neither_o age_n nor_o learning_n can_v hinder_v that_o we_o abandon_v ourselves_o unto_o god_n suffer_v ourselves_o to_o be_v rule_v as_o it_o please_v he_o because_o the_o more_o we_o be_v advance_v in_o age_n the_o more_o must_v we_o make_v haste_n to_o recover_v our_o salvation_n because_o we_o have_v but_o the_o small_a time_n that_o our_o life_n endure_v the_o conversion_n of_o person_n in_o age_n shall_v not_o be_v defer_v one_o day_n lest_o their_o life_n escape_v and_o there_o be_v no_o more_o recovery_n because_o 27._o after_o death_n there_o be_v no_o more_o remission_n the_o learned_a must_v also_o acknowledge_v that_o all_o their_o wisdom_n be_v but_o ignorance_n before_o god_n which_o be_v often_o a_o impediment_n unto_o his_o grace_n and_o that_o the_o time_n be_v come_v 19_o when_o he_o will_v destroy_v the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o wise_a and_o abolish_v the_o prudence_n of_o the_o prudent_a that_o 15._o all_o may_v receive_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n as_o little_a child_n i_o say_v unto_o she_o that_o it_o be_v very_o desirable_a to_o be_v of_o the_o number_n of_o they_o who_o shall_v be_v convert_v and_o that_o i_o will_v be_v the_o first_o to_o be_v all_o these_o will_v make_v conversion_n false_a before_o god_n for_o if_o they_o do_v not_o know_v their_o hide_a sin_n they_o can_v amend_v they_o and_o if_o they_o do_v not_o know_v what_o true_a virtue_n be_v they_o can_v practice_v it_o the_o ignorance_n of_o these_o two_o thing_n hinder_v that_o they_o can_v be_v convert_v unto_o god_n nor_o yield_v themselves_o to_o be_v govern_v by_o he_o that_o then_o must_v be_v learn_v first_o of_o all_o to_o know_v the_o state_n of_o their_o soul_n in_o what_o degree_n of_o sin_n it_o be_v and_o also_o in_o what_o degree_n of_o true_a virtue_n if_o these_o thing_n be_v know_v there_o shall_v be_v yet_o many_o who_o will_v embrace_v the_o spirit_n of_o penitence_n and_o abandon_v themselves_o unto_o god_n as_o little_a child_n but_o because_o they_o know_v not_o the_o state_n of_o their_o conscience_n many_o perish_v insensible_o 13._o not_o know_v their_o misery_n if_o you_o will_v sir_n be_v abandon_v unto_o god_n as_o a_o child_n think_v that_o all_o that_o you_o have_v do_v hitherto_o be_v of_o no_o value_n and_o cast_v yourself_o 5._o in_o god_n arm_n who_o be_v your_o father_n as_o a_o child_n who_o can_v speak_v that_o he_o may_v teach_v your_o every_o thing_n he_o shall_v do_v it_o assure_o for_o it_o be_v his_o desire_n 23._o that_o we_o be_v convert_v unto_o he_o when_o we_o withdraw_v from_o he_o by_o our_o sin_n he_o suffer_v it_o because_o he_o will_v not_o retract_v the_o free_a will_n which_o he_o have_v once_o give_v we_o for_o he_o be_v 29._o immutable_a in_o all_o his_o work_n but_o so_o soon_o as_o we_o return_v unto_o he_o by_o penitence_n he_o receive_v we_o as_o the_o father_n do_v his_o prodigal_a child_n 24._o accept_v we_o for_o his_o child_n and_o heir_n of_o his_o glory_n but_o if_o you_o think_v to_o continue_v in_o your_o proper_a wisdom_n you_o shall_v never_o receive_v the_o holy_a spirit_n you_o must_v become_v simple_a as_o a_o child_n and_o not_o will_v any_o more_o to_o use_v your_o proper_a will_n remit_v and_o repose_v it_o whole_o in_o god_n hand_n give_v he_o the_o reins_o of_o your_o proper_a will_n that_o he_o may_v guide_v it_o and_o conduct_v it_o whither_o he_o please_v and_o that_o you_o may_v no_o more_o be_v able_a to_o abuse_v it_o as_o hitherto_o you_o have_v do_v which_o you_o must_v confess_v with_o regret_n for_o if_o our_o will_n have_v be_v rule_v by_o god_n we_o have_v never_o come_v into_o such_o extremity_n of_o all_o evil_n i_o say_v unto_o she_o that_o i_o must_v confess_v that_o my_o will_n have_v not_o be_v rule_v by_o god_n because_o i_o have_v not_o know_v as_o at_o present_a the_o manner_n of_o abandon_v myself_o unto_o god_n she_o say_v sir_n no_o man_n can_v ever_o be_v save_v unless_o he_o know_v that_o he_o must_v be_v entire_o abandon_v unto_o god_n because_o that_o be_v the_o first_o and_o last_o commandment_n which_o he_o have_v give_v unto_o man_n and_o to_o speak_v better_a it_o be_v the_o only_a
