many_o and_o sundry_a sect_n of_o they_o that_o contemptuous_o despise_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o in_o some_o of_o they_o pride_n be_v more_o evident_a in_o some_o other_o tender_a weakness_n in_o other_o a_o certain_a drunkenness_n of_o the_o mind_n in_o other_o a_o sleapy_a dullness_n yet_o shall_v we_o find_v that_o this_o contempt_n come_v of_o a_o profane_a careless_a security_n because_o that_o no_o man_n do_v enter_v into_o himself_o to_o examine_v his_o own_o misery_n to_o find_v a_o remedy_n for_o they_o this_o be_v a_o monstrous_a madness_n when_o god_n the_o heaven_n have_v the_o rule_n here_o daniel_n do_v end_v the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o dream_n and_o teach_v that_o god_n will_v not_o so_o severe_o deal_v with_o the_o king_n nebuchadnezer_n but_o that_o he_o will_v leave_v some_o place_n for_o his_o mercy_n therefore_o he_o do_v mitigate_v the_o great_a rigour_n of_o the_o punishment_n that_o nebuchadnezer_n hope_v for_o pardon_n may_v all_o mortal_a creature_n now_o the_o king_n when_o they_o see_v all_o thing_n quiet_a about_o they_o if_o no_o man_n fear_v they_o they_o think_v that_o they_o be_v safe_a enough_o and_o while_o equity_n nor_o rule_v of_o justice_n but_o we_o must_v mark_v that_o which_o we_o have_v speak_v in_o a_o other_o place_n that_o man_n be_v govern_v by_o law_n because_o their_o will_n be_v perverse_a and_o be_v carry_v hither_o and_o thither_o after_o their_o own_o lust_n without_o measure_n but_o god_n be_v a_o law_n unto_o himself_o because_o his_o will_n be_v most_o perfect_a justice_n therefore_o as_o oft_o as_o the_o scripture_n set_v forth_o unto_o we_o the_o power_n of_o god_n and_o do_v command_v we_o to_o be_v content_a therewith_o it_o do_v not_o attribute_n unto_o god_n a_o tyrannical_a empire_n as_o the_o wicked_a do_v false_o imagine_v but_o because_o we_o do_v not_o leave_v of_o to_o speak_v against_o god_n and_o do_v set_v our_o reason_n against_o his_o secret_a be_v add_v therefore_o say_v nebuchadnezer_n god_n do_v what_o he_o will._n and_o he_o do_v not_o speak_v accord_v to_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o by_o the_o instinction_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o have_v be_v say_v he_o shall_v therefore_o as_o well_o be_v hear_v as_o if_o a_o prophet_n be_v send_v from_o heaven_n now_o than_o we_o see_v that_o the_o world_n be_v so_o govern_v by_o the_o secret_a providence_n of_o god_n that_o nothing_o come_v to_o pass_v but_o that_o which_o he_o have_v command_v and_o decree_v and_o furthermore_o that_o he_o shall_v also_o worthy_o be_v do_v so_o he_o do_v exercise_v his_o judgement_n and_o he_o which_o sin_v be_v worthy_o guilty_a neither_o can_v he_o entangle_v god_n in_o the_o society_n of_o his_o wickedness_n why_o for_o god_n have_v nothing_o common_a with_o he_o as_o concern_v the_o action_n of_o sin_n therefore_o we_o see_v that_o these_o thing_n which_o many_o will_v have_v to_o disagree_v betwixt_o themselves_o do_v well_o agree_v that_o be_v that_o god_n do_v rule_v by_o his_o will_n what_o soever_o be_v do_v in_o the_o world_n and_o yet_o he_o be_v not_o the_o author_n of_o sin_n why_o for_o he_o so_o use_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o the_o reprobate_n that_o he_o be_v always_o a_o just_a judge_n the_o cause_n do_v not_o always_o appear_v unto_o we_o but_o we_o must_v mark_v this_o principle_n because_o that_o with_o god_n be_v all_o power_n therefore_o it_o be_v not_o right_a to_o speak_v against_o his_o judgement_n what_o show_v of_o absurdity_n soever_o they_o have_v and_o therefore_o it_o follow_v in_o the_o text_n there_o be_v none_o that_o can_v stay_v his_o hand_n or_o can_v say_v unto_o he_o why_o have_v thou_o thus_o do_v when_o nebuchadnezer_n say_v that_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n can_v not_o be_v stay_v hereby_o he_o deride_v the_o madness_n of_o man_n which_o yet_o do_v not_o doubt_v to_o rise_v against_o god_n now_o let_v they_o lift_v up_o their_o finger_n if_o they_o can_v to_o stay_v his_o hand_n and_o yet_o be_v overcome_v of_o their_o infirmity_n they_o go_v forward_o in_o that_o their_o rage_n therefore_o nebuchadnezer_n do_v worthy_o show_v their_o foolish_a soever_o the_o reprobate_n do_v talk_v yet_o their_o vain_a talk_n do_v fall_v by_o itself_o because_o it_o have_v no_o ground_n neither_o yet_o any_o colour_n the_o sum_n be_v that_o the_o will_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v a_o law_n unto_o we_o because_o we_o strive_v against_o he_o in_o vain_a and_o furthermore_o because_o if_o we_o permit_v unto_o ourselves_o so_o much_o lust_n &_o if_o our_o madness_n also_o do_v burst_v forth_o so_o far_o that_o we_o will_v brawl_v with_o god_n this_o shall_v be_v without_o success_n for_o god_n himself_o shall_v be_v justify_v in_o his_o judgement_n then_o how_o nebuchadnezer_n do_v condemn_v himself_o by_o his_o own_o mouth_n with_o these_o word_n while_o he_o declare_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n in_o all_o his_o work_n neither_o do_v this_o generality_n hinder_v that_o nebuchadnezer_n shall_v not_o set_v himself_o guilty_a open_o and_o free_o before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o god_n but_o this_o word_n have_v more_o hehemency_n while_o he_o be_v admonish_v by_o his_o own_o example_n do_v confess_v universal_o that_o god_n be_v just_a and_o whatsoever_o he_o do_v be_v right_n and_o true_a and_o this_o point_n be_v deal_v sharp_o with_o they_o then_o pour_v they_o forth_o their_o poison_n and_o begin_v to_o quarrel_v with_o god_n and_o to_o accuse_v he_o of_o injustice_n and_o cruelty_n wherefore_o in_o that_o that_o nebuchadnezer_n do_v here_o confess_v without_o exception_n that_o god_n be_v just_a and_o true_a in_o all_o his_o work_n when_o as_o he_o be_v so_o severe_o punish_v this_o confession_n be_v not_o feign_v for_o that_o which_o he_o speak_v must_v needs_o come_v forth_o of_o the_o inward_a and_o lively_o feel_v of_o the_o heart_n because_o he_o have_v taste_v the_o rigour_n of_o god_n judgement_n now_o in_o the_o end_n be_v add_v that_o he_o can_v humble_v they_o that_o walk_v in_o pride_n here_o nebuchadnezer_n do_v disclose_v his_o own_o sin_n and_o shame_n more_o plain_o and_o he_o be_v not_o ashamed_a to_o confess_v his_o fault_n before_o the_o whole_a world_n sing_v that_o the_o punishment_n be_v evident_a wherefore_o like_a as_o god_n will_v have_v his_o madness_n to_o be_v detest_v of_o all_o man_n when_o he_o execute_v such_o a_o terrible_a example_n of_o so_o horrible_a a_o punishment_n upon_o he_o so_o do_v nebuchadnezer_n now_o come_v forth_o and_o testify_v that_o he_o do_v worthy_o suffer_v this_o so_o grevous_a punishment_n because_o in_o deed_n he_o be_v to_o proud_a and_o here_o do_v we_o see_v the_o power_n of_o god_n join_v with_o his_o justice_n as_o be_v say_v before_o he_o do_v not_o attribute_n unto_o god_n any_o tyranny_n that_o shall_v be_v lawless_a for_o when_o nebuchadnezer_n have_v confess_v all_o the_o way_n of_o god_n to_o be_v judgement_n straight_o way_n after_o he_o say_v of_o himself_o that_o he_o be_v proud_a wherefore_o he_o doubt_v not_o to_o set_v forth_o his_o shame_n before_o man_n that_o he_o may_v glorify_v god_n and_o this_o be_v the_o right_a way_n to_o praise_n god_n not_o only_a when_o we_o confess_v ourselves_o to_o be_v nothing_o but_o also_o when_o we_o recount_v our_o vice_n again_o when_o we_o do_v not_o here_o comprehend_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n which_o yet_o shall_v have_v have_v the_o chief_a praise_n neither_o yet_o do_v he_o describe_v in_o this_o decree_n whatsoever_o be_v to_o be_v require_v of_o a_o godly_a man_n that_o have_v be_v long_o exercise_v in_o the_o school_n of_o god_n but_o yet_o he_o make_v it_o manifest_a that_o he_o have_v much_o profit_v under_o god_n
