apostle_n chief_o intend_v those_o supernatural_a and_o extraordinary_a gift_n of_o tongue_n miracle_n prophecy_n and_o the_o like_a which_o be_v rife_a and_o common_a in_o those_o day_n and_o be_v indeed_o necessary_a in_o the_o infancy_n of_o the_o church_n for_o the_o confirmation_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o to_o gain_v proselyte_n to_o the_o belief_n of_o it_o but_o those_o extraordinary_a and_o miraculous_a gift_n have_v long_o since_o cease_v together_o with_o the_o reason_n of_o they_o may_v not_o now_o be_v the_o object_n of_o our_o ambition_n and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n advice_n here_o may_v be_v and_o usual_o be_v extend_v likewise_o to_o the_o natural_a and_o acquire_v gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o be_v necessary_a still_o to_o propagate_v the_o doctrine_n
