temptation_n and_o many_o distemper_n of_o spirit_n may_v be_v bubble_v up_o in_o time_n of_o affliction_n yet_o faith_n will_v carry_v the_o soul_n to_o look_v towards_o christ_n and_o cry_v after_o he_o as_o jonah_n do_v when_o he_o be_v in_o the_o belly_n of_o hell_n i_o say_v i_o be_o cast_v out_o of_o thy_o sight_n yet_o will_v i_o look_v towards_o thy_o holy_a temple_n he_o apply_v himself_o to_o christ_n and_o so_o a_o gracious_a heart_n will_v be_v look_v to_o christ_n and_o the_o more_o faith_n the_o more_o it_o will_v look_v and_o the_o loud_a it_o will-cry_a but_o second_o let_v it_o be_v a_o word_n of_o exhortation_n o_o that_o it_o may_v provoke_v we_o all_o to_o deal_v more_o with_o god_n and_o christ_n in_o the_o time_n of_o our_o affliction_n and_o distress_n o_o that_o we_o i_o ease_v say_v job_n but_o he_o find_v no_o such_o matter_n and_o so_o we_o be_v apt_a to_o say_v of_o this_o and_o that_o creature_n i_o will_v go_v and_o make_v my_o complaint_n to_o he_o he_o will_v give_v i_o some_o refreshment_n poor_a soul_n be_v very_o apt_a under_o their_o burden_n to_o go_v up_o &_o down_o and_o scatter_v their_o complaint_n ah_o but_o they_o take_v not_o the_o right_a course_n of_o go_v to_o christ_n and_o cry_v to_o he_o and_o pour_v out_o the_o complaint_n of_o their_o soul_n before_o he_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o when_o they_o go_v to_o man_n they_o meet_v with_o little_a satisfaction_n and_o little_a relief_n and_o comfort_n and_o their_o spirit_n be_v fill_v with_o discontent_n and_o dissatisfaction_n when_o as_o they_o meet_v with_o such_o man_n sometime_o as_o have_v no_o compassion_n at_o all_o in_o they_o and_o sometime_o meet_v with_o good_a word_n and_o no_o more_o and_o sometime_o meet_v with_o such_o as_o pity_v they_o but_o have_v no_o power_n and_o sometime_o meet_v with_o some_o that_o will_v aggravate_v the_o affliction_n and_o just_o it_o be_v with_o god_n it_o shall_v be_v so_o when_o we_o will_v not_o look_v to_o the_o rock_n o_o that_o such_o disappointment_n may_v reach_v we_o to_o look_v to_o the_o lord_n we_o have_v think_v that_o this_o creature_n may_v ease_v but_o we_o have_v meet_v with_o disappointment_n o_o that_o these_o disappointment_n may_v teach_v we_o to_o go_v to_o christ_n as_o this_o woman_n and_o thus_o the_o poor_a man_n do_v for_o his_o son_n that_o he_o will_v cast_v out_o the_o unclean_a spirit_n i_o go_v say_v he_o to_o thy_o disciple_n and_o they_o try_v to_o cast_v out_o the_o unclean_a spirit_n but_o can_v not_o and_o then_o he_o come_v to_o christ_n i_o home_o a_o soul_n to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o himself_o through_o christ_n o_o then_o he_o expect_v that_o that_o soul_n shall_v continual_o wait_v upon_o he_o and_o be_v seek_v of_o he_o in_o that_o way_n which_o be_v of_o the_o lord_n own_o appointment_n it_o be_v true_a he_o be_v find_v many_o time_n of_o those_o that_o seek_v he_o not_o but_o the_o lord_n be_v not_o find_v of_o those_o that_o seek_v he_o lazy_o he_o hear_v not_o cold_a prayer_n no_o it_o be_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o lord_n hear_v quest_n ah_o but_o some_o will_v say_v i_o can_v cry_v and_o pray_v i_o can_v continue_v in_o prayer_n my_o spirit_n be_v overwhelm_v and_o i_o be_o so_o shut_v up_o that_o i_o know_v not_o how_o to_o utter_v a_o word_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n answ_n i_o answer_v though_o thy_o spirit_n be_v overwhelm_v thou_o may_v pray_v and_o cry_v aloud_o to_o the_o lord_n david_n do_v so_o and_o why_o may_v not_o thou_o psal_n 142._o 3._o i_o cry_v say_v he_o up_o to_o the_o temple_n he_o dare_v not_o draw_v nigh_o he_o look_v upon_o himself_o as_o a_o unworthy_a sinner_n and_o yet_o pour_v out_o his_o prayer_n to_o the_o lord_n the_o sense_n of_o thy_o unworthiness_n shall_v not_o hinder_v thou_o in_o the_o pour_v out_o of_o thy_o prayer_n to_o the_o lord_n the_o more_o unvorthy_a the_o more_o need_n of_o go_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o more_o sensible_a of_o thy_o unworthiness_n the_o soon_o the_o lord_n declare_v his_o acceptance_n oh_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v make_v we_o all_o mindful_a of_o this_o our_o duty_n we_o be_v apt_a to_o cry_v with_o the_o cry_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o o_o that_o in_o the_o day_n of_o our_o distress_n we_o do_v cry_v with_o the_o cry_n of_o the_o spirit_n let_v the_o cry_n that_o spring_v from_o pride_n impatiency_n and_o unbelief_n be_v silent_a lay_v low_o and_o let_v it_o not_o open_v its_o mouth_n but_o cry_v with_o the_o cry_n of_o faith_n with_o the_o cry_n of_o the_o spirit_n this_o will_v be_v a_o good_a evidence_n that_o affliction_n have_v wrought_v the_o right_a way_n and_o that_o the_o lord_n have_v do_v we_o good_a by_o our_o affliction_n till_o the_o flesh_n be_v silent_a and_o the_o spirit_n raise_v up_o to_o cry_v in_o faith_n we_o shall_v never_o have_v any_o evidence_n that_o we_o have_v receive_v benefit_n by_o our_o affliction_n but_o when_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v in_o affliction_n and_o the_o spirit_n up_o and_o cry_v it_o will_v be_v a_o good_a evidence_n that_o the_o soul_n have_v receive_v good_a by_o the_o affliction_n and_o to_o say_v no_o more_o the_o lord_n will_v soon_o draw_v nigh_o to_o that_o soul_n that_o shall_v thus_o be_v find_v wait_v for_o he_o when_o the_o flesh_n shall_v be_v silent_a and_o the_o spirit_n cry_v the_o lord_n will_v soon_o hear_v that_o cry_n you_o know_v the_o lord_n be_v a_o tender_a heart_a father_n and_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v any_o of_o his_o child_n to_o be_v tempt_v above_o what_o they_o be_v of_o ishamel_n when_o as_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o perish_v for_o thirst_n the_o lad_n cry_v and_o he_o hear_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o lad_n and_o the_o lord_n open_v the_o eye_n of_o hagar_n and_o she_o see_v a_o well_o of_o water_n he_o hear_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o flesh_n so_o gracious_a be_v the_o lord_n yea_o he_o hear_v she_o cry_v of_o the_o young_a raven_n of_o the_o young_a lion_n and_o the_o lord_n he_o open_v his_o hand_n and_o satisfy_v they_o o_o that_o this_o may_v be_v a_o encouragement_n to_o go_v to_o god_n in_o all_o time_n of_o distress_n let_v it_o be_v never_o so_o great_a the_o lord_n be_v a_o god_n of_o compassion_n and_o if_o he_o do_v hear_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o unreasonable_a creature_n and_o the_o cry_n of_o the_o flesh_n o_o sure_o the_o lord_n will_v he_o to_o his_o own_o mother_n to_o be_v his_o nurse_n and_o she_o pay_v his_o own_o mother_n for_o he_o and_o so_o the_o lord_n he_o will_v deal_v with_o you_o that_o be_v parent_n that_o act_n in_o faith_n and_o perform_v your_o duty_n in_o faith_n the_o lord_n will_v reward_v you_o for_o your_o love_n to_o your_o own_o child_n for_o take_v care_n of_o your_o own_o child_n all_o your_o labour_n be_v take_v notice_n of_o by_o the_o lord_n and_o you_o shall_v be_v reward_v oh_o what_o a_o encourageis_n here_o to_o all_o parent_n to_o look_v after_o faith_n in_o christ_n that_o so_o your_o service_n may_v be_v accept_v of_o the_o lord_n one_o thing_n more_o and_o so_o i_o conclude_v and_o that_o be_v a_o word_n to_o child_n be_v it_o so_o that_o there_o be_v so_o much_o love_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o parent_n to_o their_o child_n be_v there_o so_o much_o that_o parent_n do_v from_o love_n to_o child_n oh_o that_o child_n will_v labour_v to_o know_v what_o be_v their_o duty_n that_o they_o owe_v to_o parent_n it_o can_v be_v tell_v it_o can_v be_v express_v how_o much_o it_o be_v that_o child_n owe_v unto_o parent_n child_n it_o be_v impossible_a that_o ever_o you_o shall_v requite_v the_o love_n of_o your_o parent_n oh_o the_o pain_n the_o travel_n and_o sorrow_n of_o bring_v forth_o and_o bring_v up_o oh_o that_o child_n may_v know_v that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a engagement_n lie_v upon_o they_o to_o love_v their_o parent_n to_o respect_v their_o parent_n to_o take_v heed_n that_o they_o do_v not_o grieve_v their_o parent_n to_o pass_v by_o all_o in_o firmity_n of_o parent_n to_o show_v all_o respect_n to_o they_o and_o when_o grow_v up_o to_o take_v care_n of_o they_o and_o this_o be_v a_o duty_n that_o christ_n lay_v upon_o you_o though_o a_o moral_a duty_n see_v what_o be_v say_v in_o 1_o tim._n where_o child_n may_v see_v what_o christ_n enjoin_v they_o 1_o tim._n 5._o 4._o but_o if_o any_o widow_n have_v child_n or_o nephew_n let_v they_o learn_v first_o to_o show_v piety_n at_o home_n and_o to_o requite_v their_o parent_n for_o that_o be_v good_a and_o acceptable_a before_o god_n god_n lay_v this_o duty_n upon_o child_n you_o shall_v labour_v to_o requite_v your_o parent_n to_o remember_v their_o love_n their_o care_n their_o sorrow_n their_o pain_n and_o travel_n and_o you_o be_v bind_v by_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n to_o requite_v your_o parent_n this_o be_v good_a this_o be_v piety_n and_o this_o be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n and_o so_o that_o place_n levit._fw-la 19_o 3._o you_o shall_v fear_v every_o man_n his_o there_o be_v infinite_a bowel_n in_o the_o everlasting_a father_n and_o if_o there_o be_v so_o much_o pity_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o parent_n that_o they_o be_v willing_a and_o ready_a to_o give_v out_o good_a thing_n to_o their_o child_n and_o willing_a to_o pass_v by_o and_o to_o pardon_v the_o miscarriage_n of_o their_o child_n oh_o how_o much_o more_o willing_a be_v our_o god_n to_o pass_v by_o and_o to_o pardon_v the_o fail_n of_o you_o that_o be_v his_o child_n oh_o that_o this_o may_v encourage_v prodigal_a child_n to_o return_v to_o the_o lord_n if_o the_o father_n receive_v his_o child_n that_o have_v be_v a_o prodigal_a why_o the_o lord_n be_v ready_a to_o receive_v you_o though_o a_o prodigal_a if_o the_o lord_n give_v you_o a_o heart_n to_o return_v though_o you_o have_v spend_v all_o and_o abuse_v all_o your_o mercy_n yet_o the_o lord_n be_v ready_a to_o pardon_v and_o to_o receive_v you_o and_o let_v it_o strengthen_v your_o faith_n and_o hope_n in_o christ_n you_o that_o cleave_v to_o christ_n for_o righteousness_n you_o that_o be_v the_o child_n of_o that_o everlasting_a father_n oh_o know_v that_o christ_n will_v plead_v for_o you_o christ_n will_v cry_v to_o his_o father_n for_o you_o be_v the_o woman_n of_o candan_n so_o affect_v with_o the_o misery_n of_o her_o daughter_n that_o she_o cry_v lord_n have_v mercy_n on_o i_o my_o daughter_n be_v grievous_o vex_v with_o a_o devil_n 〈◊〉_d i_o say_v this_o find_v in_o this_o woman_n towards_o her_o daughter_n and_o shall_v not_o this_o be_v find_v in_o christ_n towards_o his_o child_n oh_o then_o let_v now_o to_o speak_v of_o the_o trial_n of_o this_o woman_n faith_n and_o here_o be_v the_o first_o trial_n of_o her_o faith_n he_o answer_v she_o not_o a_o word_n a_o very_a great_a trial_n a_o sore_a trial_n that_o this_o poor_a woman_n shall_v in_o her_o great_a strait_n and_o under_o such_o a_o burden_n and_o pressure_n of_o spirit_n come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n and_o cry_v so_o earnest_o unto_o he_o and_o believe_v so_o steadfast_o upon_o he_o and_o yet_o jesus_n christ_n give_v she_o not_o one_o word_n of_o answer_n to_o her_o prayer_n this_o be_v a_o sore_a trial_n for_o this_o carriage_n of_o christ_n it_o seem_v to_o be_v contrary_a to_o what_o she_o have_v hear_v of_o christ_n and_o to_o what_o she_o believe_v be_v in_o jesus_n christ_n for_o christ_n seem_v now_o either_o to_o be_v without_o compassion_n to_o she_o he_o seem_v to_o take_v no_o notice_n not_o to_o be_v affect_v she_o complain_v and_o cry_v out_o of_o her_o great_a burden_n and_o christ_n speak_v not_o a_o word_n the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n seem_v either_o not_o to_o be_v affect_v with_o her_o
misery_n or_o not_o to_o regard_v her_o misery_n not_o to_o take_v notice_n of_o such_o a_o poor_a creature_n as_o she_o be_v now_o both_o these_o be_v contrary_a to_o what_o she_o have_v hear_v of_o christ_n and_o to_o that_o she_o have_v believe_v be_v in_o jesus_n christ_n without_o doubt_n she_o have_v hear_v out_o of_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n that_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n when_o he_o come_v shall_v bind_v up_o the_o brokenhearted_a and_o preach_v deliverance_n to_o the_o captive_n now_o when_o she_o apply_v herself_o to_o christ_n christ_n seem_v not_o to_o be_v that_o compassionate_a saviour_n certain_o she_o have_v hear_v that_o zion_n king_n be_v meek_a and_o lowly_a and_o that_o he_o will_v not_o break_v the_o bruise_a reed_n nor_o quench_v thâ—_n smoke_v flax_n but_o christ_n seem_v to_o disdain_v she_o and_o take_v no_o notice_n of_o she_o nor_o look_v after_o such_o avile_a worm_n as_o she_o be_v nay_o she_o have_v believe_v that_o christ_n be_v low_a and_o meek_a as_o appear_v by_o that_o expression_n of_o she_o in_fw-la ver_fw-la 22._o thou_o son_n of_o david_n have_v mercy_n on_o i_o now_o david_n be_v a_o merciful_a prince_n and_o be_v very_o pleasure_n that_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a god_n choice_n shall_v be_v ground_v upon_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o creature_n but_o mere_o a_o act_n of_o his_o own_o good_a pleasure_n for_o first_o of_o all_o that_o which_o make_v the_o will_n of_o god_n to_o depend_v upon_o the_o creature_n that_o can_v be_v a_o true_a doctrine_n but_o now_o if_o god_n do_v choose_v upon_o foresee_a faith_n and_o work_v because_o he_o foresee_v the_o creature_n to_o be_v such_o than_o the_o will_n of_o god_n do_v depend_v upon_o the_o creature_n which_o destroy_v the_o divine_a nature_n of_o god_n and_o the_o freedom_n of_o god_n will_n it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o god_n will_n shall_v be_v determine_v but_o by_o its_o self_n now_o if_o god_n choose_v upon_o foresee_a faith_n and_o work_n than_o god_n will_n be_v determine_v by_o some_o thing_n in_o the_o creature_n second_o it_o do_v derogate_a much_o from_o the_o freeness_n of_o god_n grace_n as_o also_o from_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o mystery_n and_o of_o the_o wonder_n of_o the_o gospel_n i_o say_v if_o god_n do_v choose_v man_n because_o he_o foresee_v that_o they_o will_v be_v holy_a it_o derogate_v much_o from_o the_o freeness_n of_o his_o grace_n if_o it_o be_v of_o work_n than_o it_o be_v not_o of_o grace_n if_o god_n choice_n be_v ground_v upon_o such_o a_o foresight_n of_o faith_n and_o holiness_n than_o it_o why_o then_o what_o a_o folly_n be_v it_o to_o desire_v to_o be_v out_o of_o this_o world_n that_o thou_o may_v know_v thy_o state_n sure_o thou_o go_v out_o of_o thy_o way_n that_o be_v not_o god_n way_n to_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o what_o god_n have_v purpose_v concern_v thou_o thy_o way_n be_v to_o give_v all_o diligence_n while_o here_o not_o to_o desire_v to_o go_v into_o another_o world_n to_o know_v what_o it_o be_v but_o it_o be_v thy_o duty_n to_o give_v all_o diligence_n before_o thou_o go_v to_o make_v thy_o call_n and_o election_n sure_a to_o wait_v upon_o god_n with_o all_o thy_o might_n three_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o thou_o have_v no_o hope_n but_o thou_o dispare_v concern_v the_o love_n of_o god_n oh_o i_o shall_v never_o attain_v to_o the_o this_o world_n before_o the_o lord_n time_n that_o so_o thou_o may_v know_v thy_o worst_a i_o say_v that_o be_v madness_n and_o folly_n for_o so_o long_o as_o thou_o be_v in_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n thou_o be_v in_o a_o state_n of_o possibility_n no_o poor_a sinner_n how_o vile_a soever_o but_o while_o in_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n they_o be_v in_o a_o state_n of_o possibility_n for_o as_o i_o say_v before_o so_o again_o that_o even_o reason_n and_o a_o man_n conscience_n will_v tell_v he_o that_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o he_o shall_v know_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v reject_v he_o and_o therefore_o for_o any_o man_n to_o say_v it_o be_v impossible_a that_o he_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o have_v no_o hope_n that_o man_n lie_v against_o conscience_n and_o concern_v our_o own_o election_n which_o be_v this_o if_o god_n have_v decree_v all_o thing_n his_o purpose_n must_v stand_v why_o then_o his_o purpose_n can_v be_v resist_v god_n have_v purpose_v elect_v then_o thou_o shall_v be_v save_v thou_o conclude_v concern_v the_o end_n and_o i_o say_v if_o thou_o be_v elect_v then_o thou_o shall_v certain_o be_v bring_v to_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o become_v a_o new_a creature_n the_o mean_v it_o be_v purpose_v by_o god_n as_o well_o as_o the_o end_n god_n have_v decree_v to_o bring_v his_o people_n to_o life_n and_o salvation_n this_o way_n by_o believe_v in_o the_o way_n of_o faith_n and_o in_o the_o way_n of_o repentance_n and_o in_o the_o way_n of_o holiness_n you_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o true_o it_o be_v as_o impossible_a for_o they_o to_o go_v without_o faith_n to_o be_v in_o a_o unrenewed_a condition_n all_o their_o day_n as_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o those_o to_o be_v save_v that_o be_v not_o elect_v yea_o i_o of_o he_o that_o will_v nor_o run_v but_o god_n that_o show_v mercy_n and_o therefore_o why_o shall_v i_o strive_v for_o life_n and_o salvation_n i_o deny_v that_o that_o god_n will_v save_v thou_o without_o thy_o strive_n it_o be_v true_a it_o be_v not_o for_o thy_o faith_n and_o repentance_n that_o god_n will_v save_v but_o without_o these_o god_n will_v not_o save_v this_o be_v the_o way_n about_o god_n decree_n the_o seven_o and_o last_o temptation_n be_v a_o temptation_n of_o despair_n temptation_n which_o some_o of_o god_n people_n may_v be_v exercise_v withal_o and_o thus_o they_o may_v reason_n if_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o purpose_v my_o salvation_n if_o he_o have_v not_o decree_v my_o salvation_n they_o i_o can_v be_v save_v whatever_o i_o do_v though_o i_o take_v never_o so_o much_o pain_n and_o strive_v never_o so_o much_o though_o i_o seek_v faith_n and_o repentance_n yea_o though_o i_o do_v believe_v and_o though_o i_o do_v repent_v yet_o if_o god_n have_v not_o decree_v my_o salvation_n i_o can_v be_v save_v to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o god_n decree_n and_o purpose_n shall_v never_o infringe_v the_o truth_n of_o any_o promise_n that_o he_o have_v make_v now_o he_o have_v make_v a_o promise_n that_o whosoever_o believe_v in_o christ_n shall_v be_v save_v now_o god_n decree_n shall_v not_o infringe_v the_o truth_n of_o this_o promise_n and_o there_o be_v no_o man_n upon_o earth_n that_o shall_v believe_v in_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n christ_n but_o he_o may_v claim_v life_n and_o salvation_n upon_o god_n promise_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v make_v out_o to_o he_o and_o let_v i_o say_v further_o that_o thou_o do_v not_o take_v the_o right_a course_n to_o begin_v at_o god_n decree_n oh_o this_o be_v a_o discouragement_n this_o will_v keep_v thou_o off_o from_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mean_n if_o i_o be_v not_o elect_v i_o can_v be_v save_v thou_o take_v the_o wrong_a course_n to_o begin_v at_o they_o election_n who_o teach_v thou_o this_o way_n god_n never_o teach_v thou_o so_o it_o be_v from_o satan_n who_o endeavour_v to_o pussel_n thou_o in_o thy_o way_n though_o there_o be_v such_o a_o election_n and_o the_o saint_n have_v much_o comfort_n when_o they_o do_v know_v their_o election_n yet_o you_o must_v not_o begin_v with_o election_n but_o know_v that_o you_o must_v walk_v by_o god_n reveal_v will_n and_o look_v to_o god_n reveal_v will_n if_o thou_o be_v call_v to_o faith_n and_o to_o believe_v thou_o be_v not_o among_o the_o lose_a one_o and_o be_v call_v to_o life_n and_o salvation_n and_o therefore_o look_v to_o the_o reveal_v will_n of_o god_n so_o long_o as_o a_o man_n be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o unbelief_n it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o he_o shall_v know_v what_o god_n have_v decree_v concern_v he_o therefore_o do_v not_o begin_v at_o election_n this_o be_v for_o a_o man_n to_o covet_v to_o set_v his_o foot_n upon_o the_o high_a step_n of_o the_o ladder_n before_o he_o set_v it_o upon_o low_a when_o a_o man_n be_v in_o his_o youth_n he_o do_v not_o know_v whether_o god_n have_v purpose_v old_a age_n for_o he_o and_o because_o he_o do_v not_o know_v it_o he_o be_v not_o discourage_v from_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mean_n and_o so_o i_o say_v in_o a_o state_n of_o unbelief_n thou_o can_v not_o know_v that_o god_n have_v love_v thou_o but_o this_o shall_v not_o discourage_v thou_o to_o wait_v upon_o god_n in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mean_n give_v up_o thyself_o to_o his_o reveal_v will_n which_o command_v thou_o and_o all_o the_o son_n of_o man_n to_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o as_o i_o say_v so_o i_o say_v again_o that_o there_o be_v no_o man_n that_o ever_o believe_v in_o jesus_n christ_n but_o he_o be_v save_v and_o therefore_o it_o be_v madness_n and_o folly_n for_o a_o man_n to_o say_v though_o i_o believe_v in_o christ_n i_o shall_v not_o be_v save_v if_o god_n have_v not_o purpose_v it_o i_o tell_v you_o there_o be_v none_o that_o ever_o do_v believe_v in_o christ_n but_o be_v save_v and_o any_o that_o do_v believe_v to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n may_v go_v to_o god_n and_o challenge_v he_o upon_o his_o word_n nay_o i_o may_v say_v if_o judas_n have_v believe_v and_o repent_v and_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n judas_n have_v be_v save_v question_n but_o you_o will_v say_v if_o i_o be_v not_o elect_v i_o can_v believe_v it_o be_v in_o vain_a wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mean_n and_o that_o thou_o have_v not_o faith_n do_v not_o lay_v it_o upon_o god_n though_o it_o be_v true_a faith_n be_v his_o gift_n yet_o god_n do_v hinder_v no_o man_n from_o believe_v god_n lay_v no_o block_n in_o any_o man_n way_n nay_o there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n that_o god_n do_v to_o bring_v man_n unto_o faith_n what_o mean_n his_o child_n to_o in_o time_n of_o affliction_n to_o speak_v gracious_a word_n unto_o god_n and_o to_o speak_v good_a word_n of_o god_n to_o his_o praise_n and_o honour_n first_o it_o be_v the_o pour_v out_o the_o supplication_n of_o the_o soul_n before_o the_o lord_n in_o prayer_n it_o be_v a_o special_a exercise_n that_o god_n call_v his_o people_n to_o in_o time_n of_o affliction_n and_o temptation_n to_o be_v much_o in_o supplication_n pour_v out_o their_o soul_n before_o the_o lord_n now_o this_o supplication_n this_o prayer_n which_o the_o lord_n do_v require_v and_o do_v delight_n
