be_v the_o rise_n and_o fountain_n both_o of_o communication_n and_o conversation_n of_o word_n and_o of_o practice_n it_o cause_v the_o stream_n or_o current_n of_o both_o these_o to_o run_v either_o clear_a or_o muddy_a the_o progress_n or_o method_n to_o action_n be_v you_o must_v know_v in_o this_o manner_n 1._o the_o thought_n do_v excite_v and_o stir_v up_o the_o affection_n affection_n do_v kindle_v upon_o thought_n as_o tinder_n do_v upon_o the_o strike_n of_o a_o spark_n of_o fire_n 2._o the_o affection_n they_o carry_v and_o command_v the_o will_n even_o as_o wind_n do_v the_o ship_n 3._o the_o will_n command_v all_o the_o inferior_a power_n to_o execute_v or_o to_o put_v in_o act_n that_o which_o the_o thought_n have_v suggest_v the_o affection_n second_v and_o itself_o accept_v now_o then_o forasmuch_o as_o thought_n carry_v such_o a_o influence_n and_o tendency_n unto_o action_n good_a reason_n why_o we_o shall_v holy_o and_o religious_o employ_v they_o thus_o far_o of_o the_o second_o motive_n to_o the_o duty_n i_o shall_v run_v over_o the_o rest_n with_o more_o brevity_n and_o proceed_v as_o far_o in_o they_o as_o the_o remain_a time_n will_v give_v i_o leave_v
