unholy_a practice_n of_o the_o world_n who_o be_v make_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o deny_v themselves_o and_o selfe-righteousnesse_n therefore_o your_o false_a accusation_n we_o deny_v 2._o for_o your_o accuse_v we_o to_o be_v pharisee_n for_o stand_v in_o our_o own_o knowledge_n and_o say_v these_o be_v accurse_v who_o know_v not_o the_o law_n i_o answer_v this_o be_v whereas_o you_o say_v we_o judge_v the_o lawful_a use_n of_o meat_n and_o drink_n that_o be_v false_a we_o speak_v against_o your_o glutteny_n and_o drunkenness_n and_o excess_n which_o all_o the_o holy_a man_n of_o god_n have_v speak_v against_o 3._o whereas_o you_o accuse_v we_o for_o shut_v up_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n against_o man_n mat._n 23._o 13._o i_o answer_v those_o who_o christ_n speak_v on_o there_o be_v such_o as_o be_v hypocrite_n which_o say_v and_o do_v not_o which_o preach_v to_o other_o that_o which_o they_o do_v not_o practise_v themselves_o and_o here_o let_v sin_n unto_o god_n be_v to_o purify_v and_o not_o to_o poison_v 5._o you_o charge_v we_o with_o tything_n mint_n and_o annise_v but_o neglect_v the_o weighty_a matter_n of_o the_o law_n and_o you_o say_v we_o lay_v all_o the_o weight_n upon_o trivial_a observance_n of_o hat_n thou_o clothes_n etc._n etc._n but_o do_v whole_o neglect_v the_o mystery_n of_o faith_n righteousness_n of_o christ_n and_o ordinance_n of_o the_o gospel_n i_o answer_v for_o tything_n that_o be_v your_o own_o and_o you_o contend_v for_o it_o neither_o dare_v we_o call_v any_o thing_n trivial_a that_o the_o lord_n require_v of_o we_o though_o we_o lay_v not_o the_o weight_n upon_o these_o thing_n and_o for_o the_o neglect_v the_o mystery_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v false_a for_o the_o mystery_n of_o faith_n be_v hold_v in_o a_o pure_a conscience_n and_o that_o we_o own_o and_o press_v every_o one_o to_o practice_n and_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n we_o own_o and_o the_o ordinance_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o be_v christ_n we_o own_v only_o your_o invention_n and_o tradition_n which_o be_v never_o ordain_v by_o christ_n we_o deny_v 6._o you_o charge_v we_o with_o make_v clean_o the_o outside_n of_o the_o cup_n be_v white_v sepulcher_n outward_o appear_v beautiful_a to_o man_n but_o within_o full_a of_o hypocrisy_n and_o iniquity_n i_o answer_v now_o whether_o this_o belong_v to_o we_o who_o witness_n our_o light_n and_o righteousness_n within_o which_o be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n in_o spirit_n or_o to_o you_o who_o have_v your_o light_n and_o righteousness_n without_o in_o your_o form_n but_o within_o be_v full_a of_o pride_n covetousness_n lie_v slander_a and_o such_o like_a filthy_a practice_n which_o we_o deny_v now_o who_o this_o charge_n will_v fall_v upon_o let_v the_o truth_n judge_n and_o whereas_o you_o say_v we_o do_v our_o work_n to_o be_v see_v of_o man_n because_o the_o lord_n send_v some_o of_o we_o into_o your_o idol_n temple_n street_n market_n i_o answer_v be_v it_o not_o the_o practice_n of_o the_o apostle_n to_o go_v into_o the_o synagogue_n and_o market_n place_n where_o the_o people_n be_v to_o declare_v their_o message_n they_o have_v from_o the_o lord_n and_o yet_o they_o do_v it_o not_o to_o be_v see_v of_o man_n and_o whereas_o you_o say_v we_o pray_v not_o at_o all_o
