presence_n of_o the_o spirit_n it_o be_v more_o expedient_a for_o they_o more_o profitable_a more_o advantageous_a for_o they_o than_o to_o enjoy_v the_o very_a personal_a presence_n of_o christ_n now_o to_o give_v you_o a_o few_o reason_n for_o it_o to_o show_v you_o wherein_o it_o be_v more_o profitable_a more_o expedient_a to_o have_v the_o presence_n of_o the_o spirit_n than_o to_o enjoy_v the_o very_a bodily_a presence_n of_o christ_n 1._o in_o regard_n that_o by_o enjoy_v the_o presence_n of_o the_o spirit_n they_o may_v have_v more_o real_a comfort_n than_o they_o can_v have_v by_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o the_o personal_a presence_n of_o christ_n you_o shall_v see_v the_o disciple_n themselves_o all_o the_o time_n that_o they_o do_v enjoy_v the_o personal_a presence_n of_o or_o else_o all_o our_o preach_n will_v be_v but_o like_o the_o water_v of_o a_o dead_a plant_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n must_v come_v and_o be_v present_a and_o then_o our_o preach_n our_o plant_n and_o water_v may_v be_v bless_v for_o those_o end_n for_o which_o god_n have_v appoint_v it_o and_o the_o reason_n be_v this_o that_o without_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n the_o word_n though_o it_o be_v ordain_v of_o god_n to_o be_v a_o mean_n of_o conversion_n and_o salvation_n yet_o the_o word_n alone_o without_o the_o spirit_n can_v do_v it_o because_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n be_v too_o weak_a to_o make_v a_o impression_n upon_o our_o hard_a heart_n take_v a_o seal_n and_o set_v it_o upon_o a_o rock_n or_o stone_n it_o make_v no_o impression_n why_o because_o and_o therefore_o as_o we_o do_v desire_v more_o and_o more_o to_o see_v the_o evil_n of_o this_o sin_n of_o unbelief_n true_o we_o have_v need_v to_o look_v up_o for_o the_o spirit_n to_o discover_v it_o to_o we_o that_o all_o that_o we_o can_v do_v can_v never_o please_v god_n unless_o we_o do_v believe_v on_o christ_n whatever_o prayer_n we_o make_v whatever_o duty_n we_o perform_v yet_o all_o have_v the_o spirit_n discover_v to_o you_o i_o tell_v you_o brethren_n if_o so_o be_v you_o have_v not_o be_v convince_v and_o see_v something_o of_o the_o evil_a of_o unbelief_n true_o you_o have_v cause_n to_o question_v whether_o ever_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n have_v be_v at_o work_n upon_o you_o in_o order_n to_o salvation_n let_v i_o tell_v you_o plain_o and_o i_o pray_v bear_v with_o i_o
