though_o they_o never_o come_v to_o receive_v in_o the_o holy_a supper_n so_o that_o it_o be_v but_o one_o christ_n his_o body_n and_o blood_n the_o same_o crucify_a saviour_n which_o be_v receive_v in_o both_o sacrament_n and_o but_o one_o faith_n for_o the_o kind_n that_o lay_v hold_v and_o feed_v on_o christ_n in_o they_o all_o only_o it_o receive_v degree_n and_o addition_n of_o strength_n in_o this_o of_o the_o supper_n the_o word_n begin_v the_o life_n of_o faith_n and_o by_o it_o the_o believer_n into_o christ_n the_o other_o maintain_v and_o increase_n it_o to_o a_o further_a their_o loathsome_a filth_n and_o dreadful_a curse_n yea_o in_o behold_v himself_o under_o the_o heavy_a sentence_n of_o the_o law_n condemnation_n oh_o how_o be_v he_o whole_o encompass_v with_o terror_n and_o amazement_n when_o he_o look_v within_o he_o oh_o the_o terror_n of_o a_o accuse_a conscience_n and_o a_o kill_a guilt_n when_o he_o look_v without_o he_o oh_o the_o horror_n of_o a_o deserve_a death_n and_o a_o torment_a hell_n when_o he_o look_v above_o he_o oh_o the_o dread_a of_o a_o offend_a majesty_n and_o a_o avenge_a judge_n oh_o whither_o then_o shall_v this_o poor_a penitent_a fly_n for_o succour_n where_o oh_o where_o shall_v his_o affright_a and_o afflict_a soul_n seek_v for_o shelter_n where_o but_o at_o the_o cross_n of_o his_o redeemer_n v._o and_o when_o christ_n so_o full_a of_o pity_n so_o full_a of_o love_n when_o he_o behold_v the_o humble_a suppliant_a and_o sincere_a penitent_a in_o the_o low_a depth_n of_o his_o humiliation_n pour_v out_o his_o complaint_n at_o the_o foot_n of_o his_o cross_n when_o he_o hear_v his_o mournful_a sigh_n his_o painful_a groan_n the_o earnest_a messenger_n of_o his_o asslicted_a soul_n it_o be_v then_o as_o impossible_a for_o christ_n to_o forget_v the_o passion_n of_o sorrow_n which_o he_o suffer_v as_o not_o to_o compassionate_v this_o poor_a penitent_n for_o who_o he_o suffer_v he_o who_o stop_v not_o his_o ear_n at_o the_o jew_n blasphemy_n will_v certain_o not_o stop_v his_o ear_n at_o the_o penitent_n complaint_n he_o that_o turn_v not_o away_o his_o face_n from_o his_o enemy_n buffet_n will_v not_o turn_v away_o his_o eye_n from_o the_o suppliant_n tear_n though_o the_o devil_n have_v bereave_v the_o sinner_n of_o his_o purity_n yet_o can_v he_o not_o deprive_v his_o saviour_n of_o his_o pity_n christ_n do_v not_o christ_n can_v so_o remember_v the_o sin_n that_o man_n have_v commit_v that_o he_o forget_v the_o soul_n which_o himself_o have_v purchase_v his_o eye_n and_o nothing_o else_o indeed_o can_v do_v it_o but_o his_o eye_n of_o mercy_n that_o look_v through_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n to_o behold_v the_o sorrow_n of_o the_o sinner_n and_o that_o affliction_n move_v his_o compassion_n vi_o the_o sorrow_n of_o affliction_n and_o pain_n in_o the_o penitent_a become_v destructive_a of_o sin_n through_o the_o power_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n for_o that_o god_n will_v be_v sanctify_v in_o all_o they_o that_o come_v nigh_o unto_o he_o and_o therefore_o he_o be_v a_o consume_a fire_n in_o the_o fury_n of_o his_o vengeance_n when_o we_o humble_v ourselves_o before_o he_o though_o with_o the_o deep_a of_o affliction_n unless_o it_o be_v by_o faith_n in_o jesus_n christ_n as_o the_o mediator_n god_n will_v be_v a_o just_a judge_n to_o condemn_v rather_o than_o a_o merciful_a father_n to_o forgive_v for_o it_o be_v not_o our_o tear_n without_o christ_n blood_n not_o our_o sorrow_n without_o his_o suffering_n not_o our_o affliction_n without_o his_o passion_n that_o can_v quench_v the_o fire_n of_o god_n wrath_n satisfy_v the_o severity_n of_o god_n justice_n and_o move_v the_o tenderness_n of_o his_o mercy_n when_o therefore_o act_v by_o love_n and_o strengthen_v by_o faith_n we_o pour_v out_o our_o complaint_n unto_o our_o god_n in_o a_o sincere_a repentance_n our_o affliction_n and_o pain_n shall_v become_v the_o proper_a object_n of_o his_o divine_a mercy_n a_o prayer_n for_o thursday_n morning_n preparatory_a to_o the_o
