or_o less_o great_a according_a as_o the_o faculty_n shall_v be_v more_o or_o less_o capable_a so_o that_o the_o understanding_n be_v the_o most_o noble_a part_n of_o our_o be_v and_o by_o consequence_n most_o capable_a of_o glory_n and_o happiness_n so_o that_o it_o seem_v indubitable_a that_o although_o the_o other_o power_n of_o our_o soul_n and_o all_o the_o part_n of_o our_o body_n shall_v possess_v as_o much_o of_o it_o as_o they_o can_v contain_v nevertheless_o according_a to_o the_o proportion_n of_o its_o nature_n and_o its_o greatness_n our_o understanding_n will_v possess_v more_o of_o it_o for_o it_o be_v here_o that_o the_o comparison_n that_o we_o ordinary_o make_v use_v of_o on_o this_o subject_n must_v have_v place_n that_o although_o diverse_a vessel_n that_o be_v plunge_v into_o a_o river_n at_o the_o same_o time_n be_v all_o equal_o fill_v in_o as_o much_o as_o there_o be_v not_o any_o one_o of_o they_o which_o receive_v not_o as_o much_o water_n as_o the_o extent_n of_o its_o capacity_n will_v bear_v nevertheless_o they_o receive_v it_o unequal_o because_o this_o extent_n of_o their_o capacity_n be_v not_o equal_a such_o therefore_o as_o be_v natural_o the_o proportion_n of_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o part_n whereof_o we_o be_v compose_v among_o themselves_o such_o without_o doubt_n must_v be_v that_o of_o the_o happiness_n and_o degree_n of_o its_o subordination_n from_o whence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o not_o only_o the_o proportion_n of_o more_o and_o less_o must_v be_v observe_v in_o what_o concern_v their_o glorification_n in_o proportion_n to_o their_o natural_a excellency_n but_o it_o even_o seem_v that_o the_o glory_n and_o happiness_n of_o the_o understanding_n be_v in_o some_o sense_n the_o cause_n of_o that_o of_o all_o the_o other_o faculty_n if_o therefore_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o understanding_n of_o every_o believer_n be_v unequal_a it_o will_v be_v also_o unequal_a in_o all_o that_o depend_v thereon_o on_o the_o contrary_a if_o the_o understanding_n of_o each_o believer_n be_v equal_o glorify_v it_o will_v follow_v thence_o in_o like_a manner_n that_o they_o will_v be_v also_o equal_a in_o the_o remainder_n of_o their_o happiness_n now_o we_o see_v indeed_o a_o marvellous_a great_a difference_n between_o the_o quickness_n the_o largeness_n and_o the_o vigour_n of_o spirit_n in_o man_n such_o as_o now_o we_o be_v for_o there_o be_v some_o that_o we_o look_v on_o with_o some_o kind_n of_o admiration_n and_o as_o person_n in_o who_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o show_v what_o he_o can_v do_v if_o he_o please_v they_o have_v so_o much_o both_o of_o lively_a and_o fruitful_a imagination_n a_o vast_a and_o constant_a memory_n subtle_a and_o curious_a fancy_n reason_v sublime_a vigorous_a and_o full_a of_o light_n some_o other_o appear_v stupid_a and_o blockish_a and_o as_o one_o will_v think_v but_o little_o raise_v above_o the_o condition_n of_o beast_n themselves_o among_o believe_v christian_n it_o can_v be_v deny_v but_o that_o there_o be_v many_o of_o who_o we_o can_v speak_v more_o advantageous_o than_o by_o say_v that_o they_o be_v indifferent_a but_o that_o proceed_v either_o from_o the_o variety_n of_o their_o temperament_n and_o the_o constitution_n of_o their_o organ_n or_o from_o the_o diversity_n of_o their_o exercise_n and_o employment_n or_o from_o the_o great_a difference_n that_o be_v put_v in_o the_o manner_n of_o their_o instruction_n and_o education_n or_o chief_o from_o the_o differ_a manner_n after_o which_o it_o please_v god_n to_o deal_v with_o they_o be_v it_o by_o the_o efficacy_n of_o his_o providence_n be_v it_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o revelation_n and_o all_o this_o seem_v a_o consequence_n of_o sin_n and_o effect_n of_o that_o conduct_n which_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o follow_v as_o well_o in_o the_o establishment_n and_o government_n of_o kingdom_n as_o in_o the_o constitution_n of_o his_o church_n and_o the_o edification_n thereof_o this_o notwithstanding_o there_o be_v great_a probability_n that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v well_o near_o all_o equal_a and_o that_o if_o they_o have_v remain_v in_o their_o integrity_n as_o all_o these_o difference_n have_v be_v neither_o equal_n nor_o expedient_n so_o we_o have_v never_o see_v
