by_o forgive_a all_o manner_n of_o sin_n even_o blasphemy_n so_o in_o particular_a it_o be_v commend_v unto_o man_n by_o make_v he_o the_o peculiar_a object_n of_o this_o mercy_n of_o god_n for_o to_o man_n do_v christ_n in_o special_a appropriate_v it_o say_v all_o manner_n of_o sin_n shall_v be_v forgive_v unto_o men_n as_o saint_n matthew_n record_v it_o to_o the_o son_n of_o men_n as_o saint_n mark_n set_v it_o down_o from_o whence_o we_o may_v gather_v that_o man_n be_v the_o most_o principal_a object_n of_o god_n mercy_n this_o instance_n of_o forgive_a sin_n go_v beyond_o all_o other_o that_o can_v be_v give_v to_o commend_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n especial_o if_o we_o consider_v what_o be_v do_v to_o effect_v this_o to_o discharge_v man_n of_o that_o debt_n whereunto_o he_o stand_v bind_v through_o sin_n unto_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n man_n the_o son_n of_o god_n must_v come_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o become_v a_o son_n of_o man_n and_o in_o man_n room_n and_o steed_n he_o make_v sin_n offer_v himself_o up_o a_o sacrifice_n to_o satisfy_v god_n justice_n for_o man_n sin_n and_o that_o man_n may_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o that_o which_o christ_n do_v in_o this_o kind_n son_n of_o man_n must_v be_v unite_v to_o the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o as_o by_o the_o former_a union_n god_n and_o man_n become_v one_o person_n so_o by_o this_o latter_a union_n the_o son_n of_o man_n and_o the_o son_n of_o god_n may_v make_v one_o body_n 12._o which_o be_v christ_n no_o creature_n but_o man_n do_v partake_v of_o god_n mercy_n in_o this_o kind_n unsensible_a and_o unreasonable_a creature_n be_v not_o subject_a to_o sin_n nor_o yet_o to_o the_o eternal_a punishment_n of_o sin_n because_o they_o have_v no_o immortal_a soul_n the_o good_a angel_n never_o sin_v and_o in_o that_o respect_n have_v no_o need_n to_o taste_v of_o this_o kind_n of_o mercy_n whereupon_o when_o a_o angel_n bring_v the_o news_n of_o christ_n birth_n 10._o he_o say_v in_o the_o second_o person_n to_o you_o be_v bear_v a_o saviour_n but_o when_o the_o prophet_n a_o son_n of_o man_n foretell_v thereof_o 6._o he_o say_v in_o the_o first_o person_n to_o we_o a_o child_n be_v bear_v to_o we_o a_o son_n be_v give_v the_o evil_a angel_n that_o have_v as_o much_o need_n thereof_o as_o son_n of_o man_n 6._o be_v reserve_v in_o everlasting_a chain_n under_o darkness_n unto_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o great_a day_n this_o mercy_n be_v not_o vouchsafe_v unto_o they_o in_o regard_n whereof_o it_o be_v say_v that_o christ_n take_v not_o on_o he_o before_o all_o other_o 7._o for_o he_o be_v make_v of_o the_o dust_n and_o in_o his_o substance_n much_o inferior_a to_o the_o angel_n neither_o can_v there_o be_v any_o merit_n or_o desert_n in_o his_o action_n for_o in_o his_o best_a estate_n he_o can_v do_v no_o more_o than_o what_o of_o duty_n he_o be_v bind_v unto_o but_o when_o god_n afford_v he_o this_o great_a mercy_n whereof_o we_o now_o speak_v he_o be_v dead_a in_o sin_n a_o slave_n of_o satan_n a_o enemy_n of_o god_n it_o be_v therefore_o god_n good_a pleasure_n that_o make_v he_o thus_o to_o make_v choice_n of_o man_n to_o make_v he_o the_o most_o principal_a object_n of_o his_o mercy_n and_o in_o this_o respect_n the_o apostle_n use_v 〈◊〉_d a_o word_n which_o signify_v a_o proper_a and_o peculiar_a love_n to_o man_n 4._o how_o do_v this_o check_n the_o son_n of_o man_n for_o their_o ungratefulness_n against_o god_n fullness_n whereas_o this_o proper_a and_o peculiar_a love_n of_o god_n to_o man_n shall_v provoke_v he_o to_o exceed_v all_o other_o creature_n in_o set_v forth_o the_o honour_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n who_o have_v so_o respect_v he_o man_n for_o the_o most_o part_n dishonour_v god_n more_o than_o all_o other_o creature_n except_o the_o infernal_a spirit_n who_o whole_o and_o only_o set_v themselves_o to_o dishonour_n and_o blaspheme_v the_o name_n of_o that_o great_a god_n who_o reserve_v they_o in_o everlasting_a chain_n for_o if_o we_o look_v into_o the_o high_a heaven_n there_o we_o shall_v see_v the_o heavenly_a spirit_n stand_v before_o the_o throne_n of_o god_n ready_a to_o receive_v and_o execute_v any_o charge_n that_o he_o shall_v give_v they_o yea_o there_o we_o shall_v hear_v they_o sing_v continual_o praise_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o rejoice_v when_o god_n be_v any_o way_n glorify_v in_o heaven_n or_o in_o earth_n do_v any_o of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n so_o far_o exceed_v the_o angel_n in_o glorify_v god_n as_o god_n mercy_n have_v more_o abound_v to_o we_o then_o to_o they_o what_o we_o shall_v do_v in_o heaven_n i_o know_v not_o but_o how_o far_o short_a the_o best_a of_o we_o on_o earth_n do_v come_v of_o they_o none_o can_v be_v ignorant_a descend_v we_o therefore_o a_o little_a low_o into_o the_o next_o heaven_n where_o we_o may_v behold_v the_o sun_n moon_n star_n and_o whole_a host_n of_o those_o
