_n shall_v dictate_v to_o they_o and_o direct_v they_o they_o want_v the_o fruition_n of_o god_n which_o now_o be_v have_v only_o in_o christ_n and_o so_o they_o want_v contentment_n yet_o because_o they_o will_v have_v it_o they_o seek_v it_o either_o in_o some_o base_a lust_n and_o sinful_a way_n lust_n from_o their_o lust_n whether_o open_a or_o more_o secret_a which_o to_o they_o be_v as_o their_o god_n and_o they_o know_v no_o other_o happiness_n and_o so_o every_o hypocrite_n live_v in_o some_o sin_n or_o other_o or_o from_o the_o creature_n creature_n or_o from_o the_o creature_n as_o from_o riches_n favour_n of_o man_n friend_n honour_n etc._n etc._n unto_o which_o they_o flee_v for_o their_o comfort_n or_o otherwise_o for_o defence_n and_o protection_n or_o from_o themselves_o in_o whole_a they_o or_o from_o themselves_o as_o from_o some_o worth_n or_o merit_n in_o they_o or_o at_o least_o in_o part_n so_o seek_v salvation_n not_o from_o christ_n alone_o as_o if_o he_o alone_o be_v not_o alsufficient_a and_o alone_o able_a to_o content_v they_o but_o from_o some_o suppose_a merit_n or_o satisfactory_a work_n of_o their_o own_o or_o other_o man_n from_o some_o goodness_n of_o their_o own_o nature_n or_o some_o power_n of_o their_o own_o freewill_n rest_v or_o from_o their_o duty_n in_o which_o they_o rest_v or_o at_o least_o from_o their_o duty_n otherwise_o good_a and_o necessary_a to_o help_v we_o unto_o christ_n and_o to_o assure_v we_o of_o our_o be_v in_o he_o in_o which_o they_o rest_v and_o with_o which_o be_v otherwise_o it_o may_v be_v with_o diligence_n and_o zeal_n perform_v they_o altogether_o take_v up_o and_o so_o for_o want_v of_o denial_n of_o themselves_o in_o they_o come_v short_a of_o christ_n whereas_o if_o these_o man_n do_v apprehend_v the_o fullness_n of_o christ_n and_o see_v and_o
