of_o it_o and_o this_o be_v it_o that_o will_v engage_v you_o mighty_o in_o the_o effectual_a follow_v after_o it_o 4._o stir_v up_o hope_n maybe_o you_o will_v say_v i_o do_v desire_v it_o be_v better_o with_o i_o i_o see_v it_o will_v be_v happy_a for_o i_o if_o i_o can_v obtain_v but_o the_o lord_n help_v i_o i_o have_v little_a hope_n of_o it_o i_o have_v desire_v so_o long_o and_o wait_v so_o long_o and_o yet_o it_o come_v not_o but_o my_o poor_a and_o barren_a soul_n after_o all_o still_o abide_v in_o the_o same_o dead_a and_o lifeless_a state_n as_o ever_o and_o be_v so_o far_o short_a and_o at_o so_o great_a a_o distance_n from_o that_o bless_a state_n that_o i_o be_o even_o quite_o discourage_v and_o be_o in_o doubt_n i_o shall_v never_o obtain_v be_v not_o discourage_v discourage_v that_o it_o be_v no_o more_o be_v humble_v that_o it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o be_v not_o discourage_v he_o that_o have_v begin_v there_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o hope_n that_o he_o will_v perfect_v a_o cure_n upon_o you_o thus_o stir_v up_o your_o hope_n in_o god_n by_o consider_v the_o promise_n and_o any_o little_a degree_n of_o its_o performance_n but_o beware_v i_o can_v too_o often_o give_v you_o this_o caution_n use_v not_o this_o hope_n to_o make_v you_o secure_a and_o careless_a say_v not_o for_o your_o life_n as_o bad_a as_o it_o be_v with_o i_o i_o hope_v it_o will_v be_v better_o and_o thereupon_o sleep_v on_o and_o neglect_v to_o follow_v after_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n for_o such_o a_o soul_n let_v not_o your_o hope_n secure_v you_o in_o your_o negligence_n but_o establish_v you_o against_o your_o discouragement_n let_v it_o not_o secure_v you_o against_o diligence_n but_o encourage_v you_o unto_o diligence_n since_o the_o matter_n stand_v thus_o as_o great_a a_o distance_n as_o there_o be_v betwixt_o your_o present_a state_n and_o that_o prosperous_a state_n of_o soul_n which_o you_o desire_v and_o wish_v for_o and_o as_o great_a difficulty_n as_o you_o imagine_v it_o ever_o for_o you_o to_o get_v up_o to_o such_o a_o state_n since_o both_o the_o promise_n and_o experience_n give_v you_o such_o ground_n of_o hope_n that_o yourselves_o on_o by_o your_o hope_n in_o god_n pray_v for_o more_o grace_n pray_v for_o more_o life_n and_o more_o power_n and_o pray_v as_o man_n of_o hope_n strive_v and_o stir_v up_o your_o sleepy_a heart_n and_o strive_v as_o man_n of_o hope_n that_o as_o low_a as_o it_o be_v with_o you_o yet_o there_o be_v hope_n for_o you_o to_o get_v up_o be_v encourage_v by_o the_o promise_n be_v
