yea_o or_o nay_o without_o distinction_n or_o explanation_n can_v not_o in_o truth_n have_v be_v give_v for_o that_o have_v be_v to_o say_v that_o none_o ought_v to_o be_v leave_v to_o their_o freedom_n no_o not_o they_o who_o by_o receive_v the_o divine_a gift_n in_o themselves_o subject_v to_o it_o and_o grow_v up_o in_o it_o be_v true_o thereby_o bring_v to_o the_o true_a freedom_n indeed_o the_o freedom_n that_o stand_v in_o truth_n the_o true_a spiritual_a liberty_n or_o that_o all_o aught_o to_o be_v leave_v to_o their_o freedom_n in_o the_o thing_n relate_v to_o goâ—â—_n even_o they_o who_o through_o their_o alienation_n from_o god_n know_v nothing_o of_o either_o this_o true_a liberty_n or_o the_o gift_n that_o lead_v to_o it_o or_o they_o that_o profess_v to_o know_v it_o and_o to_o have_v receive_v it_o live_v not_o in_o subjection_n to_o it_o and_o so_o be_v not_o bring_v to_o the_o true_a spiritual_a liberty_n by_o it_o but_o have_v a_o freedom_n out_o of_o the_o truth_n a_o freedom_n to_o do_v such_o thing_n as_o the_o truth_n condemn_v the_o author_n therefore_o right_o distinguish_v these_o different_a state_n answer_v apt_o to_o the_o term_n of_o his_o question_n grant_v the_o question_n in_o a_o right_a sense_n but_o not_o in_o a_o wrong_a sense_n for_o the_o question_v not_o open_v the_o particular_a state_n of_o the_o party_n demand_v this_o freedom_n but_o be_v ground_v only_o upon_o the_o gift_n or_o manifestation_n give_v which_o be_v applicable_a not_o only_o to_o all_o in_o the_o profession_n of_o truth_n how_o disorderly_a and_o scandalous_a so_o ever_o but_o even_o to_o all_o mankind_n and_o not_o mention_v the_o party_n have_v receive_v the_o gift_n in_o the_o love_n of_o it_o close_v with_o it_o to_o a_o improvement_n of_o it_o to_o a_o profit_v therewith_o and_o dwell_v in_o a_o subjection_n thereunto_o which_o alone_o bring_v into_o the_o true_a spiritual_a liberty_n therefore_o the_o author_n that_o definition_n of_o true_a spiritual_a liberty_n which_o he_o have_v give_v before_o and_o which_o the_o adversary_n now_o agree_v to_o but_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n if_o thou_o who_o demand_v to_o be_v leave_v to_o thy_o freedom_n in_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n be_v not_o come_v to_o this_o true_a spiritual_a liberty_n but_o notwithstanding_o god_n have_v give_v thou_o a_o manifestation_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o profit_v withal_o and_o that_o thou_o profess_v in_o word_n to_o have_v receive_v this_o gift_n yet_o thou_o have_v not_o so_o close_v with_o and_o subject_v to_o this_o they_o caution_n all_o to_o beware_v that_o they_o be_v not_o beguile_v by_o the_o enemy_n in_o themselves_o who_o form_n likeness_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n on_o purpose_n to_o deceive_v and_o mislead_v thereby_o and_o for_o the_o same_o end_n transform_v himself_o into_o a_o angel_n of_o light_n and_o take_v he_o for_o their_o guide_n and_o leader_n as_o too_o many_o have_v do_v instead_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n and_o then_o demand_v to_o be_v leave_v to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o when_o indeed_o they_o be_v go_v from_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o and_o oppose_v the_o manifestation_n operation_n and_o production_n thereof_o in_o other_o so_o that_o the_o controversy_n right_o state_v and_o true_o consider_v be_v not_o about_o be_v leave_v or_o not_o leave_v to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n for_o that_o all_o shall_v be_v leave_v to_o that_o be_v never_o doubt_v much_o less_o deny_v by_o friend_n but_o about_o be_v leave_v or_o not_o leave_v to_o that_o which_o be_v pretend_v to_o be_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n but_o indeed_o and_o in_o truth_n be_v not_o it_o and_o by_o the_o fruit_n it_o bring_v forth_o sufficient_o manifest_v that_o it_o be_v not_o it_o they_o say_v it_o be_v true_a to_o plead_v this_o against_o our_o understanding_n be_v a_o abuse_n of_o the_o plea_n and_o be_v little_o better_a than_o heresy_n to_o countenance_n or_o defend_v a_o be_v of_o a_o contrary_a opposite_a mind_n from_o the_o rest_n that_o be_v lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v to_o abuse_v the_o plea_n and_o to_o commit_v as_o the_o author_n of_o the_o examination_n there_o say_v the_o great_a contradiction_n to_o that_o very_a doctrine_n of_o scripture_n viz._n that_o all_o shall_v be_v guide_v by_o the_o grace_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o for_o the_o end_n of_o that_o doctrine_n be_v certainty_n which_o the_o author_n there_o confirm_v by_o several_a scripture-evidence_n as_o jer._n 32.39_o ezek._n 11.19_o act_n 4.32_o etc._n etc._n this_o the_o adversary_n do_v not_o attempt_v to_o answer_v but_o turn_v the_o matter_n from_o plead_v this_o against_o unity_n to_o plead_v it_o against_o understanding_n which_o they_o say_v be_v little_o beâ—ter_a than_o heresy_n and_o grant_v that_o to_o do_v thus_o be_v a_o abuse_n of_o the_o plea_n but_o can_v nothing_o be_v a_o abuse_n of_o the_o plea_n but_o use_v it_o against_o understanding_n what_o if_o any_o have_v so_o little_a understanding_n in_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n as_o to_o believe_v that_o god_n people_n may_v be_v lead_v by_o the_o one_o spirit_n of_o truth_n to_o disagree_v act_n contrary_a to_o and_o oppose_v one_o another_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n as_o the_o adversary_n say_v in_o their_o 16_o page_n there_o be_v no_o necessity_n that_o they_o must_v agree_v in_o thing_n circumstantial_a be_v not_o this_o to_o abuse_v the_o plea_n though_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v do_v against_o understanding_n but_o for_o want_v of_o understanding_n for_o the_o plea_n of_o be_v leave_v to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o one_o self_n be_v therefore_o say_v to_o be_v abuse_v because_o use_v to_o a_o end_n and_o purpose_n direct_o contrary_a to_o that_o for_o which_o it_o be_v give_v for_o the_o end_n for_o which_o it_o be_v give_v be_v to_o bring_v man_n into_o unity_n both_o with_o god_n from_o who_o the_o devil_n by_o transgression_n divide_v they_o and_o with_o one_o another_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n in_o who_o be_v no_o variableness_n nor_o shadow_n of_o turn_v and_o therefore_o to_o plead_v be_v lead_v by_o it_o out_o of_o unity_n and_o against_o unity_n be_v to_o abuse_v the_o very_a plea_n and_o sure_o if_o they_o go_v not_o against_o their_o understanding_n they_o go_v much_o without_o understanding_n in_o conclude_v that_o because_o it_o be_v a_o abuse_n of_o the_o plea_n to_o plead_v this_o against_o understanding_n therefore_o for_o so_o they_o infer_v to_o plead_v this_o against_o this_o or_o that_o thing_n bring_v in_o by_o this_o or_o that_o man_n or_o by_o this_o or_o that_o assembly_n that_o we_o believe_v be_v wrong_a be_v so_o far_o from_o abuse_v the_o plea_n that_o it_o may_v be_v a_o true_a use_v of_o
it_o for_o here_o be_v not_o only_o no_o coherence_n between_o their_o premise_n and_o conclusion_n but_o a_o plain_a depart_n from_o the_o term_n of_o the_o proposition_n which_o be_v a_o plead_v this_o of_o be_v leave_v to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o against_o unity_n which_o word_n they_o whole_o leave_v out_o and_o instead_o thereof_o put_v in_o to_o plead_v this_o of_o god_n in_o which_o we_o have_v be_v and_o be_v abundant_o confirm_v by_o the_o sweet_a and_o powerful_a presence_n of_o the_o lord_n with_o and_o among_o we_o in_o the_o use_n thereof_o evidence_v to_o our_o spirit_n his_o accept_v we_o therein_o and_o if_o the_o adversary_n believe_v those_o thing_n to_o be_v wrong_n that_o do_v not_o prove_v they_o be_v wrong_v though_o it_o may_v prove_v their_o belief_n and_o themselves_o wrong_v in_o their_o 21th_o page_n they_o quote_v another_o passage_n out_o of_o the_o say_a book_n in_o these_o word_n i_o must_v say_v unto_o thou_o
