provocation_n and_o allurement_n to_o sin_n we_o do_v with_o all_o diligence_n exhort_v he_o by_o and_o by_o to_o acknowledge_v his_o error_n and_o humble_o to_o ask_v forgiveness_n of_o his_o most_o merciful_a father_n not_o to_o suffer_v sin_n to_o reign_v and_o rule_v in_o he_o nor_o to_o go_v on_o in_o heap_v one_o sin_n upon_o another_o final_o we_o exhort_v he_o to_o salve_v by_o god_n help_n and_o assistance_n the_o fault_n commit_v with_o great_a good_a deed_n and_o become_v a_o honest_a man_n again_o to_o amend_v and_o reform_v his_o life_n also_o we_o bid_v he_o to_o remember_v as_o s._n john_n say_v in_o the_o revelation_n from_o whence_o he_o be_v fall_v 5._o and_o to_o repent_v and_o to_o do_v work_v worthy_a of_o a_o man_n that_o be_v repentant_a final_o to_o endeavour_n in_o a_o certain_a study_n and_o desire_v to_o reconcile_v god_n will_n unto_o he_o to_o do_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v well_o please_v and_o acceptable_a to_o god_n last_o of_o all_o acknowledge_v man_n imbecility_n and_o proclivity_n to_o offend_v and_o chief_o that_o inward_a stubbornness_n and_o contumacy_n of_o the_o heart_n against_o the_o law_n of_o god_n moreover_o set_v before_o his_o eye_n those_o thing_n wherein_o he_o have_v often_o offend_v either_o of_o ignorance_n or_o negligence_n we_o bid_v he_o persevere_v in_o a_o continual_a repentance_n yea_o and_o to_o cast_v himself_o down_o perpetual_o as_o it_o be_v at_o the_o foot_n of_o jesus_n with_o the_o sinful_a woman_n in_o the_o 37._o gospel_n not_o doubt_v but_o that_o grace_n do_v abound_v above_o sin_n as_o the_o apostle_n say_v we_o bid_v he_o be_v now_o 20._o whole_o displease_v with_o himself_o to_o request_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n with_o a_o humble_a voice_n and_o knock_v of_o his_o breast_n with_o the_o with_o daily_a prayer_n and_o with_o daily_a 13._o repentance_n and_o with_o the_o acknowledge_v of_o god_n anger_n against_o sin_n and_o with_o patience_n in_o misery_n and_o flesh_n tribulation_n and_o with_o the_o memory_n and_o remembrance_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n but_o chief_o with_o a_o certain_a christian_a courage_n of_o the_o mind_n and_o with_o the_o invincible_a strength_n of_o faith_n and_o of_o the_o evangelical_a spirit_n whatsoever_o there_o be_v in_o the_o prophetical_a and_o apostolical_a write_n either_o testimony_n of_o god_n wrath_n against_o sin_n or_o example_n of_o punishment_n against_o the_o wicked_a we_o do_v excite_v and_o stir_v up_o this_o our_o penitent_a person_n to_o the_o remembrance_n of_o they_o we_o show_v he_o both_o that_o god_n do_v not_o spare_v the_o angel_n which_o have_v sin_v and_o also_o that_o by_o a_o deluge_n or_o general_a flood_n of_o 45._o water_n he_o extinguish_v almost_o all_o mankind_n for_o impiety_n and_o ungodliness_n and_o that_o he_o overthrow_v quite_o from_o the_o foundation_n the_o city_n of_o the_o sodomite_n and_o sin_n gomorrheans_n burn_v they_o into_o ash_n and_o that_o he_o make_v they_o a_o ensample_n unto_o they_o that_o afterwards_o shall_v live_v ungodly_a as_o saint_n peter_n say_v in_o his_o second_o epistle_n we_o do_v set_v before_o he_o not_o only_o the_o punishment_n 6._o wickedness_n and_o also_o love_n and_o embrace_v virtue_n and_o godliness_n moreover_o we_o set_v down_o before_o he_o certain_a place_n out_o of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n worthy_a to_o be_v remember_v which_o be_v fit_v for_o this_o purpose_n and_o amongst_o other_o say_n that_o chief_o which_o be_v in_o the_o epistle_n to_o the_o hebrew_n he_o that_o despise_v moses_n law_n die_v without_o 28._o mercy_n under_o two_o or_o three_o witness_n of_o how_o much_o sore_a punishment_n suppose_v you_o shall_v he_o be_v worthy_a which_o tread_v under_o foot_n the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o count_v the_o blood_n of_o the_o testament_n as_o a_o unholy_a thing_n wherewith_o he_o be_v sanctify_v and_o do_v despite_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n and_o that_o say_v out_o of_o the_o saint_n peter_n speak_v these_o word_n of_o those_o man_n who_o like_v as_o the_o dog_n return_v to_o his_o own_o vomit_n as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o common_a proverb_n or_o as_o the_o sow_n that_o be_v wash_v return_v to_o she_o wallow_v in_o the_o mire_n so_o they_o slide_v back_o again_o afresh_o into_o their_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n wherefore_o by_o these_o and_o such_o like_a both_o example_n and_o threat_n of_o the_o scripture_n we_o go_v about_o to_o terrify_v and_o call_v back_o the_o repentant_a person_n from_o sin_n before_o all_o thing_n we_o exhort_v he_o to_o see_v well_o to_o this_o voluntary_o that_o not_o only_o he_o himself_o do_v not_o willing_o &_o against_o his_o own_o conscience_n rush_v headlong_o into_o sin_n for_o so_o he_o may_v loose_v both_o faith_n and_o the_o holy_a spirit_n neither_o can_v he_o be_v in_o favour_n with_o god_n or_o that_o he_o do_v not_o pamper_v too_o much_o as_o the_o common_a sort_n of_o man_n be_v wont_v to_o do_v the_o tenderness_n of_o his_o mind_n but_o also_o that_o with_o all_o might_n and_o main_a he_o resist_v and_o withstand_v satan_n us._n
