from_o the_o lord_n and_o her_o judgement_n pass_v over_o from_o she_o god_n as_o she_o complain_v also_o the_o lord_n have_v forsake_v i_o and_o my_o lord_n have_v forget_v i_o chap._n 49._o 14._o but_o yet_o in_o both_o place_n god_n convince_v she_o of_o her_o mistake_n and_o that_o indeed_o her_o complaint_n be_v but_o a_o fruit_n of_o unbelief_n and_o so_o it_o be_v usual_a in_o great_a not_o to_o be_v make_v sensible_a of_o they_o many_o under_o their_o trouble_n suppose_v there_o be_v no_o comfort_n but_o in_o their_o removal_n and_o know_v not_o of_o any_o relief_n in_o their_o sorrow_n but_o in_o the_o take_n away_o of_o their_o cause_n at_o best_a they_o value_v any_o outward_a relief_n before_o internal_a support_v and_o refreshment_n such_o person_n can_v never_o receive_v the_o consolation_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n unto_o any_o refresh_a experience_n to_o look_v for_o all_o our_o comfort_n from_o he_o to_o value_v those_o thing_n wherein_o his_o consolation_n do_v consist_v above_o all_o earthly_a enjoyment_n to_o wait_v upon_o he_o in_o the_o use_n of_o all_o mean_n for_o the_o receive_n of_o his_o instance_n of_o love_n and_o grace_n to_o deserve_v of_o disappointment_n not_o expect_v on_o the_o account_n of_o a_o near_a concernment_n in_o those_o by_o who_o we_o be_v grieve_v we_o may_v therefore_o see_v hence_o what_o it_o be_v we_o be_v warn_v of_o when_o we_o be_v enjoin_v not_o to_o grieve_v the_o holy_a spirit_n as_o 1._o there_o must_v be_v unkindness_n in_o what_o we_o do_v sin_n have_v various_a respect_n towards_o god_n of_o gild_n and_o filth_n and_o the_o like_a these_o several_a consideration_n of_o it_o have_v several_a effect_n but_o that_o which_o be_v denote_v when_o it_o be_v say_v to_o grieve_v he_o be_v unkindness_n or_o that_o defect_n of_o a_o answerable_a love_n unto_o the_o fruit_n and_o testimony_n of_o his_o love_n which_o we_o have_v receive_v that_o it_o be_v accompany_v withal_o he_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o love_n he_o be_v love_n all_o his_o act_n towards_o we_o and_o in_o we_o be_v fruit_n of_o love_n and_o they_o all_o of_o they_o leave_v a_o impression_n of_o love_n upon_o our_o soul_n all_o the_o joy_n and_o consolation_n we_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o in_o this_o world_n arise_v from_o a_o sense_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n communicate_v in_o a_o endear_n way_n of_o love_n unto_o our_o soul_n this_o require_v a_o return_n of_o love_n and_o delight_n in_o all_o duty_n of_o obedience_n on_o our_o part_n when_o instead_o hereof_o by_o our_o negligence_n and_o carelessness_n or_o otherwise_o we_o fall_v into_o those_o thing_n or_o way_n which_o he_o most_o abhor_v he_o great_o respect_v the_o unkindness_n and_o ingratitude_n which_o be_v therein_o and_o be_v therefore_o say_v to_o be_v grieve_v by_o we_o 2._o disappointment_n in_o expectation_n it_o be_v know_v that_o no_o disappointment_n proper_o can_v befall_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n it_o be_v utter_o inconsistent_a with_o his_o prescience_n and_o omniscience_n but_o we_o be_v disappoint_v when_o thing_n fall_v not_o out_o according_a as_o we_o just_o expect_v they_o will_v in_o answer_n unto_o the_o mean_v use_v by_o we_o for_o their_o accomplishment_n and_o when_o the_o mean_n that_o god_n use_v towards_o we_o do_v not_o by_o reason_n of_o our_o sin_n produce_v the_o effect_n they_o be_v suit_v unto_o god_n propose_v himself_o as_o under_o a_o disappointment_n so_o he_o speak_v of_o his_o vineyard_n i_o took_v that_o it_o shall_v bring_v forth_o grape_n and_o it_o bring_v forth_o wild_a grape_n isa._n 5._o 2._o now_o disappointment_n cause_v grief_n as_o when_o a_o father_n have_v use_v all_o mean_n for_o the_o education_n of_o a_o child_n in_o any_o honest_a way_n or_o course_n and_o expend_v much_o of_o his_o estate_n therein_o if_o he_o through_o dissoluteness_n or_o idleness_n fail_v his_o expectation_n and_o disappoint_v he_o it_o fill_v he_o with_o grief_n some_o signal_n mercy_n a_o return_n in_o holy_a obedience_n be_v just_o expect_v on_o their_o account_n and_o where_o this_o be_v not_o be_v be_v a_o thing_n cause_v grief_n this_o be_v we_o here_o mind_v of_o grieve_v not_o the_o spirit_n whereby_o you_o be_v seal_v unto_o the_o day_n of_o redemption_n so_o great_a a_o kindness_n shall_v have_v produce_v other_o effect_n than_o those_o there_o mention_v by_o the_o apostle_n 3._o the_o concernment_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n in_o we_o concur_v to_o his_o be_v say_v to_o be_v grieve_v by_o we_o for_o we_o be_v grieve_v by_o they_o in_o who_o that_o relation_n to_o we_o hence_o he_o be_v so_o concern_v in_o we_o as_o that_o he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v grieve_v with_o our_o sin_n when_o he_o be_v not_o so_o at_o the_o sin_n of_o they_o unto_o
