14._o 16._o i_o will_v pray_v the_o father_n and_o he_o shall_v give_v you_o another_o comforter_n that_o he_o may_v abide_v with_o you_o for_o ever_o verse_n 17._o even_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n he_o dwell_v with_o you_o and_o shall_v be_v in_o you_o ver._n 26._o the_o comforter_n the_o holy_a ghost_n he_o shall_v teach_v you_o all_o thing_n say_v christ_n john_n 15._o 5._o without_o i_o constitute_v a_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n thus_o 1_o peter_n 4._o 10_o 11._o as_o every_o man_n have_v receive_v the_o gift_n even_o so_o minister_v the_o same_o one_o to_o another_o as_o good_a steward_n of_o the_o manifold_a grace_n of_o god_n if_o any_o man_n speak_v let_v he_o speak_v as_o the_o oracle_n of_o god_n if_o any_o man_n minister_n let_v he_o do_v it_o as_o of_o the_o ability_n which_o god_n give_v that_o god_n in_o all_o thing_n may_v be_v glorify_v which_o we_o take_v to_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v none_o ought_v to_o speak_v or_o minister_v about_o christ_n can_v be_v true_o such_o without_o the_o qualification_n of_o and_o be_v commissionated_a by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o as_o to_o the_o bp_n say_n that_o w._n p._n nor_o none_o can_v now_o preach_v in_o demonstration_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o power_n it_o be_v but_o his_o bare_a assertion_n and_o more_o than_o he_o can_v prove_v but_o as_o to_o the_o bp_n part_n we_o may_v be_v sure_a he_o can_v so_o preach_v since_o he_o deny_v it_o to_o all_o and_o while_o he_o thus_o assert_n he_o will_v do_v well_o to_o consider_v how_o he_o come_v by_o his_o ministry_n since_o christ_n promise_v to_o be_v with_o his_o minister_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o his_o spirit_n be_v to_o continue_v with_o and_o in_o they_o for_o ever_o from_o which_o gift_n of_o his_o spirit_n they_o be_v to_o speak_v according_a to_o the_o apostle_n as_o the_o oracle_n of_o god_n which_o to_o be_v sure_a can_v be_v but_o in_o demonstration_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o power_n have_v thus_o prove_v the_o spirit_n to_o be_v a_o necessary_a qualification_n to_o the_o constitute_v a_o minister_n of_o christ_n we_o now_o come_v to_o consider_v the_o bp_n outward_a way_n to_o holiness_n and_o spirituallity_n in_o which_o we_o shall_v find_v he_o as_o much_o out_o of_o the_o way_n as_o in_o the_o last_o the_o bp._n proceed_v p._n 23._o people_z be_v now_o make_v holy_a by_o the_o use_n of_o outward_a mean_n and_o grow_v up_o in_o grace_n by_o degree_n yet_o in_o both_o case_n as_o to_o gift_n as_o well_o as_o holiness_n there_o be_v those_o who_o by_o analogy_n and_o proportion_n may_v still_o be_v term_v spiritual_a that_o be_v there_o be_v person_n who_o by_o study_n and_o industry_n attain_v to_o speak_v with_o tongue_n etc._n etc._n other_o who_o have_v from_o the_o holy_a scripture_n which_o be_v indict_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n learn_v the_o mind_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o be_v in_o their_o heart_n persuade_v of_o the_o truth_n and_o duty_n they_o have_v thence_o learn_v and_o feel_v their_o soul_n strong_o move_v by_o the_o power_n of_o the_o spirit_n under_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n to_o the_o performance_n of_o such_o duty_n have_v yield_v themselves_o and_o submit_v to_o the_o conduct_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n lead_v they_o by_o scripture_n into_o all_o truth_n as_o well_o as_o holiness_n thus_o reader_n we_o have_v give_v thou_o this_o long_a citation_n of_o the_o bp_n that_o his_o own_o word_n may_v full_o speak_v his_o mind_n answ_n the_o bp._n have_v here_o assert_v upon_o his_o own_o authority_n and_o without_o proof_n that_o people_n be_v now_o make_v holy_a by_o the_o use_n of_o outward_a mean_n and_o that_o there_o be_v those_o who_o by_o study_n and_o industry_n attain_v to_o speak_v with_o tongue_n may_v be_v term_v spiritual_a but_o contrary_a hereunto_o the_o holy_a scripture_n do_v abundant_o prove_v viz._n that_o people_n be_v make_v holy_a and_o spiritual_a by_o inward_a mean_n as_o we_o
